Yi Roujing wasn’t willing to indulge the old lady, and stepped forward to shut the door of the compartnt with a swift motion, not forgetting to call out loudly, "Ma’am, don’t block the doorway of other people’s compartnt, it’s in the way."

The entrance beca quiet, but the compartnt next door beca lively. The old lady was upset and could only vent her anger on her daughter-in-law.

"Anmin and Anguo are truly miserable, having to share a room with such a person," Yi Roujing expressed her sympathy.

The train journey from Huaixi County to the provincial city took nearly eight hours. Yi Roujing watched the scenery outside the window for a while, but it was so repetitive that she lost interest and went to sleep.

"Why hasn’t Heping’s father and the others returned yet?" Yi Roujing murmured drowsily.

"I’ll go take a look." Ding Ancheng, sitting by Yi Roujing’s bed, reached out to touch the hair on her forehead.

This made Yi Roujing lose interest in sleeping; every ti this guy got close, her heart would race, making it impossible for her to sleep.

"Not sleepy?" Seeing Yi Roujing’s eyes wide open, Ding Ancheng slowly lowered his head.

Yi Roujing’s eyes grew wider and wider as she watched the handso face getting closer, then suddenly shut her eyes.

"Heh——" Ding Ancheng’s joyful laughter ca through, and Yi Roujing, annoyed, opened her eyes and glared at Ding Ancheng who was right in front of her.

"This is outside." Yi Roujing realized that Ding Ancheng was sowhat unapologetic, even though the book described differently. After he married Song Yiluo, they were a so-called talented couple, a golden boy and jade maiden, but it never ntioned him being this eager.

At least Yi Roujing didn’t have scenes of them ssing around outside in her mind; what’s happening now is sothing else.

"You..."

"Urgent call for assistance, are there any dical personnel on the train? There’s a passenger who needs help in the dining car! Urgent call for assistance, are there any dical personnel on the train? There’s a passenger who needs help in the dining car..."

Suddenly, the train’s speaker system emitted an urgent voice.

The words Yi Roujing was about to say were swallowed back, and she imdiately stood up, "I’ll go take a look."

"Together." Ding Ancheng and Yi Roujing quickly moved towards the dining car, which was in the middle of the train, with the sleeper compartnts at the front. After passing through three or four carriages, they saw passengers surrounding the dining car entrance.

"Excuse ——" Yi Roujing tried to squeeze in, but there were too many people.

Ding Ancheng, leveraging his height advantage, protected Yi Roujing as they pushed through the crowd and entered the dining car.

There weren’t many passengers in the dining car at the mont, just the train staff and a middle-aged man holding a stethoscope.

Sitting on the floor, struggling for breath, was Hu Zhishu. Yang Cuihu, looking full of panic, crouched beside him shaking his arm, "Teacher, teacher..."

"Is there no oxygen tank on the train? How are we supposed to treat him?" The middle-aged man cursed angrily, "Doesn’t he have an inhaler on him?"

"I, I don’t know." Yang Cuihu shook her head, crying and at a loss.

"Doctor, what should we do, what should we do?" The train attendant was also nervous, and the conductor who got the news also arrived.

Asthma, as soon as Yi Roujing saw Hu Zhishu’s condition, she knew and hurried forward, pushing everyone away from Hu Zhishu, "Everyone move aside, open all the windows in the carriage, irrelevant people please leave the carriage."

Ding Ancheng was the first to act, and with one person taking the lead, a second followed; all the windows in the dining car were opened. The conductor, seeing Yi Roujing’s deanor, though young, had no other options at the mont and instructed the attendants to clear the rest of the passengers out of the carriage.

Yi Roujing adjusted Hu Zhishu to lean forward, making him kneel with his upper body bent forward, continually speaking to him, "Mr. Hu, breathe slowly, breathe slowly."

Hu Zhishu’s lips and nails hadn’t turned purple, indicating the asthma attack wasn’t at its worst, but an asthma trigger was certainly present, which ant there must be an allergen around. Yi Roujing scanned the area and noticed fresh flowers with dewdrops placed on a dining table. She quickly grabbed them and threw them out the window.

Yang Cuihu’s face turned pale imdiately upon witnessing this because she was the one who had brought the flower. While passing through a carriage earlier, she had seen a child secretly exchanging things with flowers, and feeling compassionate, she traded a piece of candy for an orchid. When she arrived at the dining car, it seed that the teacher had seen the flower in her hand, and not long after, his condition had deteriorated.

"Does anyone have a needle?" Without silver needles, Yi Roujing had to ask for a sewing needle as Hu Zhishu’s condition had not improved, and without ergency asures, it would only worsen.

"There’s one on the train, I’ll get it." A crew mber quickly turned around and squeezed out after hearing Yi Roujing’s request.

"How much longer until the next station? Have you contacted the hospital’s ergency vehicles?" Yi Roujing asked the conductor.

"The next station is Yongning County, another thirty minutes. I’ve already contacted the ergency vehicles, and they will be waiting at the station when we arrive." The conductor remained calm and experienced, contacting them as soon as he got the news.

Yi Roujing crouched down to search through Hu Zhishu’s belongings, while the middle-aged doctor interjected, "I’ve already looked, there’s no inhaler."

Yi Roujing hadn’t missed the doctor’s words, but for soone with asthma not to carry an inhaler suggested the presence of other ergency dication. She indeed found a small wooden box containing two wax paper-wrapped pills.

Yi Roujing opened one to sniff, identifying the type of dicine and its ingredients as asthma pills, then instructed Ding Ancheng to take off Hu Zhishu’s clothes.

Breaking the pill into three parts, she rolled them into small balls and placed them on Hu Zhishu’s Feishu point, Dingchuan point, and Zhongfu point.

"Any adhesive tape?" Hearing this, the middle-aged doctor took dical tape from his wooden first aid box, and Yi Roujing used it to secure the small balls on the acupoints.

The attendant had returned with a needle, and Yi Roujing put on disposable dical gloves from the ergency kit and sanitized the needle with an alcohol swab before directly piercing Hu Zhishu’s Shangen point and Renzhong point.

Combined needle stimulation at acupuncture points with the application of asthma pills on acupoints, the rapid breathing symptoms of Hu Zhishu, which seed ready to suffocate at any mont, began to gradually ease.

People around could visibly see Hu Zhishu’s breathing slowing, and ten minutes later, Hu Zhishu was able to speak, "Rou, Roujing, you, you’ve done our family a great favor again."

The middle-aged doctor, seeing Hu Zhishu recovering, looked at Yi Roujing with a hint of admiration, "Comrade, are you a doctor at the traditional Chinese dicine hospital?"

Although it was a unique period, traditional Chinese dicine had not been entirely discarded. Large cities still had hospitals of traditional Chinese dicine, but they mainly practiced integrative dicine. Famous doctors who fully inherited traditional Chinese dicine had been toppled due to family lineage and other reasons, and they were becoming increasingly rare. Besides the influence of the tis, they were mainly impacted by Western dicine because Western dical treatnts were faster.
