The crowd gradually thinned as the party ended. The woman was so tipsy that the room seed to wobble and spin as she eagerly headed to the bedroom to have fun with her new husband.

"Dear, get ready... hiccup... Here I co." She burst out in a fit of giggles as she staggering toward the door on the left.

The man had changed into black overalls. He leaned against the bed handle, his eyes narrowing into green slits as he stared at the door in anticipation—swallowing hard as his mouth watered.

The woman, unaware of the danger, reached the door, fumbled with the doorknob to open the door.

Normally, she would know to push the doorknob to the right to open it, but with her drunken mind, she pressed it forward like she was flipping a switch.

"Hicc… an obstacle is in my way~ hicc… but I want to tap that ass~ Open dammit!" She switched from singing to banging on the door in frustration.

She had been starving for months; her two other husbands were in another city and couldn't follow her here—she thought she wouldn't get to satisfy her empty garden, but he showed up.

She giggled uncontrollably with happiness and turned the knob to the right this ti.

The man was about to lose patience and stand up when the door was pushed open, and a figure staggered into the room—her body reeking of liquor.

"Here I co!" the woman yelled and fell headfirst onto the bed, her arms wrapped around his legs, as she began pressing hurried, clumsy kisses on his thighs.

The man pushed her away in disgust. Her back hits the wall, giving her a mont of clear-headedness.

She looked up with a pained groan and t her husband's predatory, inhuman eyes. She blinked, thinking she was too drunk and was seeing things, so she blinked again with a burp leaving her lips.

The image remained the sa but beca blurred; everything around her spun as a wave of dread washed over her heart.

"Don't scare , dear, help your wife up and let's enjoy our wedding night." The woman called out, her body pulling back as the man stood up; instinct warned her to get far away from here.

"Dear, Dear, ugh…I can't believe I had to play around with my food…before I get to eat it." His expression was filled with disdain, a cold sneer on his lips.

His stomach growled from hunger, and he leaned in to pull the stunned woman by the leg as he headed to the bathroom.

"Stop! You're scaring . What do you an, food! Soone help…where are you taking ?!" the woman shouted in a trembling voice, fully alert and aware of the danger coming from this man's waves.

She struggled, kicking his legs, and she crawled towards the door, her eyes bulging in fear; her joyous mood vanished like smoke.

The man tsked and moved toward her with a frown. He reached for her hair and yanked her forward by her strands.

"Argh!" the woman cried out, pain ripping through her as tears stread down her face. Blood slid from the corner of her eye, marking the spot where a patch of hair had been violently torn away.

"Please let go. Please, I can give you all the money, please." The woman begged for her life as she cried harder—she wished soone would co to save her; she promised never to be lustful again.

The man ignored her pleas, his eyes fixed on the trail of blood in a trance as her face shifted halfway into a grey wolf.

"Fresh at." The man growled in satisfaction as he sniffed her, his mouth watering from the freshness of her at.

The woman froze when she caught his transformation in her peripheral vision—her mind couldn't handle the shock, and she fainted out of fear.

He quickly took her to the bathroom, since it was easier to wash away her blood and give him ti to escape the island before anyone realized she was missing.

He tore her clothes apart and lunged in, his fangs aiming for her throat when he suddenly froze.

"Who is there?!" he shouted, sniffing the air to find the intruder. He tossed the woman to the ground and rushed into the room to deal with the intruder before it's too late.

He hurried out of the room and went into the living room, where a red-haired woman was staring at the paper designs on the wall. He couldn't see her face because her back was to him, and the room lights were off.

The man's panic eased a bit, and he assud Cyra was a guest who had arrived late to congratulate him on his wedding. He flipped the switch, and the room lit up.

"Madam, please go back. The party has ended, and my wife is currently unavailable to attend to you." He said firmly yet politely, wanting her to leave since she didn't know anything.

Hiding her remains would be a hassle and could attract the island owner's attention.

This thought flickered in his mind, and he waited for the woman to leave with a shy smile that froze at Cyra's following words.

"I don't think it's part of the ceremony to eat one's spouse… or am I mistaken?" Cyra asked, turning to face the man whose face had twisted with murderous intent.

"Since you know too much, you'll beco my food as well…pity, you're so beautiful and could beco my lover." His tone was filled with regret, but that didn't stop him from lunging forward decisively, his claws aid at her heart.

His claws were a hair's breadth from her chest when Cyra grabbed his wrists and crushed his bones with a snap.

A shrill scream escaped the man's lips, his face showing pain and a flicker of fear in his eyes as he t her cold gaze.

"So you're a cannibal mutt, huh?" Cyra asked lazily, eyes fixed on the fur sprouting from his body.

He tried to pull his hand away from her tight grip, but she didn't move at all—his fear deepening as he used all his strength to push her back, yet she still wouldn't budge.

He has always been proud of his wolf-like strength, capable of punching a hole through a boulder without breaking a sweat—now he felt like a helpless child in her hands.

"What are you? Are you like ?" he asked in a trembling whisper, sensing she was a rogue supernatural like him.

"Why did you have to marry her if you knew she was your food…and on my island?" Cyra asked, the aura around her swelling with waves of murderous intent and barely contained fury as she held the man with an emotionless gaze.

His legs weakened, and he began to tremble as terror overwheld him, his face paling and heaving as he struggled to breathe under the crushing pressure.

'Run!' He didn't hesitate and tried to shift into his wolf, but Cyra was quicker; she tapped his spine, and a sickening crack echoed through the room.

"Ahhh! Help!" he scread through a haze of pain, hoping the neighbors would hear him, but no one ca out, or those who tried to help were blocked by Nicole.

"Don't worry—Madam is handling a criminal. Please return to your hos," Nicole assured the crowd.

They obeyed, though their minds buzzed with curiosity; they knew who Nicole was and trusted his words far more than those of a groom they had only just t.
