Chapter 862: Chapter 106: The Fool Disappears Where the Sun Rises

Hidden within this city are a total of seventy-nine demons—of course, these demons aren’t entirely pure; some are actually the offspring born from the union of demons and humans.

Just as heaven weles devout believers, Hell also entices humans into depravity.

Charlotte bears the mandate of the Queen of Hell, and Lord Lucifer, seated on one of Hell’s thrones, naturally mands influence over demons.

After Charlotte took over the ‘White Hell’ Bar, she had her demons swiftly dig out a considerable space beneath the bar.

In the dead of night, when the stars and moons ruled the dark side of the earth, Charlotte stood at the center of this vast underground space.

She cradled her Crystal Ball in her hands, standing atop circles posed of strange characters. To others, these markings appeared to form an incredibly elaborate magic circle.

At that moment, demons gathered from outside the circle, each walking to the outermost edge, slicing open their wrists or tearing open their chests to inject their blood into the circle’s grooves.

Each demon sacrificed at least half of their blood, as manded by Charlotte—the demons’ Life and strength largely derive from their blood. Such an amount is akin to harvesting almost half their Life.

A loss unbearable for any demon. They didn’t know how long it would take to replenish this expenditure, but undoubtedly, they couldn’t defy Charlotte’s mand.

Who made her able to reach Lord Lucifer’s secret cache, touching upon the Throne Power of the Sin of Pride, one of the Seven Monarchs of Hell?

Despite reluctance, each demon, or demon offspring, orderly offered their blood—in such a blood sacrifice, the Throne of Hell and the Power of Sin of Pride could be summoned.

Charlotte sought to harness the Throne’s Power to augment her divination abilities—she truly felt those two Transcendents couldn’t be relied upon at all.

In fact, Charlotte was well aware of her divination’s nature, often yielding opposite results—so she might as well prepare for the reverse of the divination’s oute.

At worst, after the matter concluded, she could kill all the demons that knew the secret, ensuring her reputation…self-deception? I’m a Devil!

An increasingly vast Power began to surge into Charlotte’s body through the blood sacrifice, supporting her use of the ultimate divination Magic.

“Almost there… give me some more fresh blood! Whoever’s slow, I’ll throw them to feed Cerberus!”

Charlotte didn’t have just one Cerberus; she actually had another one named Qiao Qiao.

Better to be a little weaker than to bee Cerberus Qiao Qiao’s fodder. Demons are astute creatures, adept at weighing pros and cons; in their powerful yet timid nature, their deceitful and greedy essence harbors cowardice.

A female demon, with a pale face and enduring pain, sliced open her wrist again—being the offspring of an Enchanting Succubus, she had half human blood; this kind of blood sacrifice was truly exhausting her lifeforce.

Fortunately, always working as a model provided her with abundant resources of men… This half-human, half-demon was already considering how many lovers she should find to replenish herself after the ceremony.

That football player she recently met seemed promising, not only handsome but also very strong—he should be able to sustain for a while… Perhaps due to the Enchanting Succubus blood in her acting up, she suddenly felt a heat rising from her body.

Odd, the vision seemed suddenly cut?

This half-human half-demon Enchanting Succubus didn’t realize the division in her vision was simply because her body suddenly split into two halves, each collapsing for unknown reasons—she wouldn’t understand why, as she was dead within that instant.

The divided corpse seemed to be incinerated, emitting thick black smoke, but within seconds, only a pile of ashes remained on the ground.

The shocking turn instantly made the surrounding demons grow fierce, ready to shred apart any intruder—a vehemence that, seconds later, transformed into terror. For they saw their Destiny’s strongest adversary—Angels from heaven.

Not just ordinary Angels, but high-ranking Angels, Seraphs with six wings.

Each feather on the Seraph’s wings contained Divine Power unbearable to demons—moreover, it was part of the pinnacle within the Angelic hierarchy.

God’s Left… doom’s messenger, Gabriel!

“This is… God’s Left! How did it appear here!”

Soon an ancient demon recognized this Angel, whose beauty defied gender distinctions—naturally, demons knew well Angels were inherently genderless. Yet, residing long among humans, they had grown accustomed to associating such beauty with femininity.

Generally, even a male who was this handsome might tempt certain lustful demons.

Even lacking gender with no reproductive system, or not needing food hence no digestion system, there were still lips capable of speaking beautiful words!

“The sins here shall be cleansed by me.”

Gabriel simply stated—a ‘Father’ directed it east to a monastery in search of the fallen Star of the Morning Dawn; but before that, it couldn’t ignore such an assembly of demons.

In fact, purging the demons here wouldn’t take much of its time.

A massive surge of Holy Light instantly illuminated the entire underground. Under the glow of one of the Angels closest to God, weaker demons failed to withstand even three seconds before being thick smoke, cleansed by Holy Light.

The remaining demons struggled to resist; a few Banshees shrieked sharply, releasing their inner fears.

“God says, foul wickedness shall vanish.” Gabriel waved a hand, a cross sword of Holy Light formed and slashed one demon’s body as it strolled into the blood-stained circles.

At this moment, in the crucial phase of the ultimate divination Magic, Charlotte anxiously urged the remaining demons who could still resist under Holy Light to pounce upon God’s Left.

“Nonsense! Neither the Bible nor historical texts say that!” Charlotte quickly retorted: “Don’t incessantly talk about God during a demon fight, isn’t it annoying!”

“Noisy!” Gabriel scoffed coldly, swiftly swinging the Holy Light cross sword.

Charlotte, now drenched in cold sweat, focused her attention intently on her Crystal Ball, vaguely sensing its response… just a little more!

