I just don't know how much it consus.
"Let's take it slow for now."
Wang Mu waited quietly.
After a while, the sword light around Heroine Yan dissipated, and she appeared almost as before.
Only, the cinnabar mole at the corner of her right eyebrow, for so reason, added a few more touches of charm. This created a sowhat contradictory and discordant effect against her cool cheeks. Yet, it also brought a subtly different feeling, making one unable to resist looking a few more tis.
As he watched, Wang Mu found his mind wandering back to their recent sword practice...
"How's your recovery?" Wang Mu asked.
"It's passable," Elder Yan responded laconically.
"So, you haven't fully recovered?" Wang Mu frowned. "Such a Divine Artifact can't completely heal you?"
"Could another two do the job?" Wang Mu asked.
Elder Yan's expression softened, but she rely shook her head slightly and said softly, "These items are precious, and it was not easy for you to obtain them. If you wish to ascend to the Moon Palace again, you will need to endure another trial."
That won't be necessary, I still have several more... Fortunately, I was smart enough to get a few extra back then, Wang Mu thought.
"It's no matter," Wang Mu said.
Elder Yan said, "The Yin Yuan Fruit and Pan Yang Peach are Innate Divine Treasures born from Yin-Yang Convergence. Fully absorbing and nurturing them to restore the Primordial Spirit isn't sothing that can be done overnight."
"One is enough."
Wang Mu was taken aback. He understood this much—these two divine items were potent, yet their benefits were like trickling streams; they worked gradually. To fully and directly absorb their power in one go was impossible.
Wang Mu closed his eyes to sense his condition and indeed found remnants of the Pan Yang Peach's Yang energy pervading his entire body.
"So..." Wang Mu pondered for a mont. "Does more sword practice help unleash the remaining effects and aid your recovery?"
Elder Yan remained silent, turning her head aside.
Wang Mu had co to understand Heroine Yan's personality quite thoroughly; her silence spoke volus.
"Shall we practice swordsmanship again?" Wang Mu suggested.
"Do not beco obsessed," Elder Yan warned, her back to Wang Mu as she shook her head.
"Obsessed?" Wang Mu mused, his gaze suddenly falling to the ground.
The grass by the pond had been sealed by a Barrier, yet one could still faintly make out the finger marks on the ground. Wang Mu had borne similar marks, but after his Nascent Soul formation, his body had beco purified and had already recovered.
Seeing that Wang Mu was silent, Elder Yan assud he understood and turned around, only to see him looking at the traces on the ground. She froze for a mont, then hurriedly walked over and, without a word, shuffled her feet a few tis to smooth over the marks.
Wang Mu was speechless. Watching Heroine Yan's subtle action, he smiled.
Their sword practice those few days had been intense; it was hard to say who had been more enamored. Of course, the Yin Yuan Fruit and Pan Yang Peach played a major part. These two living treasures, born from Yin-Yang Convergence, could induce a strong sense of intimacy when consud by soone of the opposite sex, leading to an unconscious desire for intimacy. Not to ntion, Wang Mu had carefully prepared himself before practicing swordsmanship. Only then could his sword light be fully revealed during their practice.
"There are marks in other places too," Wang Mu gestured towards other areas.
Heroine Yan was speechless.
"Let's practice so more," Wang Mu suggested. "Mmm, my Nascent Soul isn't stable. Elder, please help stabilize it."
Upon hearing this, Heroine Yan did not refuse but instead glanced at the sky and murmured, "You need to undergo your Tribulation soon; there isn't enough ti."
"That's alright," Wang Mu insisted. "I can be quick."
Heroine Yan looked puzzled. Quick with what? She was sowhat lost.
Heroine Yan, unversed in worldly matters, was no match for Wang Mu in this regard—at least, not in terms of understanding.
Of course, that only applied to awareness. When it ca to actual strength...
It was the sa old adage: the physical bodies of those in the Ascension Realm were overwhelmingly powerful.
Fortunately, having cultivated his Immortal Infant, and with the aid of the Pan Yang Peach, coupled with his peak swordsmanship skills and techniques, Wang Mu was able to maintain the upper hand while practicing with Heroine Yan.
With the rather reserved and conservative Heroine Yan, Wang Mu was in no hurry, preferring to take things slowly.
Heroine Yan seed to have grasped the aning of his words. She glared at Wang Mu, then looked down at the ground and said, "Don't leave traces..."
"Alright, then let's change locations," Wang Mu gestured towards the distant pond.
"No..." Heroine Yan glanced at it hastily before refusing.
"Why not?" Wang Mu asked in surprise. "Didn't we also practice swordsmanship by the pond in the Illusion Realm?"
Heroine Yan did not respond.
The Illusion Realm was the Illusion Realm...
Seeing her reaction, Wang Mu chuckled, then took hold of Heroine Yan's hand and started walking towards the pond.
Heroine Yan resisted while whispering, "Let go of ..."
You're an Ascension Expert; wouldn't it be easy for you to break free in reality? Wang Mu thought.
"Alright," Wang Mu released one hand and reached for the other.
And so, Heroine Yan, half-resisting and half-complying, followed Wang Mu to the pond...
This 'quick session' lasted no more than an hour. Unlike their previous days-long sessions, which were mostly about assimilation, this ti Wang Mu truly felt the power of the Mixed Elents Heart Sword. The effect was trendous.
After dressing, Wang Mu felt refreshed all over. It had to be said, the experience of 'quickly' practicing swordsmanship with the foremost Sword Immortal of the Nine Provinces was exquisite.
"I'm about to undergo my Tribulation," Wang Mu said, looking back at Heroine Yan, who was imrsed in the pond.
Only ripples stirred in the pond, as if the lingering charm had not yet dissipated.
There was no reply.
The next second, a purple Light Pearl flew out from within, landing next to Wang Mu. The purple Light Pearl was filled with flickering thunder, dense and intense, looking quite dramatic.
Wang Mu was taken aback. What is this?
The Little Thunder Spirit inside him suddenly beca excited.
Wang Mu suddenly recalled Sect Master Jian ntioning the customary gift new Ascension experts from the Supre Mysterious Dao Sect would offer when seeking guidance. It seed to be so kind of Thunder Spirit Pearl.
