Ding Fan, after blinding the wolf with a rock, walked far away and found a sheltered spot to spend the night.

Had he not been saving Su Maner, he could have enjoyed roasted Mountain Deer this evening. Instead, he had to settle for so compressed biscuits to satisfy his hunger. However, Ding Fan had no complaints, since in doing so, he had repaid a favor to Su Maner.

What irked Ding Fan was his limited strength, which ant resorting to stones to blind the wolf's eyes. Had it been before, he could have easily used a stone to crush the wolves' skulls directly. Now, Ding Fan was very eager to beco stronger.

After eating the compressed biscuits, Ding Fan sat down cross-legged and began to breathe deeply. Only after cycling through the Xiao Zhoutian five or six tis did he open his eyes, unaware that the night had passed by in the anti.

Having replenished his food supply, Ding Fan once again picked up his pace, darting into the depths of the forest at a speed incomprehensible to the average person.

...

"Young Master Luohao, the Ding Fan you're looking for has definitely entered this forest."

On the outskirts of the Immortal Peak Primal Forest, with two SUVs parked and a group of people accompanying him, a middle-aged man stood by Wang Luohao's side and spoke.

This middle-aged man, tall and burly with a fierce glint in his eyes, and bulging temples, was clearly soone who had practiced internal cultivation techniques.

"Mr. He Chen, if I rember correctly, your He Family are expert trackers, aren't you?" Wang Luohao said.

The middle-aged man nad He Chen glanced at Wang Luohao, obviously understanding the implication behind his words. He said indifferently, "Within three days, Ding Fan will be dead."

Having said this, He Chen didn't waste any ti, as he agilely leapt into the forest like an ape. After a few flickers, he disappeared from everyone's sight.

"Young Master Luohao, isn't it overkill to involve the He Family of Hao Mountain to kill a re Ding Fan?" At this mont, a man in a suit respectfully approached Wang Luohao.

Hao Mountain He Family, a family with ancient martial arts lineage. In the suit-wearing man's opinion, Ding Fan was nothing more than a profligate son; there was no need to engage a mber of an ancient martial family for his execution.

"You underestimate Ding Fan," Wang Luohao lit a cigar, took a puff, and said indifferently. "A man who can cure terminal diseases and kill professional assassins with twigs; doesn't such a person deserve the price I am willing to pay to have a successor of ancient martial arts kill him?"

The man in the suit nodded thoughtfully. "Yes..."

Wang Luohao clamped the cigar in his mouth, his eyes glinting coldly. "Ding Fan, I may have underestimated you before, but this ti, you won't possibly be able to survive..."

...

After running wildly all morning, Ding Fan had approached the deeper parts of the forest.

Here, the trees grew tall and straight because they hadn't been cut down by humans for hundreds of years, and the leaves and branches were very thick. Although it was dayti, the sunlight could not penetrate, leaving the interior of the forest quite dark.

During his morning journey, Ding Fan killed several forest pythons as thick as water buckets, a few fierce boars, and even repelled a marbled tiger. In addition to these large beasts, Ding Fan had to contend with poisonous insects in nonstop attacks. It could be said that after entering the forest, dangers lurked everywhere.

By now, Ding Fan was no longer rushing as frantically as before. The closer he got to the heart of the forest, the more he could sense sothing amiss.

There was a form of invisible, oppressive power, replete with deadly threats. Without Divine Sense, Ding Fan had to tread carefully.

"Huh?" As he was walking, Ding Fan suddenly sensed the sound of footsteps not far away.

This was nearing the deeper parts of the forest; how could there be soone else here?

Out of curiosity, Ding Fan moved toward the direction of the footsteps. However, what puzzled him was that no matter how he moved, whether by sprinting or walking at a rapid pace, the footsteps seed perpetually a short distance ahead of him.

Ding Fan felt sothing strange and stopped, sitting down cross-legged.

At this mont, Ding Fan needed to calm his mind because only with a tranquil mind could what he saw be real.

After an unknown amount of ti had passed, Ding Fan slowly opened his eyes and carefully sensed his surroundings. To his astonishnt, he discovered he was in the very sa place where he first noticed the footsteps.

Considering that Ding Fan had run and walked briskly to investigate the footsteps—easily covering a dozen miles—it was baffling to find himself right back where he started.

"A formation?!" Ding Fan's eyes widened, and then he understood.

While it seed sowhat incredible, he was now almost certain that he was in an Illusionary Formation.

