Chapter 1105: Chapter 149: Maybe I Don’t Like Fighting

In the small clear bar, the resident singer is performing the song “Black Rain.”

Many times, in order to dig up news, one would wander everywhere, but ultimately ing up empty-handed isn’t something unmon.

This place is about to be evacuated… the trio from the newspaper, who achieved nothing this night, plan to experience the exotic vibe here—essentially forming a team and ing to this small clear bar to indulge themselves a bit.

Inside the clear bar, mostly they’re outsiders… primarily colleagues of Ren Ziling.

It seems someone is considering whether to secretly bypass controlled areas and sneak into The Foggy Region—after all, the entire nation is paying attention to these events, and whoever obtains firsthand data might really reach the top.

Not only domestic counterparts, Ren Ziling even noticed several foreigners—it’s likely that a large batch of foreign media is on their way or already near The Foggy Region.

Ren Ziling even believes that those who first infiltrate the controlled area might very well be these foreign peers.

Unusually, this time Ren Ziling has no intention of rushing into the fog zone to uncover the truth, for a very simple reason—in one’s own domain, there’s always someone to cover for you; here, something happens, and it’s over for real.

——What about Luo Qiu after I’m gone? Who will pay the mortgage?

So… let’s have a drink!

“Sister Ren, you and Akiko wait here; I’m going to the restroom.” At this moment, Lizi stood up.

Ren Ziling, slightly tipsy, waved her hand at the words and her gaze wandered over the glass in front of her, “Be careful, don’t let the uncle selling skewers on the roadside kidnap you.”

Lizi rolled her eyes—even as a foodie, there are still standards, okay?

However, seeing Ren Ziling who really had a bit too much to drink, Lizi quietly advised Akiko before leaving—she didn’t head to the restroom but slipped out of the clear bar using a dead angle formed by the crowd.

The road outside the small town seemed a bit desolate.

After exiting, Lizi walked a loop and arrived at the alley behind the bar—she leaned against the alley wall, slowly unwrapped a lollipop’s packaging, then placed the milky white circle in her mouth.

Lizi slowly twisted the lollipop stick, and sucking sounds gently echoed.

After a while, Lizi looked into the depths of the alley, “Followed me for so long, still not planning to show yourself?”

From the depths of the alley, a tall figure slowly emerged—Wang Hu, missing an arm.

He slowly walked up to Lizi, gazing intently.

Lizi had to look up to clearly see Wang Hu’s full appearance, her eyebrows furrowed, “Didn’t I say not to follow?”

Wang Hu shook his head—in fact, he couldn’t think of a reason for tailing her; he merely sensed that this petite girl was of his kind.

Or roughly, this petite girl exuded something greatly familiar to him—even though it was faint.

Wang Hu said nothing, which made Lizi’s eyebrows furrow tighter, “I’m seriously warning you, Sister Ren is very important to me; if you dare do something to her, be careful I’ll eat you!”

Lizi opened her mouth and made a super ferocious face.

Wang Hu shook his head, “I don’t intend to harm your friend, it’s just… just somewhat unsure what to do next. You have something on you that feels very familiar to me.”

Lizi frowned at this guy—she knew what Wang Hu meant by familiar things—it was her deliberately weakly emitted demonic power.

On this path, there were plenty of evil spirits; Lizi continuously emitted her aura simply to intimidate those fearless little monsters and little demons, avoiding trouble.

“Really can’t remember anything? About the past?” Lizi looked at Wang Hu suspiciously.

In this era, can monsters also experience forgetfulness?

What kind of shock did this guy endure to forget everything?

Wang Hu still shook his head.

After pondering for a moment, Lizi said, “Fine, even if you’re amnesiac, it’s not my duty to care for you… Besides, from your abilities, it seems even without care, you wouldn’t starve to death… what’s your true form?”

“True form?” Wang Hu was startled, curiously asked, “What’s a true form?”

“I’m asking you!” Lizi rolled her eyes… This guy’s forgetfulness level makes him unable to recall even his true form?”

