Early the next morning, before dawn, Yao Zhi woke up because of Xi Qi’s cry. When she opened her eyes, she t a pair of red, wet eyes.
"Ah Qi, why did you wake up so early? Are you hungry?" she asked softly. Just waking up, her voice was hoarse.
Xi Qi nodded and puckered his mouth. After living with her, the boy was no longer as timid as before. He knew that his master loved him and pampered him. So, he dared to act coquettish with her.
Seeing his pitiful expression, Yao Zhi let out a yawn and sat up. She slept on the outer side, so she didn’t disturb Xi Yi and Xi Si when she left the bed.
Opening the window, she saw that the sky was still dark, but the snow had stopped. As the snowfall stopped, the temperature beca colder, and the ground was covered with a layer of ice.
She rubbed her arms and took out a pot of fresh milk from her system’s storage. She scooped a bowl of milk and added a spoonful of honey. Then, she stored the rest of the milk and honey in her system’s storage before she returned to bed.
Slling the scent of milk, Xi Qi grinned and crawled over. He climbed onto her lap and leaned on her body with familiarity.
Yao Zhi smiled and fed him the milk slowly using a spoon.
Not long after, Xi Yi woke up. The mont she saw her son sitting comfortably on their master’s lap and being fed, she was shocked.