Illusionary Formations were sothing Ding Fan had only encountered a few tis in the Cultivation World. These formations weren't very useful in combat. Many powerful cultivators used them to conceal their dwellings or sect entrances to avoid disturbance from others.

But this was Earth; why would there be an Illusionary Formation here?

Could it be?

Ding Fan's eyes lit up. There had once been cultivators on Earth—whose relic was this?

The more Ding Fan thought about it, the more he believed it. If he could really find so scattered dicine Pills, or other Magical Treasures within these relics, it would be a true windfall.

In the Cultivation World, Ding Fan possessed extraordinary willpower and a keen ability to observe and search. Otherwise, as a Loose Cultivator, he wouldn't have been able to find high-grade Spirit Grass.

Ding Fan knew he was now trapped within an Illusionary Formation and couldn't escape. However, he didn't panic. Inside the formation, he kept walking back and forth, marking different spots.

Although Ding Fan was not a master of formations, he had studied them. After almost half a day, he eventually found the formation's eye. By destroying it, the Illusion Array was completely broken.

As the veil of the Illusionary Formation lifted, a cave appeared before Ding Fan, and beside it, there was a stele covered in moss. Three characters carved in seal script were written on it.

Immortal's Peak!

Without any hesitation, Ding Fan's figure flickered, and he entered the cave.

The cave angled downwards into the earth at a forty-degree incline. Because it was dark around, Ding Fan drew his Soft Sword right away, ready to react at a mont's notice should any situation arise.

After walking for ten minutes, Ding Fan found that the tunnel was no longer heading underground; it was now ascending toward the surface. And now, to Ding Fan's surprise, he could feel a wave of Spiritual Energy. The energy was incredibly pure, likely emanated by Spirit Grass.

Following the direction from which the Spiritual Energy ca, Ding Fan walked for another five or six minutes until a stone wall blocked his path.

The Spiritual Energy grew stronger, and Ding Fan was certain that the Spirit Grass was right behind the stone wall.

Without delay, Ding Fan began to excavate the stone wall with his Soft Sword. Fortunately, the wall was rely constructed and not bound by any Imprisonnt Array Formation, so after two hours, he eventually clawed out a hole large enough to crawl through.

"Ah? Soone's there!?"

Just as Ding Fan was preparing to crawl through, a surprised shout ca from the other side of the wall.

Ding Fan was also startled, as he hadn't expected to find soone on the other side.

Pop pop pop... Suddenly, a series of gunfire erupted. Ding Fan didn't hesitate and imdiately ducked to one side.

After the gunfire ceased, silence fell on the other side. Ding Fan didn't make a move. It wasn't until a while later that soone from the hole spoke up.

"Big Brother, did we kill that thing?" A trembling voice spoke, evidently scared.

"Big Brother, could it be a zombie? How could there be living people inside this Ancient Tomb..."

"You two go and check it out. No matter if it's a person or a ghost, just kill him!" A sowhat fierce voice responded.

From the conversation, Ding Fan had already deduced these were likely Tomb Robbers, but he was puzzled about how they had gotten here. He had struggled to enter after breaking the Illusion Array.

Hiss...

While Ding Fan was lost in thought, a grenade was thrown through the hole.

Ding Fan's brows instantly knit together. He was well aware of its imnse power—the enemy wanted to kill him.

Imdiately, Ding Fan leapt with an unbelievable angle, squeezing through the hole he had just made.

The three people who were talking were stunned. They couldn't fathom how soone could move in such a way. It was just a blur before Ding Fan stood before them.

Boom... The grenade that had been thrown before then exploded. The ground shook violently.

Ding Fan didn't wait for the three n to regain their balance. His Soft Sword had already thrust towards them.

Swish swish swish... With just three strokes, their throats were pierced. The three n couldn't believe they were dying, unable to comprehend that soone's sword could be so swift that they didn't even have the chance to draw their guns.

"Are you... human or ghost?" Not far away, a young man bound at the hands watched Ding Fan with terror.

Ding Fan cast a glance at the young man, who appeared to be just over twenty years old, with an unworldly aura about him, despite several cuts on his cheeks.

"I am human..." Ding Fan approached the young man and flicked his Soft Sword, severing the ropes binding his hands. "You are free to go."

The young man was taken aback. When Ding Fan had wielded his sword, he hadn't even glanced at him. Yet, he managed to precisely cut the ropes without harming him. 'What a masterful swordsmanship,' the man thought.

"Esteed senior, I beg you to save us..." Instead of choosing to leave, the young man knelt in front of Ding Fan.
