"There are weird igloos scattered around the whole area. A few ice towers too. It looks like there are so kind of magic crystals on top of those towers, so we could try heading there."
I nodded.
"Lead the way."
She imdiately summoned her Soul Weapon to guide us, and so, I carefully took us there with my Telekinesis.
After just a few minutes of flying, we arrived by an igloo.
Though... an igloo was an understatent, as this was a full-blown ice castle.
Though, as I scanned it with my Telekinesis, I realized that there was nothing inside.
It was just a hollow, cool-looking castle with no hidden rooms or secrets.
So as boring as it was, I did not bother with it further and focused on the tall ice spire in front of us.
It was fairly bulky, and it had a staircase leading upward.
But we did not need any of that, as I just flew us to the very top.
And when we landed at the flat top of the spire, I saw a small blue crystal embedded into the ice.
Curious, I reached down and tried to thaw it out of the ice.
To my surprise, when I touched it, the whole spire shattered, sending us tumbling down to the ground.
With a sigh, I caught Clentine and landed safely.
Just then, a blue flare shot up from the ground and flew high into the sky.
It quickly faded away, but it was clear this flare ant sothing.
And yet, as I was about to look away, I suddenly saw another flare burst into the sky only a few hundred ters away from us.
My body tensed up in an instant.
"They’re close..."
I turned to Clentine.
"How many towers did you say you saw?"
"I saw five. Since we got one, and the Reapers got the second, there’s only three left."
She sighed in annoyance.
"I can’t believe they bypassed my Soul Weapons. I couldn’t see them..."
"Amon, protect for a mont. I’m going to locate them and put a tracker on every single one of them."
The mont she said that, she closed her eyes.
As she began channeling her focus, I protected her.
Reapers usually moved with a clear objective in mind.
So if their objective was to retrieve that artifact, they would co to eliminate us as soon as possible.
And it seed like I was right.
I heard a crunch in the snow behind Clentine.
I reacted instantly, extending my arm behind her neck.
As if on cue, a thin, needle-like blade soared through the air before colliding with my palm.
The blade shattered in an instant.
But another blade soon ca, then another.
Each one was more powerful, but by the fourth blade, I simply summoned all 100 of my Clorafite weapons and surrounded Clentine in a full shield.
Not an inch of her body was unprotected.
And seeing that, I relaxed for a mont.
"Either you get your ass out here, or I’ll co to you."

Seems like he was not much of a talker.
But since that was the case, I guessed I should oblige.
I turned my body into lightning, and in an instant, I reappeared behind the unsuspecting Reaper.
Then, I sent an arc of lightning outward, further amplifying its speed by pushing it with my Telekinesis.
The Reaper suddenly turned toward .
I t his lifeless white eyes.
Though even if they were lifeless, the sheer amount of training this killing machine had gone through made even soone like a little wary.
And like the good killing machine that it was, it lowered its body at an unnatural angle, completely dodging my lightning strike.
Then, it repositioned and pulled out another needle-like blade before thrusting it at .
The Reaper’s speed was impressive.
But there were several ters between us.
In short, I had a split second to react.
I used that split second wisely.
I abruptly increased the weight of his needle blade to several tons, making the Reaper’s body hunch forward.
Then, I focused a decent chunk of my energy and Telekinesis directly onto his neck.
I was about to pop his head like a balloon.
But to my genuine surprise, I felt my Telekinesis control slip away slightly.
It was as if my energy was being forcefully controlled.
This was one of the problems of fighting these kinds of people.
They might be killing machines, but they are inherently human.
And like all humans... they have an unpredictable Gift.
So I warily took a step back.
Yet the Reaper did not hesitate to lunge at once more.
It used the sa needle blade whose weight I had increased to several tons.
The attack was slow.
Painfully slow.
I thought of simply moving aside at the last second.
However, once it got within inches of my body and entered my Telekinetic barrier, I felt as though my Telekinesis had been turned off.
So he easily went through my barrier, and right as he was about to pierce , I shifted my weight and then turned my fist into lightning.
Before the Reaper could react, I uppercut him with the lightning fist.
Not only that, I increased the weight of my fist to 10 tons before impact, so the mont it hit the Reaper’s chin, his head went flying clean off.
And what followed was a powerful shockwave.
BOOOOOOOOM!
As I stared at the small scratch on my cheek, I frowned.
Then, I glanced over at the Reaper whose head I had blown off.
He was wobbling around, almost like he was about to fall.
As for the head, it eventually landed in the snow and began to bleed profusely.
But I rely rolled my eyes at this performance.
These pieces of shit only really died if their brain, heart, and liver were destroyed.
This one’s heart was intact, and so was his liver.
As for the brain... he did not need one.
His whole body was a weapon.
And his sole goal at the mont was to deceive and catch off guard.
But sadly for this Reaper, it was not my first ti fighting them.
So I began to act oblivious.
In reality, I carefully detached two Clorafite weapons from Clentine.
And after turning my back to the Reaper, I waited for the exact mont he would strike.
The Reaper did not wait and tried to grab my neck.
Just then, two Clorafite weapons shot through the sound barrier and pierced straight through the Reaper’s heart and liver.
The two Clorafite weapons stopped before hitting and traveled back to Clentine.
As for , I turned around, only to see that the Reaper had slumped down lifelessly.
More importantly, its blood switched to a white color instead of the red it was trying to lure in with.
This was the real color of their blood.
But more importantly... the Reaper’s blood emanated a strong, flowery scent.
When one of these Evangelists died, their blood alerted all nearby Evangelists.
Since these guys were just Reapers and not the actual important Evangelists, their blood could alert anyone in a 1-kiloter radius.
In short...
The other four now knew this Reaper was dead.
