"You still don’t want to talk to , huh? Well, it’s fine."

I knew for a fact it could talk.

It called out to when I first got here.

I’m pretty sure it was expecting to take over my body and break itself out of those special chains.

Obviously, it couldn’t since my ntal Resistance was maxed out.

And now, this ancient and powerful Eldritch Monster was nothing but my punching bag.

I have been going all out using my Gifts on it.

And today was the sa.

I took a few steps back and then glanced back at the monster.

Then, I decided to put the last couple of weeks of Telekinesis practice into my next attack.

The last thing I learned was Mass Manipulation.

It was very overpowered, and I could use my 100 Clorafite weapons like a bunch of miniature rail guns without much strain.

And now, I learned Density Manipulation.

Unlike Mass Manipulation, Density Manipulation focused on where the mass was located inside an object.

I could harden sothing, or make it more flexible.

It was a natural process, and that alone didn’t take long to master.

Only around an hour or so.

But what I was truly aiming for was sothing different.

Picking up a pebble from the ground, I levitated it in the air.

Then, I proceeded to split the density of the pebble into 10 different points.

And in the next instant, I increased the mass of those individual points by as much as I could.

In an instant, I felt a slight strain on my hand, but I didn’t stop there.

I split the new density into 100 different small points.

Finally, I increased the mass of every small piece by as much as I could, and finally, a single bead of sweat rolled down my forehead.

The pebble looked the sa.

At a glance, no one could tell anything was wrong with it.

But I was currently holding a pebble that weighed as much as one hundred boulders.

This is what nearly three weeks of work got .

Though for the ti being, I couldn’t split the density into more points, as I was just too weak to handle any more.

It was already difficult to handle this many, after all.

Regardless of that though, I took a deep breath and focused on my other Gift.

Lightning Manipulation.

All my levels ca from repeated use.

I was really good at controlling it, but I lacked a technique and a goal for it.

So for now, I just stuck to sothing simple.

I infused the pebble with as much lightning as I could.

Then I created a small magnetic field by rging both my Gifts, and in the end, I rely aid the pebble at the Eldritch Monster.

And with one final deep breath, I released the pebble.

I was expecting so kind of big recoil and explosion, but instead, it just vanished.

For a second, I thought I might’ve overloaded the pebble.

After all, it was just a pebble.

But my thoughts were quickly disproven.

CRACKLE!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A large gust of wind shot back as the pebble tore through the Eldritch Monster’s body and struck the wall behind it.

SHRIEEEEEEEEEEK!

The monster let out a horrible pained shriek, rattling all the chains that were sealing it down here and nearly blowing my eardrums out.

It was really loud.

But I didn’t care about it for even a mont as I quickly ran behind it and inspected the damage.

And oh boy...

"The wall’s gone..."

At first, there was a tiny hole where the pebble entered, but that very sa hole expanded drastically with every inch the pebble traveled until eventually, there was a tunnel several kiloters long and wide in front of .

I definitely overdid it.

But as I glanced around and saw the monster who was practically unscathed, I began to wonder if I could’ve done more?

Truth be told, I’ve been trying to kill it for the last three weeks.

Lightning, Telekinesis, potions, brute strength...

If the headmaster stood in front of and didn’t move, he would’ve been dead right here.

So this monster was definitely at least Grade 70, if not higher.

I didn’t really know how strong these things were.

The main character never fought them.

But since there were five of them in total and so of them might not be sealed like this one, I saw them as a threat.

Still, since today was a failed attempt again, I’ll just try tomorrow.

If tomorrow doesn’t work, I’ll try the day after tomorrow.

I won’t leave this continent until it’s dead.

Yet as I began to levitate upward, prepared to leave, it spoke out to inside my mind.

[Why?]

[Why are you so restless?]

[Can’t you just let sleep in peace for once?]

"You know after you tried to take over my body, don’t even think of getting so peaceful sleep," I responded.

[...]

[Would you like to make a deal?]

Haha.

Nothing less sketchy than an ancient monster offering a deal.

I had no intention to accept no matter what it offered , but sure.

I’ll see what it wants.

"What kind of deal?"

[It is simple.]

[I will tell you how to grow stronger, and in exchange...]

[I want you to kill .]

"...?"

What?

It wants to kill it?

If anything, I was confused now.

Why did it try to control back then if it had no intention to live?

Was there sothing I wasn’t understanding?

Regardless of that, I didn’t plan to accept the deal at first, but clearly... this was beneficial for .

Though the chance of this being so kind of trick was extrely high, so I didn’t let my guard down.

"I don’t get it, but sure. I agree to this deal. Let’s start right away then. Tell how I can kill you."

The monster’s hundreds of eyes all glanced at , and after an uncomfortable period of silence, it spoke.

[In order to grow stronger...]

[You must consu my heart.]

"..."
