William went straight inside and flopped onto the bed, legs crossed. No way was he letting his troops catch him sucking on sothing that they don’t even know what it is, and start thinking that their lord has so kinky fetishes.
First things first, he pulled up the regional market to check on his sales. The Blooms were sold out first, 450 TP in the bag. The booze was also snatched up by soone nad ’AscendLikeMorningWood,’ who’d even left a ’Thanks Ancestor’ note.
The Snobtrox loot was gone too. The only crap left was the pile of trash Gnoblin loot; just the fangs had sold, claws still sitting there. With the 1100 TP left over from upgrades, his account jumped straight to 1785. William’s eyes glead as he looked at the total.
With this much TP, he could go for an SR draw, but that’d leave him with just 785, barely enough for blueprints later, and probably stuck with so reward that he couldn’t even use right away.
The best way to go would be big lot gacha: five rares, eleven commons, including today’s sign-in. This way, his odds would be way better. Plus, he still had three rares and a common saved up from the trial. It’s important to decide which gacha he wants to draw, since he’d only get five minutes of luck after the lolly.
With everything ready, he took the luck lolly out of his inventory. The thing was not small, six or seven inches of rainbow-colored ice on a stick, wrapped in so see-through wrapper. Red at the tip and violet at its base.
It was cold, and he could see a faint icy mist rising from it. "So, how should I do it? Should I first practice on a banana or soth—" He cut himself off, palm smacking his forehead. "God, what am I even thinking? That’s GAY. Not that I oppose anyone being gay, or a horse, a kebab, a toothbrush; it’s their choice, and I respect that."
"Alright, let’s get this over with. Rollie, start a nine-second tir the mont I start and keep the store items in inventory after the draw, just show their descriptions." With that, he peeled the wrapper away and, not wasting a fraction of a second, shoved the thing straight into his mouth. All six-plus inches, gone in one forced motion.
Gagh...
Cough... Cough... Cough.
He gagged as the lolly hit his uvula, but he didn’t stop. He kept the lolly moving with his right hand, the other clamped over his mouth to hide his sha from Rollie.
Of course, Rollie, not wasting this precious mont, was losing her files, cackling from her perfect top-down view.
Smack... Slurp...
Slurp... Slurp... Mmm!
He was sucking it down at an impressive eight sucks per second. The taste wasn’t bad either, sweet at the tip, sour near the base, close to fruity sour patch. By the fifth second, his mouth went completely numb from the cold, so he just sped up, working his way from eight to twelve sucks a second for the final stretch.
The lolly kept lting and started shrinking. Droplets hit his bed, but vanished a mont later, leaving no stains.
By the end of nine seconds, the lolly lted away, and the stick vanished from his hand.
"Hahhhh... Faabbb... Am nob oing shipp libe thab agaaaannn." William tried to talk, but his mouth was frozen, and his words ca out garbled. The Tower system pinged him with a notification the next second:
[Lucky Lolly has been used.]
[By the grace of the Goddess of Luck, Lord’s luck is increased to 88 for the next five minutes.]
As soon as the ssage flashed across his vision, he ntally called the command to use all four random draws he’d gotten from the trial. Instantly, the Tower system started popping up reward notifications, while Rollie showed their descriptions.

Both were skill draws. The first was a technique straight out of a cultivation manhua, and damn, it was a good one. He’d seen those protagonists fill the sky with blades, turning arrogant cultivators into minceat. With a smirk, he thought, ’That’s a keeper for sure.’
The second was a common skill; not much to say about it, but Nyx t all the requirents, so she would be getting this one. Then he looked at the other two draws.

The first one was a talisman, the kind of thing that makes your opponent say after their ultimate skill, ’How are you even breathing?’ It needed either Qi or Mana to use, which was a pain, but maybe he’d luck into one from the gacha.
The blueprint was even better. A training ground, sothing he desperately needed. The fairies always had to go down to the lower floors to practice their skills. With this arena, they could go wild right here on the lord’s floor. He glanced at the requirents and clicked his tongue. Absurd. And what the hell were space and barrier stones, anyway?
Not like he had ti to worry about it now. He checked the luck effect tir; there were just over four minutes left. It was now gacha turn. "Loolliii, Lol bann gaaacha barws annn hhhe free bne boo." His lips were still numb and swollen from the lolly, so all he could do was mumble as he tried to order up ten common draws and the daily freebie.
[Bhat Bear~ I can’b unbers—hehehe.]
Rollie didn’t even try to hide her glee. Hearing William mumble like a busted radio, she mimicked him, but her laugh broke the mimic halfway through.
William glared at her with killing intent. "Looliiii, bon’b paakk bihhh e, riggghh nwww annn loool..."
[Okay, love~ Stop spitting everywhere.]
