"Don’t mind my intrusion. I’m just in a bit of a rush," I replied with a wide smile.
Then, I extended my arms outwards.
"I didn’t co here to fight. You see, my friend is on the verge of death, and if I want her to live, then I need the heart of a Titan."
I was sure I was being very generous to them, and I really hoped that just by saying that, they had a very clear picture of what I had intended to do.
But in case they didn’t, I wanted them to be sure that I was 100% serious.
"Tell where I might find a Titan, and I will spare your race. Do not, and I will eradicate every single one of you, down to the last living pigeon fucker. Make your choice wisely, since I am not in the mood to waste any more ti here."
I let my Divine Energy flow freely, showing them just how little of a chance they stood against .
The wind brushed past them fiercely, getting my point across much more effectively than I had imagined.
So effectively, in fact, that I soon felt a presence erge from behind . It was a very familiar presence, belonging to a person I had t not even that long ago.
"Amon? Well... when soone tripped the ergency system of my ho, I never expected to run into soone like you. From what I’ve heard, you went ape shit and killed everybody."
I turned my head and was t with none other than Kai, who just continued approaching closer and closer. Eventually, he was only a few feet away from .
Though his expression, even after seeing how much strength I had, didn’t wane in the slightest.
"You’ve actually returned, Gabriel Edware. Or at least, that’s the only explanation I have for you getting so far without being killed by the Titans," Kai said.
I narrowed my eyes.
"What are you talking about?"
"Well, isn’t it obvious? This world is special, since it’s guarded by powerful beings. Even we Angels can’t co and go however we please, since we need to get the permission of the Titans themselves. Yet here you are. Not only did you enter this realm, but you also managed to make it to the inner layer of this realm."
He clicked his tongue. "Though, why’d you co here again? I didn’t get many details."
Before I could say anything, the Angel behind explained:
"He needs the heart of a Titan to save a friend. He wants us to give the Titans’ location to him."
"Oh? Well, I an, why the ruckus, then? Just give it to him. It’s not our problem. It’s not like the oath we made forbids us from saying their locations. Plus, Gabriel Edware is much more trustworthy than Amon."
He glanced up and down again.
"Though, from the looks of things, you’re much more Amon than you are Gabriel. Well... it doesn’t really matter. I’m glad you’re back. But I’d also love it if you could listen to one of my proposals before I tell you the location of a Titan. What do you say?"
Ignoring the fact that he seed to know Gabriel Edware, and that his eyes weren’t spazzing out like with the Giants, I felt like he was one of the people I could question thoroughly and get answers to so of the questions that have been plaguing my mind.
And all those questions without actually needing to tap into more of my Divine Energy. Obviously, it was inevitable that I’d need to do it one day. It’s just that, before I sink deeper into this ss, I wanted to know just what I’m getting myself into.
Having made up my mind, I nodded at him.
"I agree. Though, if you try to pull anything funny, or, as you said, get all the Titans to suddenly descend on , I will make sure your race is wiped out before I die."
Kai rubbed the back of his neck. "What’s with you and wiping out my race? Keep genocide to the demons. We Angels didn’t do anything."
I rolled my eyes. "You teaming up with the demons is all I need to hold your entire race accountable."
He raised a brow. "So because you humans used to try and enslave us in the past, I shouldn’t hold you accountable? Listen, I’m all in for being a hypocrite, but just so you know, you’re not the only one who has been wronged. So before you start spouting more shit, follow so I can show you a little sothing."
Without allowing to even respond, his figure suddenly vanished. He was much faster than I rember, and the amount of Demonic Energy in his body was even more overwhelming.
Obviously, he was still no match for the current , but it was impressive how far he had co. Despite that, I stopped dawdling around as I gave the Angels one last look and vanished.
Keeping up with Kai wasn’t that difficult, though at the speed we were going, it made realize just how big this realm really was. I would’ve already spun around my whole world tens of tis, but here, I felt like I barely even reached the edge of a continent.
Yet right as I thought we’d continue heading forward, Kai dived down, splitting through the ground like so sort of mole and paving a way for .
I stared at the sight with a confused look, and when I realized he wasn’t stopping any ti soon, I followed along the path. Once I reached the bottom, though, I was left even more confused.
It was like a giant underground dungeon, much like where I had t Rachel.
The only difference was that the energy here had way too many spatial fluctuations, to the point where I felt that if I used my Spatial Telekinesis, I’d cause so serious damage to everything here.
So instead of doing sothing drastic, I turned to Kai and decided to figure out just what this place was.
