As the chief left, the armies of tens of thousands of soldiers and martial artists from the two nations were repeatedly defeated by the villagers, ultimately abandoning their armor and fleeing in panic...

Subsequently, countless powerful individuals mysteriously appeared throughout the Cultivation World. Each one was incredibly formidable, undoubtedly top-tier warriors. However, many of these warriors were previously just villagers, except for the absent chief...

...

Ding Fan ca back to his senses, his heart filled with shock. Such a stone wall and its sculpture contained such an astonishing story. An unremarkable village had gathered so many strong individuals from the Ancient Era. If it weren't for the ignorance of those military leaders, those powerful figures wouldn't have reerged.

Ding Fan thought that although most of the village's strong individuals and their extraordinary thods were recorded in the stone wall painting, there was very little introduction about the chief. Even in the end, the chief did not fully unleash his strength, only standing at the army's gate.

Ding Fan knew that although the stone wall painting did not describe the chief, the chief was definitely not a simple character. He alone could render an entire nation's army helpless, a true master of "one man defending the pass against ten thousand." Such prowess was already remarkable.

Ding Fan was convinced the chief's abilities extended far beyond that; he was probably the strongest being in the village, otherwise, he wouldn't have been the chief.

He stared at the stone wall painting, lost in thought. Where did the chief go in the end? Was the Sword Washing Pool his training ground after leaving the village? Ding Fan had no way to know but believed this stone wall painting might have been carved by the chief, perhaps as a commoration of the idyllic, peaceful tis in the village.

In the Ancient Era, those strong individuals in the village were peak powerhouses, and even in today's world, any one of them could likely dominate the Cultivation World. Ding Fan felt a yearning in his heart, wondering when he could reach such heights. Clearly, he had a long journey ahead...

Roar...

Suddenly, a deep, growling sound ca, startling Ding Fan. He quickly channeled his Divine Vigor to guard his body. It was then that Ding Fan noticed a stone door in the dim area of the hall, the door ajar. Ding Fan cautiously approached.

The growling sound persisted, and as Ding Fan neared the stone door, he realized it was indeed coming from the other side of the door.

At this mont, Ding Fan wanted to extend his Divine Sense to observe the outside situation, but he didn't expect that his Divine Sense couldn't penetrate the stone door. There was a Formation on the stone door, suppressing and isolating Divine Sense, which left Ding Fan montarily stunned. This was the second ti he encountered a Formation suppressing Divine Sense.

If Ding Fan hadn't previously unraveled the mysteries of the Formation in the Lake of Inner Peace on the Giant Peak Summit, he would surely have been amazed by this Formation. He hadn't expected to see such a Formation again.

Fortunately, Ding Fan had already thoroughly studied this Formation before, allowing him to know so thods to break it. He had originally thought such a Formation only existed at the Lake of Inner Peace with its thirty-six holes, not expecting to find it here in the Xuantian Secret Realm.

Despite his astonishnt, Ding Fan also felt a bit lucky. If he hadn't previously comprehended the Formation in the Lake of Inner Peace, breaking this Formation to enter the stone door wouldn't have been easy. Even with Ding Fan's current understanding, he dared not be careless.

After all, Ding Fan knew whatever lay beyond the stone door would not be simple. The roar of the Yuan Beast indicated at least one Yuan Beast was present, possibly the guardian Yuan Beast encountered by Ah Du, related to the absorbed vitality in the oasis.

With such a Yuan Beast, Ding Fan couldn't afford to be reckless.

Imdiately, Ding Fan carefully retrieved a blank Array Plate and began its refinent. Although he understood the Formation, breaking it was a first for him, as this was only the second ti encountering it. Ding Fan considered breaking it impossible without refining an Array Plate, forming a small Formation to resist the larger one. This wasn't too difficult for Ding Fan, and he soon completed an Array Plate. With the Array Plate done, as Ding Fan approached the stone door again, the suppression on his Divine Sense noticeably lessened.

Suddenly, just as Ding Fan was about to enter the stone door, he heard footsteps behind him and beca alert. However, he was surprised by those who appeared.

"Big brother!"

The ones arriving were none other than Guo Linn and Ah Du.

Seeing them, Ding Fan felt relieved. He realized he had been in the cave for quite so ti, and the two probably couldn't wait outside any longer.

"Big brother, we waited outside for so long without a word from you and were a bit worried, so we ca in boldly."

Guo Linn looked at Ding Fan, a wave of excitent washing over him, clearly relieved that Ding Fan was unhard, which was the best outco. He couldn't help but speak.

