"What favor?" Ao Qing, realizing he could no longer feign ignorance, asked warily. "If you're thinking of asking for a marriage, I can't help you with that. Don't forget about the Great Immortal…"

Ao Qing fell silent for a mont.

Ao Qing thought it over and found it sowhat reasonable. As a re Golden Core cultivator, what could he do if an Ascension Realm powerhouse took an interest in him? "You've never even seen the Third Princess. How can you be so sure?" Ao Qing felt a little displeased and couldn't understand why the Great Immortal, and even that Ascending Immortal Ancestor, would take an interest in this person.

"Find out more about what?" Ao Qing asked.
"The Five-Colored Divine Gold…" Wang Mu stated.
Ao Qing was taken aback. "You've co to our Dongling Dragon Palace for this?"
"That's right…"
Ao Qing pondered for a mont. "That's probably a bit difficult."
"How difficult?"
"More difficult than becoming the Third Princess's Prince Consort."
Wang Mu was silent.
"Why do you say that?" Wang Mu asked, surprised.
"Years ago, the Great Immortal used the Five-Colored Divine Gold to create the Sea Suppressing Divine Pillar in the Heavenly Sea. There isn't much left now," Ao Qing explained. "Currently, only the Dragon King can use a small amount of it. If you want to obtain this item, the difficulty is roughly equivalent to becoming the Dragon King of the Dongling Dragon Palace."
Damn it, Wang Mu thought. That really does seem even more difficult than becoming the Third Princess's Prince Consort.
"Isn't there any other way?" Wang Mu asked.

It really is good to have connections, Wang Mu thought.
Ao Qing observed Wang Mu's sincere expression. Considering it was for the Great Immortal's sake, he decided it would be acceptable to take him to et the Dragon King. Whether Wang Mu could obtain the item or not would be up to him.
They arrived at the court in the rear of the Dragon Palace.
anwhile, the middle-aged man and the middle-aged woman had been waiting anxiously. Before long, they saw their daughter returning with a Human Clan cultivator.
The two exchanged a look, their eyes filled with imnse joy. That was incredibly fast, wasn't it? they thought.
Their gazes swept over Wang Mu like scanners, sizing him up from head to toe.

The couple looked at each other, apparently very satisfied with his physique and handso features.
"Excellent, excellent!" the Old Dragon King said with a beaming smile.
What in the world? Wang Mu wondered. So this is the Dragon King? He seems rather approachable, doesn't he?
"Um…" Ao Qing quickly recounted what had happened to avoid any misunderstanding.
"The Five-Colored Divine Gold?" The Old Dragon King mused for a few seconds. "So, it's for this item… This is a Supre Treasure of our Dragon Palace… If you want it…"
The Old Dragon King looked at Wang Mu and Ao Qing, then exchanged a aningful glance with the middle-aged woman beside him.
"Here's the proposal…" the Old Dragon King said with a smile. "Human cultivator, I observe that you have an extraordinary bearing and your cultivation is quite good. If you beco my daughter's—that is, the Third Dragon Princess's—partner, and beco the Prince Consort of our Dongling Sea Dragon Palace, then I can give you so of the Five-Colored Divine Gold."
Wang Mu was speechless.

"May I ask who your Taoist couple is?" the middle-aged woman asked, continuing to observe Wang Mu. "I feel as though I've seen you sowhere before… What is your na?"
"Wang Mu."
"Wang Mu?" The Old Dragon King was taken aback. "Are you Wang Mu from the Sword Sect, number one on the Heavenly Pride Rank? Wait a mont… your Taoist couple, could she be that Ancestor from the Dan King Sect?"
Wang Mu nodded.
The Old Dragon King's and the middle-aged woman's eyes lit up.
"In that case…" The Old Dragon King burst into hearty laughter. "Then it doesn't matter if you have a Taoist couple…"
"Dragon King, what do you an by that?" Wang Mu asked.
"It ans that if you beco the Prince Consort of my Dongling Sea, I will imdiately give you the Five-Colored Divine Gold," the Old Dragon King said with a smile.
"Ahem… but I already *have* a Taoist couple," Wang Mu coughed.
"No worries, no worries at all…" The Old Dragon King's face was wreathed in smiles. "For us to be connected by marriage to the Dan King Sect's Ancestor would also be a fortunate destiny for our Dongling Sea."
