They saw the eternal thunderstorm above the island condensing into a giant silver eye.
"The Observer Council... has finally taken action personally." Baros gripped his warhamr tightly.
The eighth floor of the Nest of a Thousand Mirrors, deep within the starry sky.
Zi Yuan, Blue Bird, and Leng Ningxue passed through the giant mirrored gate and stepped into this void star field.
There was no ground beneath their feet, only endless darkness and distant stars; strangely, every star was a mirror, reflecting their figures from different tilines.
"Welco to the 'Corridor of Possibilities'." A calm voice ca from the center of the starry sky.

They were all tilines where the three of them might have failed in past battles. "We prefer to demonstrate inevitability. For example, in 97.3% of tilines, you cannot pass through this floor."
Leng Ningxue's icy gaze swept across those mirrors as data streams calculated frantically: "He is using Mirror Probability to interfere with our cognition. Every ti we look at a mirror, our subconscious accepts one of those failure possibilities, and our will to fight weakens accordingly."
"Then don't look!" Zi Yuan unsheathed her long blade, the blade light slashing directly at the Silent Observer!
But the mont the blade light touched him, the Silent Observer turned into countless mirror fragnts and reassembled elsewhere.
"It's useless." The Silent Observer's voice ca from all directions, "Here, I am possibility itself. Every attack you make creates a new parallel image, and I will exist in all images."
The mirrored stars began to rotate, each mirror shooting out a silver beam of light that interlaced into a logical grid in the air, enveloping the three of them.
Blue Bird's thunderstorm struck the grid but was evenly distributed among all the mirrors, failing to even stir a ripple.
Leng Ningxue tried to freeze the space, but the low temperature was reflected back at her when it touched the mirror surface; she groaned, a trace of blood spilling from the corner of her mouth.
"Rational calculation shows that your probability of winning is lower than 0.7%." The Silent Observer's voice remained calm.
"Give up resistance, hand over the location of the resonance core, and I can guarantee you will enjoy freedom of thought after becoming observation samples."
Zi Yuan's knuckles turned white as she gripped her blade.
She looked at Blue Bird, then at Leng Ningxue, and suddenly laughed.
"Hey, do you two rember that ti on Lei Hai Floating Island when we were surrounded by the Sin Colossus?" Her voice carried a hint of madness. "What was the win rate °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° back then?"
Leng Ningxue wiped away the blood: "The calculation at the ti was 0.03%."
"And the result?"
"We won." Blue Bird grinned, lightning exploding on his gauntlets.
"So—" Zi Yuan held her long blade high. The Mirror Prism: Thunder Resonance she had just obtained appeared on the blade, lightning runes spreading along its length.
"What I hate most are bastards like you who think they've calculated everything."
She poured all of her blade intent into the prism.
The prism shattered, and the lightning runes fused with her Tide-Breaking Blade Intent, turning into a purple thunderstorm blade light that slashed not at the Silent Observer, but at all the mirrored stars in the sky!
"It's useless," the Silent Observer said calmly. "Attacking all images will only disperse your power."
"Who said I was attacking?" Purple flas burned in Zi Yuan's eyes. "I am resonating—"
The mont the blade light touched the first mirror, the phantom of a defeated Blue Bird from a certain tiline reflected within it suddenly looked up.
Then the second, the third...
In all the mirrors, those failure possibilities that should have been re illusions simultaneously ignited with purple flas.
"How is this possible?!" For the first ti, a tremor appeared in the Silent Observer's voice. "Mirror Probability does not allow possibilities to awaken autonomously!"
"But emotion does." Leng Ningxue pressed her hands to the ground.
Though there was no physical entity beneath her, her ice crystal calculations had invaded the underlying logic of this star field. "You made a mistake: you treated our projections from different tilines as dead data."
"But every projection carries our true emotions from that mont. And Zi Yuan's blade intent has awakened these emotional echoes."
Blue Bird laughed loudly, his thunderstorm domain fully unfolding: "That's right! Even if we lose in 99% of the tilines..."
"...in the remaining 1%, we will definitely win! And now, every version of us across all tilines is choosing that 1%!"
In the starry sky, thousands of mirrors shattered simultaneously.
Every fragnt reflected the burning figures of Zi Yuan and the others.
