Chapter 1395: Chapter 122: Birth

They are bloodsuckers.

They are devils… the origin of all this pain.

They should be killed… no, at least from the beginning, these two bloodsuckers should have been pletely tied up, with ropes… ropes won’t work, iron chains are necessary.

Tie a circle… no, two circles, three circles.

Or.

Or kill… kill them.

If they could be killed… if they could be killed, Amanda wouldn’t have been taken hostage, and I wouldn’t be in danger.

Why didn’t I do that, why didn’t I do that… why didn’t I think of that.

Ann felt her heart leap out in an instant, her mind nearly stalled — cold sweat, a plete lack of strength, her legs felt as if they had taken root.

She didn’t even dare to meet the gaze of these two bloodsuckers directly, she averted her eyes, her gaze met the eyes of the other women… these eyes seemed to have undergone some changes.

They were not particularly dull and hollow, instead… they became terrified—terrified of the two bloodsuckers in front, who only exposed their sharp fangs, eyes being somewhat sharper.

Trembling… fear began to spread like a plague among these women.

They abruptly held themselves tightly, shivering, curling up… after curling up, trembling even more intensely, as if trapped in a sunless dried-up well for a year, three years… ten years, suddenly seeing the sunlight at the opened well mouth’s… terror.

Just like them…

Me.

I’m just like them, exactly the same… even if I hadn’t suffered these torments in this milking factory, I’m just like them.

Since the day when all beauty shattered, since the first time I left the dreamlike beautiful Farm, after seeing the Revolutionaries executed, after occasionally seeing the fate of those not excellent enough to stay in the Farm… the terror of bloodsuckers was already deeply etched into the entire mind.

Faced with those men from the Inspection Group who wanted to violate me, I could utter the most vicious curses.

Faced with David, a fellow human, I could unhesitatingly attack from behind.

But when facing bloodsuckers, even eliminating, killing… harming, I didn’t subconsciously even think about.

Can’t raise the slightest courage to resist… even if I had such thoughts, I only did some things teetering on the edge.

On one hand wanting to escape from this nightmare, on the other yet unable to do anything.

Can one person really do anything?

Hmph——!

That was the cold snort from one of the bloodsuckers… their speed was as fast as ever.

Ann knew, their speed was like this fast, like ghosts. Its fingers were together, the palm like a sharp spike, fiercely stabbing toward her… Ann’s pupils suddenly contracted.

She thought of resistance… she felt she should be able to resist.

She thought of the ring on her hand, it contained many useful things—but what to use?

No time to think, she instinctively raised her arm, and the intense pain already started spreading from her body… the bloodsucker’s hand, sharp like a spike, directly pierced through her abdomen.

Twisting once then pulling out… Ann painfully held the wound on her abdomen with both hands, collapsing onto the ground. She thought she should have opened her mouth wide, but why could she not utter a cry of pain.

Her throat, like it was pletely blocked, her whole body started convulsing… lying on the ground, her sight only capable of looking upwards.

Blood, dripping from the bloodsucker’s hand… that was her own blood.

A bit farther, Amanda suddenly collapsed on the ground, dazed… breaking down, suddenly clutching her head, howling hoarsely.

The bloodsucker seemed to have said something… what did it say?

Couldn’t hear anymore…

Even the usually favorite delusions seemed unable to move.

——Ah, just going to exit like this, ever since being an adult, I don’t even know if life is life.

Sight starting to blur… darken… blackness.

Couldn’t see anything.

As expected, just myself, nothing can be done?

If only I had known… wouldn’t have used the anesthesia gun, used something that can kill them. Anything… as long as it can kill them.

No more chances, right…

Sorry, Amanda… I am no God, just a useless human being who speaks better than does.

——If you had another chance, what would you do?

Another chance… how is that possible.

——Would you really plan to defy destinies, and not just think about it?

Maybe… probably.

Mm… whose voice is it… seems like his voice…

Is it the final auditory hallucination before death, or something else…

——Then… go, once again.

He said so.

But, once again… what?

Suddenly woke up, like having a long dream, air instantly filled the lungs, Ann opened her eyes.

The ground was still cold and sticky—the tactile sensation after her own blood filled every gap between her cheek and the ground.

The abdominal pain was gone, even the wound had disappeared.

She was still in this bottom-up perspective, the difference was, Amanda was now being lifted by the neck by one of the bloodsuckers.

“You acted too fast, at least you should have asked what method this woman used to restore these women.”

“How could I know it’d kill so easily? But if you want to know, just ask this one, isn’t that fine?”

“Really messy… huh, where’s that woman’s body?”

They both looked towards the place where Ann had fallen… on the ground, there was only a pool of blood now!

“What’s going on?”

They suddenly exchanged a glance… then felt that a huge danger seemed to be approaching, but before they could react, a loud sound exploded in their ears instantly.

One of the bloodsuckers’ head directly exploded at this moment… collapsing, turning into a headless corpse, twitching, then motionless.

The lowest level bloodsucker could not survive a head blow like the more advanced patrol team bloodsuckers, who could still survive briefly and recover with supplementation—as it just died like this.

The remaining bloodsucker suddenly let go of Amanda and rushed toward a place in the factory—it planned to sound the alarm!

Bang—Bang—Bang—!

Three successive loud sounds, the bloodsucker rushing to the alarm had both arms and its left leg… directly shattered after these sounds, as if blasted apart!

It fell to the ground, crying out in agony… its twisted face like a beast near death—it hadn’t even seen where the enemy was.

