Chapter 1161: Chapter 2: Intervention

Abyssal Asuras, some have only heard of them, some have participated in the crusades against them… If the gaps between dimensions are likened to a new mainland, then to the Transcendents, the Void Primordial Demons are akin to the Natives of this new mainland.

The Abyssal Asuras are probably equivalent to tribal leaders among these Natives’ tribes.

Powerful Abyssal Asuras can easily tear apart Transcendents; only seasoned Transcendents have means to counter Abyssal Asuras… but it also depends on the abilities of the Abyssal Asura itself.

In parison, the dimensional gap is quite fair, offering various blessings to later Transcendents, let alone the Elemental Demons who originally dwell in the dimensional gap.

Before the Transcendents, there appeared memory images self-extracted by Solomon, bearing traces suspected to be of the ‘Abyssal Asura’.

These Transcendents, each being a transcendent figure in various fields, possess keen insight… Thus, they can easily sense the trembling of the Ancestral Void Demon in Solomon’s extracted memory.

“This Ancestral Spirit must have just been born, though far beyond ordinary Elemental Demons, it hasn’t yet reached the normal level of an Ancestral Spirit. So it may not necessarily be an Abyssal Asura; a strong Ancestral Void Demon could also make it tremble.”

The voice came from a shadowy figure.

But its body was not entirely dark; the shadow bore multiple swirling light circles resembling nebulas… It was a seasoned Transcendent who had participated in the early war of annihilation against the ‘Abyssal Asuras’.

It gave its opinion.

“It’s been a long time since the last war. The Abyssal Asuras have mostly been wiped out in that battle; if any remained, they should be hiding deep within the gaps by now… Moreover, the Garden of the Fallen is our domain. If an Abyssal Asura were to appear or be born, the Thrones should sense it.”

This viewpoint quickly gained affirmation among many seasoned Transcendents—while for those Transcendents who have never truly fought an Abyssal Asura, they wouldn’t negligently participate in such discussions.

To know or not to know, these individuals, transcending in various domains, possess an inherent pride and won’t speak carelessly to attract attention and invite ridicule.

Yet, the discussion about ‘Abyssal Asuras’ ended there… Transcendents only find Abyssal Asuras interesting, being in the dimensional gap, with no easy access to various spaces, some remaining homebound, almost growing moldy.

Summoning all Transcendents is difficult for a single Throne… Particularly Archimedes, belonging to the Science Side Throne, holds little appeal for the mysterious Transcendent Side.

The reason quite a few Transcendents could be gathered this time is naturally because Noah, the only one capable of steering the Ark, went missing—yet the primary reason is: many Transcendents have been languishing.

Much preparation is needed before setting off—evidently, before this, the Thrones had pleted the preparations… For the languishing Transcendents, the only two actions left were to smile and wage war.

A seductive man in a bright red robe suddenly arrived, catching Fish Ball Qiang’s attention for a moment—if not for Musashi saying he was a man, Fish Ball Qiang might have succumbed—naturally, Transcendents generally are extraordinarily beautiful beings.

Longyang… the name of the seductively robed man.

His arrival seemed to be for a conversation with Zang Jian.

What surprised Fish Ball Qiang was that the young lady from the collector family, usually cold to everyone, rose to salute Lord Longyang.

“Lord Longyang, what brings you to Zang Jian?” The young lady not only bowed first but did so with unexpected respect.

“Young girl Zang Jian, as I’ve said countless times, you and I are transcendents of the same world, equals.” Lord Longyang extended a hand to help Zang Jian up.

Yet the young lady seemed firm in her stance, calmly saying, “You, my Lord, are of the same generation as my family’s second ancestor; Zang Jian must observe the junior’s courtesy.”

Fish Ball Qiang vaguely overheard something… It seemed many of these Transcendents originate from different times, yet some e from the same time… like Zang Jian and Lord Longyang?

Lord Longyang couldn’t change Zang Jian’s nature, pondering a moment before saying, “Young girl Zang Jian, you are the Guardian of the Palace of Eternal Night in the Garden of the Fallen, overseeing all portals leading to the Garden, our first stop… lately, are there any new faces?”

