The sound was so loud that it was carried out of the partially open window. Presumptuous adults sniggered, thinking that the couple was getting intimate...maybe.
anwhile, Sienna was wondering how fast she would have to run in order to get away from the mad fox lord. Why was he screaming? If he didn’t want her to sing, she would not sing. It was that simple.
Elias stared at Sienna, his anger clashing with frustration. He drew in one breath, and expelled another, calming himself. "Why...." he closed his eyes briefly, "why can’t you just stay ho and sleep like you used to do?" He groaned. "Ever since you found your feet and voice, it has been one thing after the other."
Sienna’s voice held firm. "I still stay ho and sleep, you can co by around mid-day and confirm this for yourself. And don’t make it seem like I set out to cause trouble, things just happen to . Don’t even think about punishing for being myself. Better brace yourself because I am going to live without apologies."
"You dare." he growled.
"I dare." She answered firmly.
He pushed her back on the bed suddenly, gripped her hands and lowered his face, just hovering over hers. Small angry growls ca from his mouth.
"You bastard, let go." She hissed.
Elias’s brows furrowed. The woman had zero fear of him. Others would be shivering at the first sign of his anger and whimpering apologetically, but not her. She was determined to be a challenge. Even though her new attitude was not entirely unacceptable, he couldn’t have her recklessly going around, doing as she pleased. She certainly couldn’t go around fishing r prince’s from the sea and then kicking them!
She was string fires and wars left and right, quicker than he could put them out. The silly woman did not even know just how determined the Amberis coven was to marry off their weakling prince. Sienna was the unlucky recipient of the bounty.
While multiple partners were not exactly uncommon among beast n and won, he did not adhere to the habit. In fact, among most tribes, the tradition was a dying one. And he had no plans of sharing his wife with a rman.
There were certainly far easier ways to make his point, but there was one simple natural one. Just thinking about it, made his teeth sharpen and dip lower, ready to sink into her neck. As long as she was marked, it would be more difficult for another beast man to attempt to make a claim on her.
He would be careful and take it easy, make it pleasurable. He had never marked soone with a bite but he had heard stories from others. As long as she liked it, maybe they could have sex. His body was itching for it lately. Sienna was the last woman he had touched, not the first but since her, no other.
In the last five years, he had focused on work, growing his businesses and the fox clan.
He had been filled with disgust when he thought of her sches. Now, he knew she was innocent. She was adventurous. She was beautiful when she smiled. She was a good mother. She had ambitions. She was brave to a point of foolishness which was annoying but attractive. She actually had the traits to be a great matriarch of the fox clan. All she lacked were claws and fur.
Back up, Elias told himself. Why was he having such thoughts? he had already gone through his heat in this month, surely, sexual gratification should not be on his mind when they were discussing serious matters.
Sienna noticed his teeth and she backed up, moving away from him as slowly as possible. "Why are you here Elias?" she asked, tugging at her dress to cover her legs. "You could have said all these things over the phone."
Elias’s eyes tracked the movent. A part of him was agitated by her actions. Why was she covering her legs? She had certainly felt no qualms showing them off in her livestream when she was fishing. Did she an others could see them but not him?
He sat down on the bed, inches from her feet.
Sienna stiffened, watching him warily. In the dim light of the lantern, his eyes seed sharper and more dangerous.
"Have you given any more thought to my biting proposal?" He asked. "A bite leaves a mark which makes it hard for other beast n to attempt to claim you. The Amberis prince will keep trying until he knows you are fully taken. I am afraid he is not the only one that might develop other intentions towards you." The wolf beast man Geo was another suspicious beast man hanging around her. "You are my wife.."
"For now. We are getting divorced, have you forgotten?" She asked.
They stared at each other in silence, tension stretching out like a thin wire between them.
Laughter ca from downstairs and a falcon cried out and more laughter followed.
Sienna swallowed. "I an, we will get divorced eventually. I read up on the biting mark and it is serious business. It doesn’t go away just because we divorce and find new partners."
He laughed. "You are thinking of a new partner already?" Anger banned in his chest. It was irrational, but he felt it. He grabbed her feet, dragging her back until she almost crushed into his shoulder. "As my wife, how dare you think of others? Who is it? Is it Geo? Is it one of the servants or guards? Is it that whiny rman with the voice of a girl."
Sienna huffed. "I spoke to the r prince for like a minute, don’t create scandals that are non existent. And Geo is just a friend, nothing more. I told you that I would not do anything to sha you and your family or myself. There is nobody else Elias. Just as I expect that you are not secretly dating so other beast woman."
He smiled, crookedly. "As if I would have the ti. Between my business, fox business, the king’s business, your scandals, the children and my mother...I don’t have ti for any affairs."
"But you have ti to walk in and out of my ho as you please." She muttered. Knowing that she needed him to complete her missions, she felt slightly foolish for saying that. She wondered how they had gone from where the conversation started, to here.
They stared at each other for what felt like eternity.
He suddenly grabbed the back of her neck suddenly and pulled her to face to the crook of his neck, on the right side. "Bite," he commanded.
