Sienna was very quiet. Then she shifted her body, tilting backwards to give him access. If it could calm the storm in her, she was willing to do it. She inhaled shakily, lifting her hands to her neck.
Elias run his hands through Sienna’s hair, feeling her body relax in his arms completely. She was making purring sounds, like a hungry cat.
"After biting, I want more." He whispered, hiding his surprise at he willingness. "I want to lick every part of your body. May I?"
Sienna was pulled out of the fog, just like that. It was like a basin of cold daughter had been poured over her. She was hungry for his body, but she was not confident about standing before him totally naked. What if he took one look at her jiggly stomach and made so crude remark?
Elias was not deaf to discomfort. As soon as he felt her stiffening and pulling away, he stopped kissing her neck and pulled back. He run his hands over her arms, as if he was trying to keep her warm. "What’s wrong? Don’t you like what I am doing?"
Her face turned hot, as blood rushed to her cheeks. She had never thought that kissing a cold fox lord would be so warm and so inviting. A deadly kind of inviting--like her lips had been claid by a storm and her breath, a predator who knew no rcy. But the thought of going further made her stomach twist.
Elias raised a brow, clearly amused by her look of embarrassnt, but before he could press further, fate intervened.
The office door creaked open. In swept Lady Cadelaria, and a stumbling Timothy who was still shouting for her not to barge inside. Her eyes widened at the sight of Sienna and Elias standing suspiciously close, clothes in disarray, lips slightly swollen and tingling from their kisses. The red marks on Sienna’s neck and the undone buttons told the rest of the story. The silence was thick enough to choke a beast.
"Sienna!" She barked, her voice echoing like a war drum. "Are you seducing my son in broad daylight? In his office, no less? Have you no sha?"
Her voice was so loud, as if she wanted to broadcast this for the whole world to hear. Sienna froze, horrified. How was she the one doing the seducing? Clearly, it was Elias who initiated the whole thing.
While she wanted to leap out of the nearest window, Elias settled back in his chair as if this were a routine interruption. He even had the audacity to smirk, ears twitching lazily.
"I cannot believe this. Weren’t you declaring your dislike for him just weeks ago?" Lady Cadelaria scoffed.
Sienna felt her soul leave her body. She wanted to crawl under the desk and never erge. "I--I wasn’t seducing anyone!" Sienna stamred, waving her hands frantically. "If anyone was being seduced, it was . Wait no...we were just discussing.....paperwork!"
"Paperwork?" Lady Cadelaria’s eyes narrowed. "Since when does paperwork involve flushed cheeks and swollen lips? Don’t think I don’t see the evidence, it is written all over your face and neck! My son is the Lord fox, not so village boy you can lure with honey buns!"
Sienna’s face turned crimson. "I didn’t lure him with honey buns! I don’t even know what those are!"
Elias chuckled, low and amused, "Mother, perhaps you should calm down. Sienna is not lying, she didn’t seduce , I did the seducing. Successfully at that."
Sienna’s jaw dropped. "Don’t say that!" she hissed, mortified. "You’ll make it worse."
Indeed, it did. Lady Cadelaria gasped dramatically, clutching her chest as if struck by lightning. "You seduced her! Sienna has bewitched you again! My poor son, ensnared by a human woman’s tricks. I have been in talks with Princess Chiro, the lion King’s third sister. I told her you were getting divorced and we were shopping for new bride. What will she say when she hears of this? This is scandalous!"
"I am not shopping for a new bride, I already told you this." Elias objected strongly.
anwhile, Sienna wanted to scream. Bewitched? Tricks? She was too busy worrying about her waistline to plot seductions! "Lady Cadelaria, I assure you, I have no tricks. If I did, I would have used them to drop more fat, not to seduce your son! Besides, I am still his wife so I can use his body as much as I want."
Elias burst out laughing, a single tail swishing with delight. "She has a point."
Lady Cadelaria glared at him. "Don’t laugh! This is serious! Sienna, you must promise that you will not corrupt my son with your....your...chubby charms!"
Sienna nearly fainted. Chubby charms? Was that supposed to be an insult or praise? She groaned, regretting every cell of lust that had been activated to land her in this position. "He kissed first!"
Lady Cadelaria gasped again, as if this had not been made clear before. "You dared to let him kiss you? You shaless woman! What if soone other than had seen it?"
Sienna’s patience snapped. "Elias and I are married, it is not as if we were having an affair. If anyone had walked in and seen us, they would have chuckled and closed the door to give us room to continue."
The room went silent. Even Elias blinked, surprised by her boldness. Did she an her brief hesitation had been temporary? He promised himself to lock the door next ti to prevent mishaps like this. Lady Cadelaria’s jaw had dropped so far anwhile, that Sienna worried it might never close again. Then, like a storm breaking, her mother-in-law erupted.
"You insolent girl! Talking back to ? In my own son’s office. And I have not even co to the way you are holding my grand babies hostage and stopping them from seeing . Do you think your queen bee will protect you from if I go as crazy as you?"
Sienna retorted imdiately. "You did just see take down old Benita in the arena, right? Are you sure you want to take on? I won’t show rcy just because you are my mother-in-law." She tapped her pan, that was laying on the table.
Elias pulled his head back. Wait--was his wife threatening to give his mother a beating?
"Are you hearing this?" Lady Cadelaria turned to Elias.
Elias leaned back, trying to hide the fact that he was enjoying the spectacle. "Mother, I will have a talk with Sienna. Perhaps, you should step out and leave us so that I can teach her a proper lesson." And finish that paperwork.