“Please clarify specifically.”

Lord Longyang thought for a while and said, “They might not be those led by us, possibly accidental entrants or those who came by choice due to their strength. They should be from relatively modern times… hmm, around 2000 AD. I know Taibai, and when I spoke to someone, they mentioned Taibai was around a thousand years before them.”

Zang Jian was silent for a moment before saying, “I have no impression. Recently, apart from newers we led, there was only one who accidentally intruded into the Palace of Eternal Night, transmitted unexpectedly due to finding Master Dong’s token.”

Lord Longyang casually glanced at Fish Ball Qiang behind him, “Picked up Dong Zhuo’s token? A truly lucky guy… Young girl Zang Jian, if you haven’t seen them, let’s leave it at that. They might still be wandering within the gap, yet to find the existence of the Garden of the Fallen.”

“It would help if my Lord could describe this person’s features, Zang Jian will notify upon encounter.”

Lord Longyang waved his hand and said, “No need, if fate wills it, we shall meet again… For now, let’s plete this mission. The helmsman of the Ark is missing; this is troublesome for most of us as well.”

Zang Jian nodded, then returned to her meditation.

Meanwhile, Fish Ball Qiang sensed an unusual aura slowly flowing among the group, and around… it felt as though his body suddenly grew much heavier but then quickly became light again.

Fish Ball Qiang saw a flash of bright light before his eyes… after the flash, he no longer saw the peculiar dimness of the dimensional gap, but… light.

“Try to stay close to me or Zang Jian; the time for this interference is limited. We may linger for no more than half an hour.”

Fish Ball Qiang felt a forceful pat on his back by Musashi, who then asked puzzled, “Why?”

“The longer the time, the more disadvantageous it bees for us; after the interference time, we weaken.” Musashi followed up, slowly drawing a katana from his waist, “Ready!”

Fish Ball Qiang shivered suddenly.

He looked up.

In the light, he saw the vast land of clouds piling up… the light illuminated every place here, and at this moment, countless Angels descended from the light.

“Exiles of the world… why invade my Lord’s Heaven.”

Bathed in shimmering golden light, holding a scepter, a six-winged Angel clad in simple robes and barefoot, with light circles around, appeared before them… The glory of Holy Light seemed to make one forget the malice within the heart instantly.

“It appeared so quickly… Archangel Leader, Gabriel.”

The Transcendents’ side, opposite them, stood a young man in silver-white armor, a red cloak, and golden hair.

Fish Ball Qiang didn’t know how the strengths among these Transcendents were distinguished—yet at this moment, describing it as a hierarchy seems apt.

For example, Dong Zhuo, like a mountain of flesh, Lord Longyang who chats with the little Zang Jian, and Zang Jian herself, stood at the forefront of the first echelon.

As for Daji, Master Musashi, and that bearded man named Oda, they were positioned a bit further back… considered the second tier?

But the blonde youth conversing with the six-winged Angel in the robe, his strength is unknown… Just that the surrounding Transcendents call him Charlemagne… the Lionheart King.

“Exiles of the mainland, please leave my Lord’s heaven immediately.”

Facing a group of imposing Transcendents, Gabriel, the Archangel Leader, remained calm, showing neither fear nor anger.

“Gabriel, we’re here to take Noah. Hand him over, and we’ll leave without any fuss,” said the Lionheart King from above, his red cloak flowing in the breeze.

“Noah is a sinner of heaven and needs to be judged here,” Gabriel replied indifferently.

The Lionheart King laughed, “Then there’s nothing to talk about. If you won’t hand him over, we’ll take him by force… No more words needed, I’ve long wanted a bout with you!”

Gabriel waved his hand, and a Holy Light streaked from the Scepter in his hand. The Lionheart King swung his arm down fiercely!

The powerful force collided with the Holy Light, unleashing shockwaves that whipped up a storm… Yet the Transcendents behind remained unmoved, like a breeze sweeping by.

“Gabriel, do you think you alone, alongside these puppet angels, can stop us?” The Lionheart King sneered.

Bang—!