However, Gabriel suddenly raised the Holy Light cross sword high, and instantly, the underground’s Holy Light radiance magnified tenfold.

The demons, under a gleam as if the Sun had descended, transformed into ashes, leaving Charlotte struggling in agony—but her pale skin had also begun to crack.

Her body now resembled shattered tempered glass, extremely frightening.

A piercing scream echoed.

Meanwhile, Gabriel, continued to unleash Holy Light, frowned slightly. It scoffed, flicking its hand to shoot the Holy Light cross sword.

Before long, when everything settled down, the ground was only left with the embers of numerous demons after their deaths. Gabriel looked around, but couldn’t find the female demon standing in the center, holding the Crystal Ball, and the Holy Light cross sword it unleashed had also disappeared.

“What a troublesome bunch, these Transcendents.”

Gabriel waved a hand, erasing several huge circles etched here by Charlotte, to prevent humans from discovering them one day.

Because it knew that humans were too adept at learning and creating. Long centuries ago, some extraordinarily clever humans had mastered powers that didn’t originally belong to them from the remnants of angelic and demonic battles, eventually naming it Magic.

After erasing the traces here, Gabriel quickly left this murky place, heading eastward.

Charlotte only felt her body rolling, as if tumbling down a hillside.

When she raised her head and looked around, she discovered the surroundings were dim, like an endless Void, and the place she was in was a small barren hill floating in this Void world.

She heard some soft voices, turned her head, and the first thing she saw was that luscious golden curly hair—she recognized almost immediately who it belonged to.

Wolfgang.

Wolfgang, also lying on the ground, was struggling to get back on his feet, and only then did Charlotte notice the large wound on Wolfgang’s shoulder, seemingly pierced by something, bleeding profusely.

“It’s you!” Charlotte couldn’t help but exclaim.

Wolfgang grimaced, filled with pain, pressing a hand on his shoulder, “The left hand of God… truly one of heaven’s greatest forces, utterly terrifying. Such a simple strike… Ms. Charlotte, are you alright?”

“I think your problem is bigger.” Charlotte frowned, standing up: “Why save me?”

Wolfgang seemed to be in less pain, and stood up slowly, “Because I always hoped Lord Lucifer would bee part of our Dimensional Rift. Also, I’m quite interested in your divination result, Ms. Charlotte… You must have received some guidance, right?”

“Is this the Dimensional Rift?” Charlotte frowned, surveying the surroundings.

Wolfgang said, “Hardly a true rift, at best it’s the outer region, a buffer zone between our main realities. But as you see, it’s desolate here, with no signs of Life, and the Concept of time is extremely blurred.”

Charlotte nodded, opening her palm to look at her Crystal Ball—just as Wolfgang said, she held on till the end, nearly perishing, but ultimately it wasn’t in vain, she indeed realized the divination result.

“The Fool vanishes where the Sun rises.” Charlotte said softly.

“Where the Sun rises?” Wolfgang pondered, “Meaning, Lord Lucifer is in the east, the direction we’re seeking?”

But unexpectedly, Charlotte said at this moment: “No! We search to the western position!”

“Why west? Isn’t that contrary to the divination’s content?” Wolfgang asked, astonished.

“Just believe me.” Charlotte said coldly.

Wolfgang shrugged… he had his own plans too, Noah’s identity among the Transcendents was somewhat special, and this time he secretly brought Noah out, unbeknownst to many, only for Noah to be directly captured by heaven—this matter, he hadn’t informed the Dimensional Rift’s Paradise Lost Transcendents.

He wasn’t willing to return just like this… at least, see if he could persuade Lucifer.

“Fine, Ms. Charlotte.” Wolfgang nodded, smiling: “I suppose you wouldn’t refuse to travel with me now, would you?”

“Sure, but can you take off your wig? Also, remove your white stockings?” Charlotte said abruptly.

“Why this…?”

“Disgusting!”

In their time, this was fashion!

After leaving the city, the business car entered a pastoral area.

Leaving the modern cityscape behind, more primitive-style buildings could be seen—as this was a city with hundreds of years of history, intentionally preserving these old cultural elements.

You could already see some farmland, as it was harvest season. Luo Qiu looked curiously at the machines harvesting grapes outside the car window, but Song Ying’s gaze seemed to drift intentionally or unintentionally towards Luo Qiu.

“Is there something on my face?” Luo Qiu turned his head, looking at Song Ying and asked curiously.

“I was looking at the weather, not you, don’t flatter yourself.” Song Ying snorted softly and then crossed her left leg over her right, looking out the other window.

The spaciousness of the business car provided enough distance for the passengers, but even so, Song Ying rolled down the window, saying she wanted some fresh air.

“You seem anxious, is something the matter?” Luo Qiu also lowered the window on his side a bit.

Song Ying casually replied, “Nothing, just someone particularly annoying is ing, perhaps we’ll see them later… this God of Gamblers Tu Shenyi’s wine tasting might not be so smooth this time…”

“Particularly annoying person?” Luo Qiu mused aloud.

But Song Ying then seemed to remember something, suddenly looking towards Luo Qiu, scrutinizing him up and down… abruptly, Song Ying straightened up, placing her hands on Luo Qiu’s shoulders, “I don’t need you to carry my bag anymore.”

Luo Qiu blinked.

Song Ying then suddenly squinted with a smile: “I’ll introduce you to a top-notch beauty!”

Seeing Luo Qiu’s confused look, Song Ying secretly laughed to herself: Zhong Luoyue oh Zhong Luoyue, I wonder if you can handle this person?

Let you feel what it means to be impenetrable… I hope your pride can withstand it!
