"Taking all the survivors, we stole three of the Council's experintal ships and half their database, then fled into the unmapped zones at the edge of the star chart.

For three thousand years, we have been there... slowly nding each other's experintal traumas, learning how to live ➤ NоvеⅠight ➤ (Read more on our source) as an undefined civilization."

He looked at Bai Cheng, his eyes—one flesh and blood, one chanical—reflecting everyone on the bridge of the dawn:

"Until seven days ago, the mirrors of the Nest of a Thousand Mirrors began playing those hidden records, until the echoes of the Forgotten Star Abyss suddenly found a ho, until the newborn chi of the golden bell reached the farthest edges of the star chart."

"We understood."

Behind Enoch, all the representatives of the Hybrid Civilizations stepped forward simultaneously.

An individual composed of light said softly, "The chi asks: Who else wants to be a variable?"

A lifeform of intertwined vines and tal said in a deep voice, "The mirrors answer: All those who still rember the pain."

A semi-chanical Spirit Race mber raised her hand, the Erald Network and electric currents intertwining in her palm: "The echoes say: Bring us ho."

Enoch pushed his wheelchair to the very front of the screen:

"So we have co."

"To join this army composed of out-of-control variables."

"To tell those who made the rules."

He paused, his chanical right eye suddenly erupting with blinding blue light, within which flowed the nas of all the lives lost in the fusion experints over the past three thousand years:

"The experint should end now."

Atop the Golden Bell Tower of Shandora, on a temporary command platform.

Bai Cheng stood at the edge of the platform, looking down at the fleet gathering in the sea of clouds.

The dawn was anchored in the center, surrounded by the Thunder Fleet of Thunder God Island, the Spirit Race flower boat arrays of the Erald Sea, the Mirror Shuttle formations of the Nest of a Thousand Mirrors,

and at the outermost periter, the Hybrid Civilization starship brought by Enoch and the ragtag army it led, composed of remnants from dozens of'substandard' civilizations.

The fleet numbered over three hundred ships.

The scale was not even a tenth of the Sky Federation's peak in the past.

But on the bridge of every ship stood a group of people with equally determined eyes.

"The resonance network of the oath of starlight has covered all ships," Leng Ningxue reported. "The real-ti communication and tactical sharing system built on Mirror Abyss fragnt technology is operating normally, with an error rate below 0.03%."

"Representatives from each civilization have completed preliminary tactical coordination." Zi Yuan's long blade stood by her side.

"Thunder God Island is responsible for the assault, the Erald Sea and Nest of a Thousand Mirrors for support and interference, and the Hybrid Civilization fleet... they requested to be the vanguard themselves."

"Because they are most familiar with the Council's thods," Enoch's voice ca through the communication channel.

"For three thousand years, we have been evading their cleanup squads.

We know their scanning frequencies, their attack patterns, and every... loophole in their logic."

Bai Cheng nodded and looked toward the star chart.

The fluctuation leading to the 'Gate of the Real Battlefield' was still flickering, but now, it was surrounded by dense navigational route markers.

Those were the preset attack routes for all participating ships.

"But we still don't know what's behind the door," Aurora said softly. "It could be the ultimate trial, a trap, or a cleanup device capable of instantly formatting the entire fleet."

"That's why we need an insurance policy." Bai Cheng turned to look at Abraham, who was standing on the other side of the platform.

"Sage, in your database, are there more specific records regarding what lies beyond the veil?"

Abraham remained silent for a long ti.

The grey light mirror floating before him suddenly went dark, then slowly lit up again.

This ti, what appeared in the mirror was not a Council record, but an extrely blurred video fragnt, as if transmitted from a very distant ti and space.

In the video, a pure white door slowly opened. Behind the door was not physical space, but an ocean composed of flowing code.

In the center of the ocean, three things floated:

A heavy book with 'General Principles of Experintal Protocols' engraved on its cover;

A longsword condensed from pure rationality, its blade covered in mathematical formulas;

And... a tear.

A single tear floating in the ocean of code, never dissipating, never falling.

The video ended abruptly there.

"This is..." Lu Duo's erald eyes widened slightly.

"The only ti in my life I successfully reverse-tracked a record from the internal network of the Observer Group."

Abraham's voice was very soft, as if afraid of disturbing sothing. "The ti was two thousand one hundred years ago, shortly after the Lord of the Sky completed the division of authority.

That tracking only lasted 0.3 seconds before I was forcibly disconnected and suffered a backlash at the logical level.

For the next three years, I was unable to perform any complex calculations."

He pointed to the three objects in the video:

"The book is the rules. The sword is the power to enforce the rules. And the tear..."

He paused, the spark deep within his grey eyes flickering slightly:

"I spent two thousand years thinking about what that tear was."

"Now I think, perhaps it is the last bit of humanity they reserved for themselves."

"Perhaps after pushing open that door, what we face will not be cold machines."

"But a group of people who are also trapped in the rules, only trapped deeper and longer."

Silence fell over the platform.

Only the lingering resonance of the golden bell slowly spread through the sea of clouds.

Bai Cheng looked at the fluctuation on the star chart.

After a long while, she said softly:

"Then let's go ask them."

"Ask those who made the rules, whom that tear... was shed for."

She raised her hand, the light of the oath of starlight earring flowing to her fingertips, drawing a clear navigational route in the air.

At the end of the route was the center of that fluctuation.

"All ships, assemble."

"Next stop."

In Bai Cheng's silver eyes, the speed of the reversing galaxy suddenly accelerated, as if accumulating so power to break through all restraints.

"To push open that door."

"To end this experint that has lasted three thousand years."

"To tell all lives still being defined,"

Her voice resounded across the command platform, across Shandora, and through the communication channels of every ship:

"Freedom is not a permitted option."

"Freedom is our innate right."

"And now—"

Bai Cheng clenched her fist, the light of the oath of starlight erupting like a nova, illuminating the entire Golden Bell Tower:

"We are going to take it back."

The fleet engines started simultaneously.

The lights of three hundred ships rged into one in the sea of stars, like a galaxy spanning ti and space, sailing resolutely toward that door leading to the unknown.

And behind them, on the White Stone Recording Tablets of Shandora, the runes of the golden bell quietly changed.

Below the text, a tiny but incredibly clear note quietly appeared:

"No matter what is behind the door—"

"The story must be written by ourselves."

"This ti, there are no more spectators."

"Only fellow travelers."

Preview of the next part: Beyond the Veil · The Final Proving Ground

When the army of variables smashes open the door of rules, when the defined face the definers, when the three-thousand-year experint reaches its final inspection.

Are those who made the rules truly as Abraham guessed, just a group of prisoners also trapped in a larger cage?

And what unspoken truth is hidden in that tear floating in the ocean of code?

In the next chapter, the end of the experint is also the beginning of a new era.

The door is about to open.
