Zhang Yu went to the bookstore to buy a dictionary and unexpectedly ran into Wu Minxia there.

"What a coincidence." Wu Minxia was surprised to see Zhang Yu here and indeed quite shocked.

"What a coincidence." Running into each other without planning it really is fate.

Wu Minxia nodded and peeked at the book in Zhang Yu’s hand, a really thick dictionary. Upon seeing the title, she couldn’t help but twitch her lips.

"Are you planning to study abroad?" Otherwise, why would you look at this?

"No," Zhang Yu shook his head, "I’m building up my vocabulary. Whether in high school or university, vocabulary is king."

"No matter what tense it is, knowing the aning of more words helps you understand what to do."

"Otherwise, even if you know the tense, what’s the use if you don’t understand the aning of the word?" Zhang Yu explained simply.

That’s right, Wu Minxia’s eyes lit up, "Why am I so foolish to have forgotten this?"

"Vocabulary is the most important." Wu Minxia thought of this and promptly went to pick the sa book.

The two of them bought their books after discussing it, "Let’s have lunch together," Wu Minxia invited as it was already ti to eat.

Zhang Yu shook his head, "I won’t. My dad’s making cold noodles today." He wondered how it would taste.

Cold noodles? Wu Minxia had only had chilled noodles, never cold noodles, "What’s it like?"

Zhang Yu briefly described the preparation, "Of course, I don’t know how my dad’s version will taste."

Hearing this in the sumr, Wu Minxia felt a refreshing coolness, "I’d like to try it too."

Since Wu Minxia expressed interest, Zhang Yu invited her to join him for lunch.

At this ti, they arrived around lunchti, and there were quite a few cars parked outside. Upon entering the restaurant, they discovered it was just past eleven, yet there were hardly any open seats left.

The business seed good; they’d heard before that Zhang Yu’s father was a skilled cook and owned a well-known restaurant.

It wasn’t exaggerated. Even in the heat of sumr, there were so many people dining.

"Find a seat," Zhang Yu greeted Feng Liya and planned to head to the kitchen. Rembering he brought a friend, he asked Wu Minxia to find a place to sit instead.

Wu Minxia knew the Zhang Family would waive her al fee, and she sowhat regretted suggesting this.

Looking around, she noticed a foldable table near the bar, "Can we eat here?"

"Sure, sure." Feng Liya didn’t stand on ceremony with Wu Minxia and helped set up the table.

Shortly after, Zhang Yu ca out carrying two large bowls, "One bowl each."

Such a big bowl? Wu Minxia was stunned, "I, I don’t have such a big appetite." How could she eat all this? It was truly overwhelming.

"The bowl looks big, but it’s mostly broth," Zhang Yu set the big bowl down and let Wu Minxia see for herself, "I added so extra beef."

Looking at the broth in the bowl, Wu Minxia breathed a sigh of relief, "Is this...?" There was a lot of beef in there; she felt like there were at least three to four ounces of stewed beef.

"Oh, you eat chicken feet, right?" After confirming Wu Minxia’s preferences, Zhang Yu went back to the kitchen again.

Soon, he returned with a large plate piled high with food. Wu Min Dan opened her mouth wide, almost asking if Zhang Yu intended to treat her like a pig to be fattened.

Otherwise, why serve so much food? Wu Minxia had the sudden urge to turn and run.

"Our family’s stewed dishes are truly exceptional, don’t worry, it looks like a lot, but it’s not," Zhang Yu was startled by Wu Minxia’s horrified expression.

"Chicken feet look like there’s a lot, but there are many bones."

"And pig’s trotters, lots of bones too. But I’ll tell you, they’re rich in collagen, which is good for us."

Zhang Yu sat down and began eating with Wu Minxia.

Well, since I’m here, I might as well make myself at ho. Given the situation, Wu Minxia plopped down and began to sample the food Zhang Yu had highly recomnded.

"This stew is really so delicious." Her eyes lit up as soon as the food hit her mouth; it was truly delicious. She’d eaten a lot of stewed dishes, but few could surpass this taste.

Upon hearing his friend’s praise, Zhang Yu was proud and happy, "See, my dad’s stewed dishes are truly exceptional."

"Have so more." Zhang Yu didn’t ntion sending so for her to take ho, so she wouldn’t feel obliged.

Wu Minxia slowly started eating. Although the restaurant’s air conditioning was on, the room was crowded, and the heat from the food made the cooling effect less noticeable.

Also, they had co in from outside, feeling warm, and after eating the cold noodles, they indeed felt much cooler.

People going in and out of the restaurant passed by the cash register, catching sight of the cold noodles Zhang Yu and Wu Minxia were eating.

Seeing two lively young girls eating inside, people couldn’t help but glance a few tis, especially at what they were eating, sothing they hadn’t seen before, piquing their curiosity.

They asked and were told it was cold noodles with ice cubes, and so wondered if it might be too cold.

"Not too bad, it’s the perfect sumr bite; really delicious, even better than cold noodles," Zhang Yu ardently recomnded.

"You could order one to share among a few people," Zhang Yu suggested, "If it feels too cold, just fish it out of the broth and eat it like cold noodles."

The young man thought Zhang Yu’s suggestion made sense, "Why don’t we order one too?"

Feng Liya had cold noodles for lunch today and honestly found them appetizing. She hadn’t yet figured out how to promote them, and didn’t expect her daughter would bring a friend to eat, imdiately drawing attention.

"Sure, one bowl is 38," Feng Liya introduced the dish.

The young man was shocked to hear it was so expensive, and those nearby who were tempted to try backed off.

"It contains stewed beef and eggs among other things, quite richly prepared," Feng Liya briefly explained.

"Wait, let make one up. If you like it, then order; if not, don’t."

Feng Liya quickly prepared a bowl of cold noodles, and everyone saw the ingredients, "It’s actually not expensive."

On top was a thick layer of stewed beef, including mung bean sprouts and a stewed egg, "This is really good."

Given that the Zhang Family’s stewed beef sells for 40 per pound, and there seed to be four to five ounces here, plus the egg, etc.

"I’ll take it." The young man quickly reserved the bowl of cold noodles.

So had thought if he didn’t want it, they would buy it themselves; such a large bowl could fill a family of three quite well.

"Alright." Feng Liya had been wondering if anyone would buy it at this price, seeing as a bowl of cold noodles was just a few bucks, yet they managed to make a sale.