“I really can’t remember.” Wang Hu shook his head.

“Can’t remember?” Lizi coldly chuckled, “Can’t remember, then what’s the story with the dead inside? Isn’t it because you were hungry and looking for food?”

Wang Hu shook his head, “It wasn’t me. When I arrived, the ones inside were already dead.”

Lizi intensely examined Wang Hu’s expressions until judging his gaze was genuinely candid, then frowned and walked deeper into the alley.

ing here, acknowledging Wang Hu’s emitted monster’s aura, and secondly, due to the thick scent of blood in the air.

As she walked closer, illuminates her phone’s flashlight, she saw a shriveled, discarded body lying on the ground.

Wang Hu had now e behind Lizi.

Lizi glanced back at Wang Hu, then crouched down and began inspecting the corpse.

“Blood is pletely drained, even the essence qi is exhausted.” Lizi turned over the body’s neck and saw a bloody bite mark, this corpse even exuded a chill.

Lingering in the air, it seemed there’s another monster’s aura, distinct from Wang Hu’s.

“Which guy is so inconsiderate, prey like this so openly…” Lizi stood up, then raised her head, looking above the alley.

Pfft——!

A silhouette fell from above at this moment, directly crashing onto the ground—falling atop the corpse.

A similarly shriveled appearance.

Not just a solitary corpse… At this point, one corpse after another began dropping from above, Lizi retreated a few steps, while the dried corpses accumulated to five.

Lastly, a shadow fell—Lizi eventually got a clear view.

A young man with a face full of frost—this young man was currently holding a young woman, biting her neck, and blood was flowing out from her neck… The woman’s body convulsed, her face twisted with fear and terror.

The man with a face full of frost threw the woman to the ground, his gaze chillingly scanning around, his mouth even expelling a thick cold mist.

“Are monsters now ‘eating’ so blatantly?”

Feeling the severe madness and killing intent from this frosty-faced guy, Lizi flipped her palm, and several sharp ice spikes were already clamped between her fingers.

“Mind your own business… I don’t mind eating one more.” The frosty-faced young man sneered, “Or perhaps two!”

“This guy…” Lizi muttered, “Could it be he’s overdosed on drugs?”

Just as Lizi was thinking about how to lure this guy away—at least to avoid causing a scene in this place—the frosty-faced guy’s expression suddenly changed drastically.

“Emperor… Emperor Bofu?”

It turned out that at this moment, Wang Hu stepped forward a couple of steps, emerging from the shadows, revealing his face—and only then did the frosty-faced young man see Wang Hu’s true appearance.

Lizi clearly saw the wary look in this young man’s eyes, and couldn’t help but whisper, “You know him? What did he just call you?”

Wang Hu shook his head, staring at the blood-sucking young man before him, frowning, “Do you know who I am?”

The frosty-faced young man’s expression froze, looking oddly at Wang Hu’s current appearance—missing one arm.

Wang Hu before him looked exactly like the Young Master of the White Tiger Clan he knew, but strangely, if this was indeed the Young Master he knew, he shouldn’t appear so dull—Emperor Bofu always held a tyrannical and brutal image in the demon world of China.

“Of course I know you,” the young man said gravely, “Among all the demon clans in the world, I’m afraid few do not know you… Young Master, I was just here to eat a few humans and had no intention of offending you… or your friend, so I take my leave now!”

Saying this, the frosty-faced young man began to retreat slowly—currently, he had no reason to clash with the White Tiger Young Master before him.

While at the Penglai Treasury, to survive, he did not hesitate to devour the corpses of many Dao monsters, which included members of the White Tiger Clan—a major taboo. If exposed, he would likely bee an object of collective pursuit and elimination by the Dao and Demon Realms.

But Emperor Bofu had not made a move from the start, possibly because he had not discovered it yet.

“Wait!”

But Wang Hu forgot his past memories—this state wasn’t good, and encountering someone who recognized him was rare, so how could he let him go easily?

