"Qin Yuyan grasped it as soon as it was explained. Wang Mu then watched him begin to fish. His comprehension was indeed quite high."

Unfortunately, his luck was rely average. The fishing line twitched several tis, but he always reeled in an empty hook.

Qin Yuyan was so frustrated he felt like blasting the creek pool with a spell.

Fortunately, Wang Mu talked him out of it.

It wasn’t until the fifth attempt that the fishing line jerked violently; clearly, a fish had taken the bait.

"Here it cos!" Qin Yuyan suddenly shouted excitedly.

"Judging by the intensity of the pull, it should be the first type of fish. Use the strength technique I ntioned. Gently play the fish, and you should be able to reel it in within about twenty breaths," Wang Mu instructed from the side.

Qin Yuyan was quite dexterous, ticulously executing the techniques Wang Mu had described.

He almost had it reeled in when it nearly escaped. But at the last mont, he summoned a current of water, trapping the fish in a vortex before pulling it ashore.

Although using a spell felt a bit like cheating, he had, in the end, caught the fish.

"Brother Wang, I caught it!" Qin Yuyan exclaid, incredibly excited. A subtle sense of joy and satisfaction filled him, making him montarily oblivious to everything else.

Seeing this smile, Wang Mu nodded. Very good, he thought. It seems the world is about to gain another fishing enthusiast.

"Congratulations!" Wang Mu said.

"Brother Wang, I want to try again!" Qin Yuyan’s face bead. "This fishing feels amazing! My technique is far inferior to yours, though. These fish are incredibly resistant to spells; my Flow Vortex Technique almost failed to hold it just now."

"These are no ordinary fish; naturally, they’re quite formidable."

Comparatively, the fish in the Linglong Love Abyss were even more formidable.

Qin Yuyan cast his line again, his gaze fixed on the creek pool.

This ti, his luck seed to have improved—perhaps it was beginner’s luck.

The water erupted, splashing several ters high!

"Brother Wang, it’s a big one!" Qin Yuyan infused his Spiritual Power into the fishing rod, clutching it firmly.

"It’s not just a big fish," Wang Mu said in surprise. "It’s a new species! Be careful!"

As the splashes intensified, the fishing line grew taut to its limit, the rod bending to a ninety-degree angle.

The underwater fish pulled with such trendous force that Qin Yuyan was dragged back and forth. It felt less like he was reeling in the fish and more like the fish was reeling him in...

"Brother Wang, I can’t hold on much longer! It’s about to get away!" Qin Yuyan cried out urgently.

At that mont, Wang Mu imdiately walked over, positioned himself beside Qin Yuyan, and gripped the rod tightly.

Their arms pressed close as they both exerted their strength.

Wang Mu focused, sensing the fish’s imnse power through the rod, his expression turning slightly grim.

anwhile, Qin Yuyan was slightly taken aback by their sudden close proximity, especially at such a mont.

He turned slightly, gazing at Wang Mu’s profile, montarily lost in thought.

"Channel your Spiritual Power along with mine!" Wang Mu instructed.

"Oh, right, right!" Qin Yuyan quickly replied.

Afterward, Wang Mu continued the struggle, and after a quarter of an hour, a giant fish, over ten ters long, was pulled from the water.

"It’s huge!" Qin Yuyan gasped. "How can this creek pool support such a gigantic fish? Has it beco a Fierce Beast?"

"No, this is likely just a rare, top-grade fish species," Wang Mu said after a glance. "This fish is spindle-shaped, with a tail like scissors and diagonal fins like oars, resembling a type of small Sharp Shark. It’s brimming with Spiritual Power but lacks significant Spiritual Wisdom. Its eyes hold a profound light, making it seem like a Fierce Beast, but it’s actually just a very ferocious fish species."

"However, this fish is abundant in Spiritual Power, rich in water-attribute essence, and fiercely aggressive—definitely not a benign creature. As for its benefits when consud, I estimate it can improve a Cultivator’s Spirit Root quality and enhance the power of their Water Elent techniques."

Wang Mu walked over and knocked the big fish unconscious with a punch.

"It has such capabilities?" Qin Yuyan was taken aback.

"Of course," Wang Mu nodded. "However, judging by the conditions of this creek pool, there are probably only one or two of this type of fish, so catching one isn’t easy. You cultivate Water Magic, so let’s butcher it later and eat it together."

"Great, great!" Qin Yuyan grinned, seemingly having forgotten sothing.

"Let fish for a bit. I’ll see if I can reel in those two Remnants!" Wang Mu said, walking over and taking the fishing rod.

Qin Yuyan pulled up a small stool and sat beside him, watching Wang Mu fish. He chuckled, "That might not be so easy..."

However, not much ti passed before Wang Mu’s fishing line twitched. A dark, cloth-like python shed was pulled up.

"Look." Wang Mu gave a slight smile.

Qin Yuyan was dumbfounded. He can actually fish those up? He watched Wang Mu, growing even more perplexed.

That wasn’t all. Soon after, the second Remnant was also fished up.

Qin Yuyan was speechless. This is too much! he thought. Those Remnants aren’t even fish; they wouldn’t bite. They’re inanimate objects, so how could he fish them up? Is his luck really that good?

"We’ll each take one," Wang Mu said, glancing at the Remnants.

These materials, shed by a Spirit Beast that had reached the Golden Core Realm and soaked for countless years, shimred with a watery luster. They were clearly top-grade materials.

Moreover, they were excellent primary materials for crafting Taoist robes, vestnt robes, and other such Spiritual Artifacts!

"Then... thank you, Brother Wang," Qin Yuyan said, though he seed to want to say more.

"Don’t ntion it. We ventured into the cave together," Wang Mu waved his hand. "It’s only right that we share the spoils."

This is mainly to increase our affinity, Wang Mu thought. Qin Yuyan seems like a good Daoist friend. If I raise our affinity level, perhaps he’ll gift so good things in the future.

Then, Wang Mu used the Fire Control Technique to start grilling the fish. Freshly caught, and soon to be freshly eaten.
