Ah Du expressed his gratitude to Ding Fan, clasping his fists, yet his eyes bore an arrogant glint. Though he initially believed he was dood, encountering fellow disciples from the 36 Grottoes and surviving filled him with imnse gratitude.
Unexpectedly, it was the Lake Master's big brother, Ding Fan, who rescued him. Rembering tales of Ding Fan's prowess and capabilities told by the Lake Master, which he found rather irkso, made him uncomfortable. Not having competed in the selection tournant, he was unaware of Ding Fan's skills.
