She slept in on Saturday, and by the ti she woke up, it was already past nine o’clock.

She picked up her phone, checked the ti, and then got ready to get up.

The weather was nice today, so she planned to air out the bedding and then wash the sheets and covers.

Once she moves to the third floor, she won’t need to find a weekend to do this; she can just air them out on the balcony anyti.

She’s so excited; just thinking about living in a big house soon makes Zhang Yu’s mood soar.

She took the washed sheets to the rooftop and discovered that the door to the big room on the third floor was open and it was a ss inside.

Moving out? Zhang Yu found it a bit strange. Hadn’t the landlord ntioned that they would move out when the lease was up? Why were they packing now?

Seeing Zhang Yu, the tenant recalled the landlord ntioning Zhang Yu’s interest in moving in, "Little Yu, would you like to move in on Monday?"

Ah? Zhang Yu was quite surprised, "Are you moving out so soon?"

The other party was quite helpless, "We can’t afford a house here; we bought one next door."

Zhang Yu knew that area; many people had moved to buy houses there. A house for several thousand was quite attractive, wasn’t it?

As for the commute, living in City S doesn’t an shorter commute tis, does it?

Her daily commute ti was envied by many; after all, being able to sleep in for an extra half hour is really wonderful.

The female tenant was also helpless, "There’s no other way. We are getting married, and we can’t live in a rented place."

Zhang Yu understood, "Okay, but could you clean up the place before you move out?"

Seeing all the garbage on the floor, Zhang Yu didn’t want to move in and start with a big cleanup.

The female tenant kept nodding, "We’ll clean it up; otherwise, the deposit will be deducted for cleaning fees."

For them, a cleaning fee of several hundred was not a small amount, so they were keen on saving any amount they could.

"I’ll make sure it’s clean." Zhang Yu nodded, "Alright, I’ll pay the rent when the ti cos."

There was still over a month’s rent, and Zhang Yu would certainly pay it.

The other party hesitated, "Do you want the furniture?"

"We bought it when we first moved in."

"Don’t worry, we’ve taken good care of it." Seeing that Zhang Yu was easygoing, the other party spoke up.

They were obviously trying to sell the unwanted furniture to her. Zhang Yu thought about it and decided to take a look. If it wasn’t good, she could refuse.

The other party let Zhang Yu in to take a look, and the place was indeed ssy. Zhang Yu quickly glanced around.

If possible, she would prefer to buy new furniture; it’s more convenient. But since this is a rental, there’s no need to spend a lot on new furniture.

Plus, she’d need people to deliver and assemble it, and more importantly, she’d have to choose it at a furniture store, all of which would take ti.

This is a big issue for her; the ti spent looking for furniture could be used to do so many other things.

"Alright." Zhang Yu listed the furniture she wanted and made sure with the landlord what was originally there and what was bought later.

"Eight thousand." After confirming the furniture for Zhang Yu, the other party quoted a price.

What? They actually quoted eight thousand? Zhang Yu was speechless at their offer.

Even though it wasn’t the internet age and furniture prices weren’t that transparent, how could non-solid wood furniture be so expensive?

Zhang Yu almost wanted to ask if she had a face that scread "sucker," because why else would they quote such a price?

The landlord and her daughter-in-law were also shocked by the price and were continuously shaking their heads.

Zhang Yu couldn’t be bothered to argue with them and straightforwardly said, "Final offer, five thousand."

"If you agree, I’ll pay you along with the rent after you move out."

"If not, I won’t need it. It’s just a bit more hassle, but that’s fine, at least I can buy the furniture I like."

The furniture they bought wasn’t really to Zhang Yu’s taste; it was just for convenience. Otherwise, she really didn’t need it.

The other party knew their original price was steep, but assud Zhang Yu had a good job with no inco issues.

They hadn’t expected her to haggle so fiercely; they thought quoting high would leave room for negotiation.

The price they had in mind was six thousand, but they didn’t anticipate Zhang Yu being so firm and offering such a price.

"This price won’t work; how about seven thousand five?" They thought about it and deducted five hundred, believing they had conceded a lot.

They thought they had conceded, but it ant nothing to Zhang Yu. She was just too lazy to haggle and gave a fixed price, yet they still wanted to negotiate this way.

Zhang Yu felt exhausted, "Five thousand, if you can accept, great; if not, forget it."

Zhang Yu reiterated, and although the young couple wasn’t satisfied with the price, they knew raising it was impossible.

After thinking it over, they agreed, "Alright." Moving to the neighboring city and transferring it seed too troubleso.

They had inquired at second-hand stores too, and it wasn’t worth much, barely three thousand. They’d need to hire soone to move it and rent a vehicle.

Comparatively, selling it to Zhang Yu was the best choice.

"Alright." The two quickly made the decision.

"Okay, after you move out tomorrow, I’ll co to see the furniture." She could give them the money now, but decided to wait until the handover just in case they took a few things during the move.

Back in her place, seeing all the stuff, though the room wasn’t big and there shouldn’t be much, she knew sorting everything wouldn’t be easy.

Zhang Yu thought about it and decided to extend renting this small room for another week, moving things slowly.

Most things she could handle, but the refrigerator posed a challenge.

She had bought the refrigerator when she moved in, and she was reluctant to sell it second-hand to the next tenant.

She decided to see if anyone could help move the fridge to the third floor, even if it ant paying a service fee; she was willing.

As for the rest, the smaller items could be taken, while those that couldn’t would be left for the next tenant.

The landlord knew Zhang Yu needed the place for a few more days and agreed to charge rent until the weekend.

"The big house sitting empty for a day costs one hundred." The landlord’s wife stopped Zhang Yu from insisting on paying more rent.

Though the house rented easily, they were selective tenants, and finding soone suitable wasn’t easy.

Given the landlord’s stance, Zhang Yu didn’t argue. She decided to leave so items in her current room, potentially raising the rental price for future leases.