"It's fine, coming in is good too. At least it's relatively safe here."

Ding Fan replied directly.

At this ti, Ding Fan looked at Guo Linn and Ah Du, asking:

"When did you co in?"

"We just got in, big brother."

Guo Linn answered.

"Did you hear the roar of the Yuan Beast just now?" Ding Fan asked.

"Yeah." Guo Linn nodded.

At this mont, Ah Du also heard Ding Fan's words and nodded. His face unknowingly beca more solemn. Clearly, he also heard the Yuan Beast's roar, felt a heavy mood, and initially was quite concerned about Ding Fan. Seeing Ding Fan safe and sound now, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"The Yuan Beast might be inside this stone gate. Be careful, look at those images on the stone wall above. I'll go inside the stone gate to check what's happening."

Ding Fan said, pointing with his finger at the images on the stone wall above the hall.

Guo Linn and Ah Du followed Ding Fan's finger direction, looking upwards to notice those images on the stone wall above the hall. Guo Linn quickly went through the images on the stone wall but didn't notice anything special, feeling curious and asked Ding Fan:

"Big brother, there's nothing special about these wall images?"

"You? Didn't you see anything?" Ding Fan heard Guo Linn's question and couldn't help but ask back.

"No, I didn't." Guo Linn answered, looking more confused.

"I didn't see anything different either," Ah Du also stated frankly.

Ding Fan watched the two briefly look at the stone wall images, evidently without any scene erging in their minds like the ones he had seen before. He felt curious, could it be that only he could see those images from the wall appear as those previous scenes?

Ding Fan couldn't believe it was like this. After all, there wasn't much of a difference between him and Guo Linn; since he could see it, why couldn't they? He told them:

"Look more closely; maybe you'll notice sothing else."

Guo Linn heard Ding Fan's words and diligently stared at the images on the stone wall, trying his best to focus on them. He was curious what his big brother ant for them to see, what his big brother had noticed.

Ah Du was also curious and took another look at the images on the stone wall. These images seed ordinary, including figures and landscapes, along with so Yuan Beast patterns. It's not surprising that ancient cultivators liked carving these things where they lived, as even now in the Cultivation World, many wealthy families decorate their estates or palaces with similar images on stone walls.

Guo Linn and Ah Du watched for a while but still felt these were ordinary images, no different. They helplessly shook their heads and shrugged at Ding Fan.

At this mont, Ding Fan felt a bit helpless, not expecting that he could previously see so many scenes in the stone wall images, which were still vividly rembered in his mind as if they truly happened. But these two hadn't seen anything, forcing Ding Fan to turn and look at the stone gate, which seed peaceful without any accidents, prompting him to guide Guo Linn and Ah Du to a corner of the hall, not far from the stone gate but still so distance away.

Ding Fan then said directly:

"Since you didn't see anything, I'll tell you what I saw. As for why you couldn't see them and why I could, it's a mystery to too..."

Subsequently, Ding Fan relayed all the strange scenes that had appeared in his mind to Guo Linn and Ah Du, wrapping up the narration quickly.

Upon hearing Ding Fan's account, Guo Linn was deeply shocked, not expecting Ding Fan could see so many things in the stone wall images. As described by Ding Fan, the Sword Washing Pool's existence was likely constructed by the village chief, who definitely wasn't ordinary and likely a powerful being from ancient tis.

Guo Linn couldn't help but speak to Ding Fan:

"Big brother, judging by what you saw, this Sword Washing Pool might be related to that powerful village chief. I've heard so mighty figures have long lifespans; is it possible the village chief is still alive?"

Before waiting for Ding Fan to speak, Ah Du interjected:

"Impossible. No matter how strong an ancient figure was, they couldn't still be alive now. The Xuantian Secret Realm has existed for tens of thousands of years. How could they still live!"

Ding Fan agreed with Ah Du's statent, saying:

"That's right, the village chief wouldn't live so long, and if such a figure were still alive, we wouldn't have been able to make it here to appreciate their handiwork; we'd have perished long ago."

Guo Linn heard Ding Fan and Ah Du's words, nodding slightly, feeling relieved. Very quickly, Guo Linn got excited, using Divine Sense to talk with Ding Fan:

"If this place was indeed constructed by that village chief, it might hold the chief's legacy; we've hit the jackpot!"

Ding Fan heard Guo Linn's words and, half-smiling, said:

"Legacy or not, I'm not sure, but that Yuan Beast inside is definitely formidable."

Guo Linn's excitent dulled upon hearing Ding Fan, turning more solemn as Yuan Beast's roar continued to echo from within the stone gate.
