Yao Zhi drove the donkey cart closer before she called out, "Aunt Wang."
Hearing the familiar voice, Wang Shen turned around. When she saw Yao Zhi driving a donkey cart, she was surprised. "Yao Girl, are you going to send lunch?" she asked.
Yao Zhi nodded and asked, "Aunt Wang, where are you going?"
"I’m going to visit my son. My daughter-in-law just finished making shoes for him, so I’m going to send them over."
"Then let’s go together."
Wang Shen didn’t refuse the offer and climbed into the cart. The weather was hot, and riding a cart was faster than walking. Even when wearing a straw hat, they still felt hot.
While she drove the cart, Yao Zhi made a note to hire a craftsman to make a roof for her cart. This way, she didn’t have to worry about the hot or cold weather.
Half an hour later, the 2 of them arrived at the military barracks. As she climbed down from the driver’s seat, Wang Shen couldn’t help but say, "Yao Girl, your donkey is so strong. It’s actually almost as fast as a horse cart."
Hearing this, Yao Zhi replied with a smile, "Aunt Wang, it’s because there is no heavy load, so the donkey can walk faster. If it were fully loaded, it would be slower."
When she heard this, Wang Shen thought about Xiao Hu’s donkey and nodded. After Yao Zhi tied the donkey to the nearby tree, Wang Shen had already inford the guards.
They waited for another 20 minutes before they saw Fu Chen’an and Xiao Wei walk out from the camp.
Unlike Yao Zhi, Wang Shen only ca to send new shoes for her son and so stead buns. When she was done, she walked over and said, "Yao Girl, I still have matters to attend to, so I will leave first."
Seeing that she was indeed in a hurry, Yao Zhi nodded and said, "Okay. Aunt Wang, be careful on the road."
While they were eating, she thought about her future plans and decided to tell her husband. "Husband, I have sothing to tell you."
"What is it?" Fu Chen’an asked after he swallowed the food.
"Do you rember the seasoning store we visited in the town?"
Fu Chen’an nodded and asked, "What’s wrong with that store?"
Yao Zhi thought for a mont before she said, "Actually, my mother left a book containing all of my maternal family’s secret recipes. In that book, there are several recipes to make sauces."
"You know that the price of grains keeps increasing, so I want to earn so money to lessen your burden. So, I made so soy sauce and fish sauce not long after we got married."
"I sold the sauces to the seasoning store’s owner and earned so money. In the future, I will continue selling these sauces."
When Fu Chen’an heard his wife’s words, his hand paused. He looked at her and asked, "Wife, was the money I gave you not enough for you to spend?"
Yao Zhi shook her head and said, "It’s not that the money you gave is not enough. But we can’t just continue eating our savings without earning."
"Right now, there are only you and , and the money is enough. But what if we have children in the future? We will need a lot of money for their studies, food, and clothes."
After she said this, she glanced at her husband. They had agreed to wait until her body was ready before they consummated their marriage. So the matter of having children would have to wait, too.
While they had ti, she wanted to start a business so that one day, when they had a child, she wouldn’t have to worry about finding excuses to explain the things she used for her child.
With a system, it was impossible to ask her to use low-quality materials for her child. She would give her children the best things she could afford.
At this mont, Fu Chen’an’s mind was running on a different wavelength from hers.
He thought that he would have to wait for a long ti before his wife truly loved him. Unexpectedly, she loved him so much that she had already thought about their children’s future!
"Wife, I will support you!" he said suddenly.
Hearing this, Yao Zhi was taken aback. She observed her husband and asked carefully, "Husband, do you really agree I’m doing business?"
Fu Chen’an nodded and replied, "As long as you want to, I will definitely support you."
Yao Zhi once again refreshed her understanding of this man. From what happened in the morning, she knew that won were expected to stay at ho and take care of the house, husband, and children.
Although this era seed to be more open-minded than the ancient history she learned in her previous life, most won still didn’t dare to show their faces outside, let alone have contact with another man besides their family.
So, it was understandable for Yao Zhi to be surprised.
Seeing his wife staring at him with wide eyes, Fu Chen’an smiled. He reached out and scratched her nose lightly with the back of his finger.
"Wife, if you continue staring at , your food will turn cold," he reminded her.
Hearing this, Yao Zhi finally regained her senses. She quickly lowered her head and ate her food. After coming to this world and eting her husband, this was the 1st ti she found him to look so handso.
She stole glances at him and suddenly realized that his skin seed brighter and cleaner. Although he was still as tanned as before, he no longer looked so unkempt.
"Husband, did you use the skincare I gave you?" she asked.
Fu Chen’an nodded and replied, "I use the shampoo, body soap, facial soap, and the cream one."
"You an moisturizer?"
Fu Chen’an nodded and noted the na. After a mont of pause, he asked, "Wife, can you give another set of soaps, skincares, and more toothpaste and toothbrushes?"
