Capítulo 1842: Chapter 1843: Wealthy Family’s Eldest Granddaughter 106

Zhang Hai had imagined many tis how glorious and proud he would be once he took power. Yet, it never really happened; one day he did take power, but it was nothing like he imagined.

Whether it’s Zhang Hujuan or Zhang Jiang, they were both driven out of the company according to his initial plan, especially Zhang Jiang, who no longer had any shares. The major shareholder was the old man, and it would be his in the future.

What he didn’t expect was that before leaving, Zhang Jiang managed to carve out a significant part of the company, although he took several plots of land, they were all pri locations.

Every ti Zhang Hai thought about those pri plots being handed over to Zhang Jiang, his mood turned sour.

If possible, he really didn’t want to give those plots to Zhang Jiang. But of course, this idea was rely a thought. If not giving the land, then he would have to give money, and the old man didn’t have that much money.

As for the money Zhao Lei had, it wasn’t much either, essentially just a pathetic amount of money, not nearly enough. So apart from agreeing to give him the land, what else could be done?

Fortunately, the situation with the real estate company was pretty good. Although so people left with Zhang Jiang, many stayed behind, and they were the backbone of the real estate company, which gave Zhang Hai so relief.

He wasn’t completely inactive either; knowing that Zhang Jiang took the land, he would certainly start a real estate company. He used his connections and resources to make banks reluctant to loan Zhang Jiang money.

Even though he had never managed a real estate company, he was very clear about the trick inside, which was the necessity of having both the land and enough money. Lacking any one of those, the real estate company couldn’t be sustained.

The Zhang Group had been declining recently, but suppressing Zhang Jiang wasn’t going to be too difficult.

Zhang Hai knew Zhang Jiang would surely be all tangled up about money. Once he realized he couldn’t start the real estate company without the Zhang Group’s support, what else could he do besides coming to beg?

Everyone knew the Zhang Group heir battle had settled, and in the end, it was the third son who laughed to the last. Princess, the eldest son, and the second son all withdrew from the Zhang Group, selling all their shares to Zhang Fugui.

Everyone marveled at the third son’s impressive ans and were more concerned about where Zhang Jiang was heading, given that the real estate company of the Zhang Group had been built from scratch under his leadership.

They also knew Zhang Hai was truly rciless towards Zhang Jiang. Upon taking power, he liaised with banks, stating the Zhang Group would not endorse Zhang Jiang’s actions.

The implication was that the Zhang Group and Zhang Jiang had a complete split, and once this news spread, everyone set their sight on Zhang Jiang’s land holdings, as those plots were indeed pri.

They were waiting; once Zhang Jiang was caught in a dilemma, they would strike again. They waited and waited, only to find out Zhang Jiang had gone overseas; this really surprised them. No one understood why he went overseas—weren’t the lands he held urgent to develop?

Zhang Jiang went abroad, flew to Europe to et Fu Yun and the others, “This is my plan.” As soon as he got into Fu Yun’s car, he tossed over the prepared plan.

Fu Yun was also shocked by his action, although they were relatives, their relationship wasn’t that good back ho. Moreover, this ti was about investnt, which required a considerable amount of money, his attitude…

Zhang Jiang yawned, “I was so busy on my way here, I still need to adjust to the tizone.”

Alright, rembering Zhang Jiang needed to adapt to the ti zone, Fu Yun had to keep driving, glancing at Zhang Yu, “Are you looking at the plan?”

Zhang Yu casually picked up the plan and began to look over; initially, she always thought Zhang Jiang planned to do real estate business—buying and selling houses. She had no idea he was planning for a comrcial-residential complex.

Moreover, he intended to exchange a plot of land and build a factory for an industrial park.

The main objective was rental inco, essentially acting as a landlord.

Zhang Yu felt this plan was good, just unsure about how Fu Yun felt about it.

Fu Yun noticed Zhang Yu hadn’t turned a page for a while, “What is it?”

“I’ve looked it over, Second Uncle’s idea is to build a mall, a comrcial-residential complex which isn’t for sale. Instead, he’s planning to build and rent it out.”

This needed to be clarified with Fu Yun, from a long-term perspective, it certainly was profitable, but now it didn’t generate inco like constructing houses might.

So that’s how it was—once Fu Yun learned about Zhang Jiang’s plan, she was indeed a little shocked, after thinking for a mont, “I think it’s doable. I rember an uncle once said he wanted to be a landlord.”

“Being a landlord is pretty good, I believe, as long as we are persistent, the annual rental inco could surpass a dium-sized company’s profit.” Zhang Yu was absolutely confident.

That’s how it was, Fu Yun looked at the confident Zhang Yu, refraining from saying anything demoralizing. Once stable monthly rental is collected, initial funds are tight, but afterwards, it’s not much of a problem.

“I’ll invest.” Fu Yun quickly decided.

Zhang Yu originally thought at least they’d have to analyze a bit with Fu Yun, but didn’t expect she agreed. “Sis, you really agreed?”

Fu Yun saw the surprised Zhang Yu and laughed, “Isn’t it surprising? Thought I wouldn’t invest?”

Zhang Yu affird, “Yeah, considering this investnt takes ti.”

“But God is stable.”

“Not every financial player likes thrills.” Fu Yun paused, “I actually prefer stability.”

Zhang Jiang finally felt he was pulling through, opening his eyes to find Zhang Yu and Fu Yun sitting in the car, each handling business on their notebooks, “You didn’t go upstairs?”

“Waiting for you, uncle, to wake up.” Zhang Yu cheerfully said, “We can either go eat or you can continue resting.”

“Let’s discuss business first; otherwise, I won’t have ti to rest.” Zhang Jiang knew he couldn’t hide so things from them, “Zhang Hai actually trapped my funds.”

“Hmph, he doesn’t think this can defeat , does he?”

Zhang Yu knew Zhang Hai wouldn’t rest easy, he would surely stir things up, but she didn’t expect him to be so ruthless.

“You haven’t sought out the old man?” Zhang Yu believed Zhang Jiang absolutely sought him out over this.

Zhang Jiang sighed helplessly, “How could I not? Of course, I did, but unfortunately, the old man said he’s too old for this sort of thing.”

“What can I do? You tell what I can do.” Zhang Jiang was indeed helpless, “If you don’t invest, I’ll have to dispose of assets.”

Hmph, really thinking denying bank loans can completely defeat him; sorry, despite having little cash, he still had real estate and stock investnts.

Looking at the indignant Zhang Jiang, forget teasing him, after all, he was getting up in years, “Second Uncle, we intend to invest.”

Ah? Zhang Jiang, who was still rambling about how outrageous Zhang Hai was, didn’t expect such a pleasant surprise to co so quickly, “You, you really want to invest?”

“I’m holding long-term, not intending to sell.” Zhang Jiang reiterated his stance.

“Of course we know.” Zhang Yu calmly replied.
