Little Jiao Huo stood not far beneath the dragon's head, her hand covered in ice-blue blood. In her other hand, she held a palm-sized scale radiating with five-colored light—this had to be the Five-Colored Divine Gold.
"What happened?" Wang Mu walked over and asked in a deep voice.
"I don't know..." Little Jiao Huo sounded panicked. "I just touched it with both hands at the location Sister indicated, and then the scale automatically fell off, and it started bleeding nonstop..."
Wang Mu frowned slightly. "Miss Ao, what's your condition?"
"...I... I'm fine..." a weak voice ca slowly from the True Dragon Body.
"You don't look fine to ..." Wang Mu looked at the spot that wouldn't stop bleeding. The Essence Blood contained a faint chill and an extrely pure energy aura. This had to be the Dragon Clan's Essence Blood, and not just any ordinary dragon blood.

He hadn't expected the removal of the Reversed Scale to cause such a situation. That Old Dragon King hadn't made it clear. Was he setting up his own daughter?
The tiny droplet circled Wang Mu before flying out and landing on the wound, emitting a faint water glow.
MMM. The True Dragon Body suddenly let out a low hum.
It seems to be effective... Wang Mu thought, breathing a sigh of relief.
Before long, the water glow transford into a pitch-black dragon scale, slowly rging with Ao Qing's True Dragon Body. The blood finally stopped.
When the tiny droplet returned, it was much thinner. Wang Mu felt that his Mystic Water Golden Core had also dwindled significantly; it had clearly consud a massive amount of energy.

"How do you feel now?" Wang Mu asked.
Ao Qing soared once again, her ice-blue dragon body shining brightly as it radiated a faint water glow. "I'm fine now..." she said softly.
"Good to hear you're fine." Wang Mu thought for a mont, then asked, "Will losing this Reversed Scale affect your cultivation?"
"Yes, but not much," Ao Qing said. "It's just that..."
"Just what?"
"The Reversed Scale you just reforged with Mystic Water Power... Are you alright?" Ao Qing asked.
"What could be wrong with ?" Wang Mu shook his head.
"But that was my Reversed Scale..." Ao Qing said quietly.
"...What about the Reversed Scale?" Wang Mu asked, sowhat surprised. "It was just so depletion; it doesn't affect much."
"How can it not affect you much?" Ao Qing glared with her dragon eyes. "Even if you're close to the Fifth Layer, approaching Nascent Soul, the effort to forge that Reversed Scale with Mystic Water Power should have completely exhausted your Golden Core Power, right? Shouldn't you be depleted?"
Wang Mu thought, I have several Golden Cores; what's this to ? Of course, he didn't voice this thought.
