The move was going successfully, until Sienna ca to the bottom of the steps that led up to her chosen cottage. They were just six, but at her size, they seed like such a challenge that it made her sigh.
"Hurry up mama." Ali called from behind, in her excited voice.
Suddenly, Geo rumbled, "Hold still," in a commanding low voice. Then he scooped Sienna into his arms, taking her by so much surprise that she squealed. With such effortless ease, as thought she weighed no more that a feather, he strode forward.
Sienna’s eyes widened, her breath catching. He was supposed to carry cases and boxes, not her!
"Wait--what are you doing?!" she protested, her cheeks flushing crimson. "I am married."
"Carrying you, not proposing that we run away together or engage in an illicit affair that would get us both killed." He replied simply, as if the matter required no further explanation. His silver like eyes glinted with amusent, furry ears twitching at her sputtering.
So of the young servant girls chuckled.
So of the older servants and nannies frowned.
The sa guard, who had assigned himself the role of a photographer and reporter, took another picture and sent it to Elias. "First candy, and now he is carrying her around. This wolf has bad motives," he muttered.
Behind Sienna and Geo, Ali tugged a small suitcase with all her might. Her small fra leaned backward, her face scrunched in determination, dragging the stubborn luggage up one step. The sight was quite comical.
"Mama, look!" Ali puffed, "I’m strong."
Sienna laughed from the top of the steps as she was set on her feet. Her laughter was for two reasons. One: she found it funny. Two: she wanted to cover up her embarrassnt. She cleared her throat and said to Geo, "Next ti, don’t carry like that, unless my legs are broken. We should avoid misunderstandings."
"Mama look, I am on the third one." Ali shouted.
Sienna looked down and she indulged the young girl. Along with the nannies, they waited patiently and counted until Ali reached the top step. Then, they cheered as if the little one had accomplished sothing so great.
Geo’s lips curled into a smile. He could already see how lively the place was going to be from now on.
Mother and daughter entered their new ho. The company had sent cleaners to tidy up imdiately after she confird the purchase. Servants were already stationed inside the cottage, arranging furniture, spreading rugs and setting up lanterns which Sienna had bought online. The air slled faintly of polished wood and fresh herbs.
Ali, the ever energetic cub squealed and threw herself into the arms of a giant fox plush Sienna had purchased. It was set up to sit near a fire place that had not been lit yet. "Ali toy." she declared.
"I told you she would love it." Soren called from the top of the stairs leading to the second floor. "Sis, mom had already been put in bed. She is still sleeping. I am in the room next to hers. You and Ali are on the other side in the corner rooms."
There were six bedrooms in the house, four upstairs and two down. With all the upstairs rooms occupied, Elias and Eli would have to use the rooms downstairs.
Shalin and Kroton would live with Geo. The other servants would take the extra cottage. Elias had already arranged for accommodations for the guards. Sienna had a feeling that it was in the cottages around them. There was no way soone like him would leave his cub out in the open.
Sienna had no idea how right she was. The cottages to the left, right and behind her properties, had all been purchased by Elias.
One had even been occupied, but it had been emptied out before their ship arrived.

anwhile, back on the Veythar estate, Lady Cadelaria was receiving pictures of Ali from the nannies. Like Elias, she was also treating them like spies.
Suddenly, she noticed sothing in one of the pictures. Her daughter-in-law was in the arms of a fox beast man! The phone dropped from her hands and she let out a scream that summoned everyone who heard it.
By the ti they arrived, she was slumped in a chair, unconscious.
While others scread for a doctor or shouted the lady’s na, Cyra picked up her mother’s phone. Sothing on there had scared her mother into fainting. When she saw what it was, she almost scread as well.
What was his brother’s wife doing in the arms of the youngest son of the wolf lord that disappeared many years ago?
"Oh Sienna..." she muttered and groaned. "You haven’t been gone for half a day and you are still creating drama!" She sent the picture to Elias, after all, he was the one that needed to see it the most.
Wolves and foxes had competed over almost everything since the establishnt of the Beast continent. Competing over won was not unusual.
Is that what this was?
Was this the true reason behind Sienna’s agreent to divorce? Was she jumping ship into enemy hands, and taking their fox cubs with her?
Cyra fanned herself, thinking she could use a fainting spell herself.

anwhile, on a ship that was twenty minutes away from landing in front of Sienna’s new ho, Elias Veythar’s mood had gone from cold to frozen. His aura was so scary that even Timothy considered jumping off the ship.
"My lord, what bothers you?" He asked.
Elias’s tails whipped at the air. He remained silent. It wasn’t jealousy that was driving him insane, it was the audacity of the wolf beast man to flirt with a woman that he knew all too well was the wife of the leader of the fox tribe!
This was a challenge. At the sa ti, it was an insult. Mostly, it was annoying to see how his wife snuggled in the arms of the wolf beast man so easily. What had happened to her legs?
"They are right there," he growled. "Her legs are there in the picture. She is showing off her bare feet and everything."
Where was her pan when she needed to beat away strangers?
Timothy was even more confused. Whose legs and who was bare feet? The rabbit beast man sighed. He wondered if Elias’s heat was approaching.
His boss was always colder and more cranky during that ti of the month!
Elias crushed the phone with his bare hand.
Timothy deciding to stock up on the heat and scent suppressant.
