"Hmm..."
As I stared at the gates of a luxurious mansion, I couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
No wonder we couldn’t find the Vampire Noble anywhere in the city.
It was an actual noble, living in a mansion away from the people.
And the vampire that went out to kill that man was the Vampire Noble’s butler of sorts.
Turning to the side, I saw Clentine, who was staring at eagerly.
"Can we go in?"
"Yeah... But first of all..."
I bit the tip of my finger, drawing a single droplet of blood.
But before it could fall off my finger, I stuck it inside Clentine’s mouth, greatly surprising her.
Confused, she began licking my finger all over, and while I did enjoy it... that’s not really why I did that.
With my other hand, I pointed at her waist.
Her clothes were ripped a little.
There was a small cut too from the glass.
But when she finally digested my blood, that wound vanished.
Stunned, she carefully took my finger out of her mouth.
With her saliva still dripping, she wiped my finger with her sleeve and turned to the mansion.
Her entire body was shaking, but since she was trying to pretend that nothing happened, I’d humor her.
"Don’t attack right away. Let’s observe."
She nodded at after a pause, and just like that, the two of us just jumped the fence.
We imdiately went to the top of the mansion, and after finding a window, simply dismantled it and climbed inside.
The attic was filled with dust, as well as the stench of blood.
I took a step forward and suddenly felt sothing squishy.
Clentine ca in right after and halted in disgust.
"What are we standing on?"
"Let’s find out," I whispered back to her.
Then, I snapped my finger slightly, causing a very small spark of lightning to montarily light up the attic.
And the sight was nothing short of a horror movie.
Hundreds of corpses of won, their ages ranging from young to old.
It was a sight that nearly made throw up.
This was in the mission details.
The vampires capture virgin won.
...Judging by how lifeless and dried up their bodies were, the vampires had already drunk all their blood, or used them for rituals.
Every mont I spend in this world, I’m constantly reminded of how terrible the entire Demonic Race is.
Every single one of them.
"B-Blegh..."
To my surprise, Clentine suddenly vomited.
But before her vomit could fall to the ground and alert the vampires below, I caught it with my Telekinesis.
Then, I simply tossed it as far away as I could through the window and went back to pat her back.
She was shaken.
But after just a few minutes, she gestured that she was fine.
Although I was a little worried, I held back my disgust and levitated both of us through the attic until we finally reached an open hatch in the distance.
We climbed down and arrived in one of the guest rooms. Of course, we imdiately left it and began quietly traversing the hallway.
And eventually, we found ourselves in a long hallway that led up to only a single office.
The office where the Vampire Noble was.
Clentine and I nodded at each other and swiftly approached it.
But just as we were about to kick the door in and kill the Vampire Noble, we both jumped onto the ceiling, and before we could fall, I held us in place with my Telekinesis.
In the next instant, the door opened.
Three people dressed in luxurious suits walked out.
"Hahaha. It’s your turn tomorrow, don’t forget."
"Tsk... But the ones in my ho are too beautiful to give away."
"That’s why you should just go buy a slave!"
The three n laughed earnestly and, after taking a few steps, stopped.
Another person walked out.
His hair was long, and it was pitch black.
And his fashion sense was as ridiculous as his platinum earrings.
"Now now, gentlen. I told you all that our partnership only exists because I enjoy beautiful won, and you enjoy having your heads on your shoulders. Give a slave, and there shall be one less of you."
So that’s him...
The Vampire Noble.
"S-Sir... It was only a joke. We would never do sothing so foolish."
Right...
And these people are most likely nobles who are supplying him with the virgin won.
I guess at tis like these, I can’t really put all the bla on the demons.
After all, when trash like this exists... we’re just as much at fault as the demons.
But this cruel nightmare for the people of the Alvaras Territory is going to end today.
I reached into my dinsional ring and unsheathed a new steel sword.
Then, after exchanging a glance with Clentine, I released our Telekinesis.
We moved instantly.
Clentine summoned tens of Soul Weapons and pinned the Vampire Noble down.
As for , I landed in front of the three n.
They stared at in confusion for a mont, but then their expressions turned hollow.
One swift motion, and both walls had long yet thin cracks spreading across them until the end of the hallway.
And of course...
PLOP! PLOP! PLOP!
The heads of the traitors fell off their shoulders, and without batting an eye, I sheathed my sword and turned back to the Vampire Noble.
But to my surprise, I was t with Clentine, who flew straight at .
I caught her and set her down.
Then, I glanced at the Vampire Noble.
He was unscathed.
Didn’t Clentine just pin him down?
"He turned into a bat and dodged all my attacks. He’s fast. Be careful," Clentine said.
A bat... I hope he turns into one again so I can just crush him.
Regardless of that, though...
"Did I invite you two? Hmm... Let think."
He tilted his head slightly, his eyes flashing red.
"No, I don’t think I have. So, dear little humans, to what do I owe this sudden visit?"
Before we could even reply, however, the Vampire Noble snapped his fingers.
And then, the whole mansion vanished, replaced by a dark domain with a crimson moon overhead.
It was a personal domain, similar to the one Clentine could create.
But for Vampire Nobles, sothing like this was rare.
So rare, in fact, that I know of less than ten Vampire Nobles who can do sothing like this.
The mont that thought crossed my mind, two shadowy figures erged from behind the Vampire Noble.
Both of them looked identical to the Vampire Noble.
"..."
I knew all three of them.
I just had no idea they ca from this continent.
The Three Vampire Generals.
They are triplets.
And they beco extrely powerful in the future.
This domain was one of the reasons.
But another was the fact that, in their lore, it was vaguely ntioned that they had once massacred a quarter of a continent in one night.
And since they co from this continent... I could only imagine what would have happened if Clentine and I got here later.
"Be careful. They’re all Vampire Nobles."
Clentine’s body stiffened.
Though she quickly relaxed.
"I take it we’ll be going all out?"
I let out a chuckle before nodding.
"Oh yeah."
I was sure that with Clentine at her best, and at my best, we wouldn’t lose.
So the two of us soon glanced over to the Vampire Nobles, all of whom were now staring at us.
"I love whatever organization the two of you are from. You keep sending strong fighters after us, and despite how many of you we kill, it’s almost like a gift that never keeps on giving."
The eyes of all three Vampire Nobles glowed nacingly as all three of them flashed a smirk and spoke in unison.
"Thank you for the al~"