Wang Hu suddenly rushed out… with a wave of his hand, he directly grabbed the young man’s shoulder.

This action greatly frightened the young man, instantly overturning his assumption that Emperor Bofu might still be unaware that he had devoured members of the White Tiger Clan.

In desperation, the young man punched Wang Hu’s chest.

This punch unleashed all potential for survival—the cold attached to his fist instantly froze the entire alley!

But Wang Hu was directly sent flying from the young man’s punch, landing on the ground—Wang Hu climbed back up, but blood was seeping from the corner of his mouth.

“This…” The young man looked at the blood-stained Emperor Bofu with disbelief—if word spread, him punching the White Tiger Young Master flying, no one would likely believe it.

Since waking up, he had lost the Scorching Power of the Vermilion Bird Clan, but a power much stronger than it seemed to have been born—a feeling of being reborn, making him feel much stronger than before.

But apparently, this strength was still insufficient when facing the White Tiger Young Master—Emperor Bofu had the unparalleled power to render the prior Azure Dragon Clan Leader bedridden.

“Why are you so weak?”

“I just want to ask you something.” Wang Hu endured the punch, feeling quite terrible, yet unable to muster the will to raise his fist—for some reason, Wang Hu felt a strong aversion to raising his fist, “I can’t seem to remember past events. What did you just call me? Do you recognize me?”

“You…” The young man opened his mouth in surprise, his mind racing, the real Emperor Bofu would not possibly be so easy to talk to—could it be that this guy missing an arm merely resembled Emperor Bofu closely, but was in fact someone else?

Indeed, the young man did not sense the domineering aura of Emperor Bofu on Wang Hu—considering his attendance at the Penglai Conference and seeing Emperor Bofu at the Kun Peng Mountain Villa as a frontline general, the current figure seemed more like a deserter.

Since awakening, his temperament had drastically changed… At this moment, he gritted his teeth and suddenly punched Wang Hu again.

Only to see Wang Hu instinctively retract his arm, further clenching his fist—his gaze instantly became incredibly sharp.

However, just as the young man’s punch approached, a painful look flashed across Wang Hu’s eyes, and at the same moment, his fist loosened!

The young man’s fist slammed hard into Wang Hu’s face—this punch directly broke Wang Hu’s nose!

He really didn’t fight back!

This sight ignited the savagery within the young man, like an explosive; his fists rained down on Wang Hu like a storm, causing Wang Hu to spew blood violently.

Seeing this, Lizi felt uneasy, and the ice spikes between her fingers shot out instantly.

The young man snorted coldly, waved his hand, directly shattering several of the ice spikes—but Lizi only did so to divert his attention.

Lizi waved her palm at Wang Hu, and a white ribbon shot out from her sleeve, wrapping around Wang Hu and pulling him right to her side.

Possibly having spent too much time with Ren Ziling, Lizi cursed, “Idiot! Are you a punching bag? You clearly clenched your fist, why didn’t you hit!”

“I don’t know… once I clench my fist, I feel a sense of extreme disgust.” Wang Hu shook his head, “Maybe I don’t like fighting.”

At this point, Lizi forcefully tapped Wang Hu on the head, “You idiot! If you won’t use your fist, won’t you use your palm!”

“Palm?” Wang Hu was stunned.

At this moment, the young man evidently was not planning to give Lizi and Wang Hu more time to talk—he needed a substantial amount of blood and flesh, only by consuming massive amounts could he suppress the cold within and enhance his power, and the two monsters before him were evidently excellent ‘food’!!

“Whether you are Emperor Bofu or not, you must die!” The young man now displayed a maniacal grin, rushing forward once again.

And at this moment, Wang Hu suddenly jolted, his tree-thick arm swung instantaneously, his palm slapped the young man directly!

The speed was such that it was invisible—at least Lizi only saw a shadow flash by.

Boom——!!

The young man’s body was instantly slammed into the ground… the concrete floor cracked open instantly.

Lizi widened her eyes… Did he really use a palm strike?
