When they reached the living room, all the mbers of the Cheng Family were present: Mr. Cheng, his three sons, daughters-in-law, and Cheng Yijin’s cousins. It seed that everyone who could co was there, and Song Yiluo distinctly felt that she should not be present today.

"Grandpa." Cheng Yijin was unfazed by the atmosphere in the living room and imdiately sat beside Mr. Cheng, wrapping her arm around his and coquettishly complained, "Soone bullied and even posted a report against at school. You must stand up for ."

Mr. Cheng’s heart felt as if it were filled with a bitter potion, his gaze pained. The child who had doted on him for twenty-one years turned out not to be his granddaughter but his grand-niece.

She should have received more of his affection; after all, his own sister had gone missing so early. If he knew she was his sister’s descendant, Mr. Cheng would certainly have cherished her even more.

But thinking that the Deng Family not only abducted his sister but also swapped his sister’s granddaughter for his biological granddaughter was infuriating. Most appallingly, his biological granddaughter was abandoned in faraway Sichuan Province, enduring a hardship of twenty-one years.

The child he had cherished for twenty-one years knew the truth at fifteen yet continued to accept everything the Cheng Family gave her without remorse. Mr. Cheng was deeply disappointed.

Cheng Jinyong already knew the truth. Seeing Cheng Yijin’s deanor, he closed his eyes painfully, clenched his fists, and remarked, "Aren’t the things ntioned in the report true?"

The living room, once filled with delicate voices, was suddenly interrupted by a repressed, deep voice, and everyone’s attention shifted to Cheng Jinyong.

Sitting beside him, his wife, Ning Hong, looked at him incredulously, "What are you saying? What’s going on with you?"

Ning Hong frowned and asked in a low voice upon seeing Cheng Jinyong’s expression, "Is sothing wrong? Is it sothing with the army?"

"No, just talking about family matters." Cheng Jinyong looked at Ning Hong with a hint of pity in his eyes.

Ning Hong was baffled by his gaze.

"Grandpa, look at Dad." Cheng Yijin puffed and glared at Cheng Jinyong, feeling a bit puzzled. Those matters were supposed to be over, and back then, the family stood by her, believing in her. Was Deng Yiyi right, were those people from the past coming to cause trouble?

"Eldest son is right, you..." Mr. Cheng looked at Cheng Yijin’s face, suddenly feeling a heartache, and took out a pill from his collar to swallow.

"Dad, are you okay? If it’s too much for you, go upstairs. I’ll handle this matter." Cheng Jinyong, seeing Mr. Cheng like this, felt a wave of guilt; after all, he and his wife were partly to bla. They couldn’t even recognize their own child.

"I’m alright, I’m alright now." Mr. Cheng now felt fortunate that Xu Zongyin brought Mr. Chu upon his visit, handling things ticulously. No wonder he was able to carry on the Xu Family’s honor by himself in the past.

"Grandpa, what’s wrong with you?" Cheng Yijin asked with concern, then looked at Cheng Jinyong and huffed, "It’s all Dad’s fault, look how you’ve upset Grandpa."

"Don’t call Dad, I’m not your Dad." Cheng Jinyong felt blocked, his eyes reddening as he looked at Cheng Yijin.

"Dad, what are you saying?" Cheng Yijin looked at Cheng Jinyong in disbelief, her eyes instantly reddening, although she felt a twinge deep inside.

"What are you doing, talking nonsense, hurting our daughter’s heart over those unverified matters?" Ning Hong felt for her daughter, glancing at Cheng Jinyong before moving to comfort Cheng Yijin.

Cheng Jinyong grabbed Cheng Yijin with so force, tossing her aside a little.

"Ah—" Both Cheng Yijin and Ning Hong scread at the sa ti.

"What are you doing, Cheng Jinyong." Ning Hong was about to step forward but was stopped by Mr. Cheng.

"Daughter-in-law, sit down." Mr. Cheng spoke; regardless of her shock or astonishnt, Ning Hong remained silent.

"Dad, what’s happening?"

Not only Ning Hong, but the rest of the Cheng Family were also stunned, never having seen Mr. Cheng raise his voice at Cheng Yijin. In the past, whenever the eldest couple disciplined their child, Mr. Cheng would always intervene, protect her. This was the first ti he did not intervene.

Cheng Yijin’s heart turned cold instantly, filled with a very ominous premonition.

Cheng Jinyong sighed deeply, throwing a stack of reports onto the coffee table, "See for yourselves. The treasure we raised and cherished for twenty-one years actually belongs to soone else."

"Not completely soone else’s, she still carries half of our Cheng Family’s blood." Cheng Jinyong said with a bitter smile, "Who would have thought the Deng Family had such audacity to abduct our Cheng Family’s aunt for decades."

"They had children and swapped the child with Deng Family blood into ours, sothing unimaginable even with the boldest of hearts." Cheng Jinyong was so furious his eyes turned red.

"Boom—" The atmosphere in the living room exploded, and the mbers of the Cheng Family began to examine the reports laid on the coffee table.

"DNA testing, what does this an, the parent-child relationship between Cheng Yijin and Cheng Jinyong is only 20.33%, and with Ning Hong, it’s 0%?"

Ning Hong, working in the dical system, was familiar with DNA testing and hesitated a mont before grabbing the report. Her face turned pale as she read the data.

"What, what does this an? Cheng Jinyong, what do you an?" Ning Hong’s heart turned cold.

"Look at this report." Cheng Jinyong said, choking back emotions.

Ning Hong took the report, and after reading it, her body wobbled and she fainted imdiately. Cheng Jinyong quickly pinched her philtrum to revive her.

"What, she’s not our daughter?"

"She’s the granddaughter of our aunt and the third great uncle of the Deng Family, with so of our Cheng Family blood, but not our daughter." Cheng Jinyong said sorrowfully, "This is our real daughter."

Cheng Jinyong handed Ren Xuejuan’s report to Ning Hong, "Although the child didn’t grow up around us, she is still excellent, having just been accepted into Jing University this year."

Ning Hong held Ren Xuejuan’s report, feeling like everything today was a dream, bursting into tears.

Cheng Yijin watched the Cheng Family’s varied expressions from the side, her whole body trembling slightly. How could this be, how could this happen, why was it discovered, and of all days today?

Song Yiluo had already moved to the corner, trying her best to minimize her presence. Clearly, the Cheng Family’s nanny had a reason for not letting her in. Now that she knew the Cheng Family’s affairs, could she still count on their protection? Would she be silenced?

Song Yiluo shivered and secretly moved towards the exit.

"Song, you should leave today." Mr. Cheng noticed Song Yiluo and spoke, "I’ll have the driver take you."

"Thank you very much." Song Yiluo’s back was already drenched in cold sweat. Cheng Yijin didn’t have ti to worry about Song Yiluo, she could only muster a shocked expression, pretending not to know anything. Considering her relation to the Cheng Family’s aunt, she should garner more affection and care.