But the feeling is that the enemy is right in front… There is a faint sound of a heartbeat, appearing in front of me!

Finally, it saw Ann once again… the woman who should have died from having her body pierced at the beginning.

Like a painting by a painter, Ann gradually appeared in the three-dimensional world… She slowly lifted the cloak on her body, finally being three-dimensional.

Her right hand was holding a peculiar firearm, like an old gun… still emitting a thin wisp of smoke.

Blood still clung to half of Ann’s face, it’s her own blood, staining half of her face and her lips.

“You… why…”

Ann did not speak, the firearm kept pointing at the severely injured vampire, then slowly retreated… retreated to Amanda’s side.

Amanda’s originally dazed eyes gradually gained color, no time to speak.

Ann walked behind Amanda, grabbed her hand, holding onto the gun in her hand — they both firmly gripped the old gun together.

Aim — Focus —

In a soft whisper by her ear: “Now, I am your God.”

Ann led Amanda and directly pulled the trigger… Bang—!!

On the ground, the dying vampire, instantly had its chest blown open by the bullet shot from the gun… turning into a pile of burnt-smelling flesh.

Hoo—!!

Taking a long breath, Ann subconsciously looked at her abdomen — if her clothes weren’t torn, just looking at the intact skin, not even she would believe it had ever been pierced.

But now…

Ann gently covered her abdomen, she could feel that it was truly healed — only, when her eyes unintentionally fell upon the ring on her finger, she noticed the gem which once glowed light green was now pletely dimmed.

The brightness… seems to have been consumed.

Ann couldn’t help but wonder — was it because the brightness was consumed that she resurrected, or was there another reason?

And the last voice she heard, was it an illusion, or…

She shook her head, temporarily dispersed these chaotic thoughts from her mind, and shifted her gaze to Amanda… At this moment, Amanda was still holding the gun, sitting on the ground, maintaining the position she had while shooting.

“Did you see it?” Ann took a deep breath, and said to Amanda: “Killing a vampire… you did it! We did it together, it’s not as difficult as imagined.”

Amanda responded to Ann’s words, subconsciously raising her head.

Ann looked at her, revealing a smile, “You were braver than me earlier… We survived, didn’t we?”

“That’s… ” Amanda moved her lips, murmured: “That’s the voice, my goddess…”

Ann only felt a sudden warmth from the ring in her hand… the gem which had bee pletely dim, started to glow slightly again, but this time only to a faint red degree.

This warmth felt like some sort of stimulus… Ann shuddered, subconsciously looked at the other women besides Amanda.

Found that their gazes began to undergo some changes.

“Stand up!” Ann blurted out, the next words weren’t formulated in her heart at all, just simply came out, “Stand up! I give you weapons! Follow me… I’ll lead you out!”

She bit her lip, vehemently waved the hand that bore the ring… instantly, dozens of weapons were thrown onto the ground.

“Pick them up, follow me… I’ll lead you out!”

“Are vampires dreadful?”

“Terrifying! I don’t even have half the courage to resist… so I died! I died once! And then I killed them! Two of them, at that! So… stand up!”

“Follow me, I’ll lead you out!”

“Stand up!”

“Stand up!”

Amanda, stood up, tightly gripping the gun in her hand, like a seedling breaking through the soil… stood up.

Behind Amanda, a woman’s gaze suddenly cleared, she stood from her chair, but due to being inactive too long… fell straight onto the ground when she stood.

Yet, she did not give up, struggling… struggling, fiercely — Amanda walked over, helped her up.

God—!

A more powerful warmth began to flow into Ann’s body from the ring — she felt enveloped by warm water, the faint red gem began to constantly change colors… acpanied by woman after woman standing up from the chairs that once devoured their lives.

God—!

Ann heard many voices… as if it was these women’s heart voices… or maybe just her own illusion.

However… can it be done this time?

Not just wishful thinking, but by taking action… Ann looked at these women standing once more around her, smiled, “Follow me… I’ll lead you out.”

God—!

It was their silent voices… their faith in her.

God—!

“A wonderful sound.”

Farm.

Luo Boss, gazing at Farm Town’s streets, had his hand placed near his ear, listening to the winds bringing something.

“Fire, once ignited, will continue to burn, won’t it?” Luo Qiu chuckled, “Isn’t the first God perhaps born like this…”

“Master?”

At this moment, the voice of the Maid echoed in Luo Boss’s ear.

The Maid was still in the room of the mansion, creating the background of Beastmen entering the game world — currently writing about the Evil Dragon from the Far East being besieged by furious Beastmen.

“Anything wrong?” Luo Qiu asked in his heart.

“Nothing much, just suddenly felt a hint of Divinity being born, though… very faint.” The Maid’s voice was a bit uncertain: “Was this your doing, master?”

“It’s somewhat unexpected, but sometimes unexpected gains bring delightful surprises,” Luo Boss laughed, “I’m just unsure, if this surprise can be sustained… I probably need a little while longer to return.”

“Before the master returns, I’ll plete writing the background for the Beastmen.”

Luo Qiu smiled, “The story of the Evil Dragon?”

“A bit.”

The Maid’s voice carried a bit of playful tone.

Luo Boss chuckled, and then temporarily severed munication with the Maid.

His gaze… David and Meila had arrived at the entrance to the sewer leading to the Breeding Farm.

His gaze began to fill with anticipation, “Wonder if there’s more surprises.”