Just as the Lionheart King finished speaking, a terrifying flame erupted from the rear of the Transcendents… Dozens of pillars of fire shot into the sky, splitting a part of the Transcendent ranks.

At the same time, a trace of purple-white light soared from the flames… It was a peculiar Angel with purple fire swirling around its body, and wings also formed of purple fire.

“The Flame of God… Uriel?!”

The flaming Angel known as Uriel had equally picturesque features. As it waved its hand, the purple pillars of fire twisted, breaking the ranks of the Transcendents once more.

“Gabriel, I’ve said many times, for these exiled sinners, no need to waste words… Those who dare invade heaven shall feel the wrath of the Holy Flame!”

Heaven… At least the heaven familiar to mortals was home to many renowned, powerful angels.

The Archangel Leader and the Flame of God here were just a part of heaven… Above the clouds in the kingdom of heaven, there are even more powerful angels, including the Saint Heir.

The Lionheart King snorted coldly and shouted, “Everyone… Charge in altogether! This mission, prioritize finding Noah!”

With the Lionheart King’s mand, over a dozen figures from the first tier instantly rushed towards the kingdom of heaven above the clouds!

Gabriel snorted coldly, wielding the Scepter again but couldn’t hold back the dozen figures all at once… It managed to intercept only three, while the others plunged straight into the angelic army.

Like a Treasured Sword slicing through decayed wood, the Transcendents rushing toward heaven each left a terrifying blood-stained path… A vast number of Lower-Tier Angels had already lost their bodies in the blink of an eye.

The fallen Lower-Tier Angels turned into light and returned to heaven… Under the Holy Light of heaven, numerous angels appeared again.

Beneath heaven, the enormous sky instantly transformed into a massive battlefield!

Meanwhile, the Lionheart King was already charging towards Gabriel…

“Damn… These Angels are way harder than Elemental Demons!”

Dodging left and right, nearly getting battered by two Lower-Tier Angels, Fish Ball Qiang found heaven above the clouds unattainable… He struggled just to manage these two Lower-Tier Angels.

“So, pleased with this new map?”

Musashi was always by Fish Ball Qiang’s side, only swinging the katana in his hand when Fish Ball Qiang was about to falter—usually taking down an Angel with a single effortless strike.

But Musashi didn’t participate in the great battle, merely trailing behind Fish Ball Qiang… Fish Ball Qiang felt that Master Musashi definitely had the capability to be in the first tier, yet he remained nonchalant.

“Master Musashi, why are there never-ending Angels?”

“These Lower-Tier Angels are bat puppets created by heaven; there aren’t actually many true Angels,” Musashi said, rubbing his chin. “Lower-Tier Angels are endless; as long as the master of heaven remains, they can be continually produced… Though we have individually strong capabilities, a prolonged battle would ultimately wear us down. This time Archimedes needed to intervene personally, meaning he likely won’t take action. So, we’re on our own against the master of heaven.”

“C-can we win?” Fish Ball Qiang swallowed nervously.

Musashi shrugged, “What are you thinking? The master of heaven is superior to several Thrones bined~”

“Then how can we fight?” Fish Ball Qiang couldn’t help wearing a bitter expression.

“That’s why we have a plan…” Musashi squinted his eyes, “It’s about time, isn’t it? After capturing so many of those things…”

In an instant, Fish Ball Qiang thought of the Dimensional Rift filled with endless creatures… Void Primordial Demons!

The strange, terrifying sounds of Strange Beasts erupted abruptly…

In the kingdom of heaven, where sweetness and fragrance lingered everywhere… Noah, left here, looked upward.

“My panions have e for me… Father.”

Noah did not turn around, behind him It remained seated calmly on the ground.

Noah lowered his gaze, “Will you let me go… Father, if you don’t act personally, my panions might be hard to resist. Some of them are rather rough.”

It slowly opened Its eyes and quietly said, “Heaven… has its own Guardians. As long as your Thrones don’t intervene, I will not intervene either.”

Noah’s expression grew a bit more serious.

Because in this radiant, holy land, a black mist was slowly forming and gathering, “Oh? God… I’m charging admission to this scene, next time when my boss es to collect, I won’t forget…”
