“Yes, brother-in-law is back. He went to the village to buy groceries,” Su Xiu informed her.
The sisters hold great respect for Zhou Hengyang. It’s fine if he’s not home for meals, but when he returns, they couldn’t be casual anymore.
In the morning, even though Big sister didn’t get up, Su Xiu asked her brother-in-law and he said that Big Sister didn’t sleep well last night. “We saw Second aunt selling vegetables—vegetables stolen from our house last night,” Su Xiu said while washing the used baskets, plates, spoons, and other utensils thoroughly, and then putting them in the cupboard. Her voice filled with anger. “I’ve never met anyone as shameless as Second Aunt.”
“And what’s more surprising is that she was badly beaten last night, yet she still dared to go out today.” Su Wen was dumbfounded by Zhang Chunxiang’s audacity.
She never thought Zhang Chunxiang was such shameless.
“That’s her.
