Capítulo 1986: Chapter 1987: Old Mrs. Zhang’s Rebirth in the ‘70s – Reforming Her White-Eyed Wolf Children 18

Li Mu was truly infuriated to the point of spitting blood by Li Juan’s words, “You actually, you actually say that I favor boys over girls.”

“You really are such an ungrateful child.”

“You insist on saying you’re good, well, tell , how have you been good to ?” Li Mu was truly heartbroken. Back when her daughter-in-law was pregnant, not allowing her son to co forward for the sake of work was indeed sothing Li Fu didn’t agree with, thinking that a married daughter would take her work to her husband’s family.

It was Li Mu who insisted in every possible way, saying that whether her daughter had a job or not made a difference in the treatnt she would receive at her husband’s family. She even strained her relationship with her son and daughter-in-law over this.

It’s only in the past two years that the relationship has slowly improved, but Li Mu knows if Li Juan cos back to fight for the house, her son’s family will surely have complaints against her.

Looking at the furious Li Juan, as a mother, Li Mu really wanted to speak well of her and talk about her virtues.

But after thinking for a long ti, Li Mu gave up. After taking over, when Li Juan saw sothing she liked, she would simply buy it without getting anything for anyone at ho, spending money extravagantly.

She doesn’t do any housework and is always bossing others around. In contrast, the daughter-in-law, apart from not having a good job—she’s a temporary worker now—does everything else quite well.

“Before you were married, there was a ti when I was unwell. You were busy going on a date with Wei He. Knowing full well that I was unwell, you just went out on your date without even asking about my condition.”

“It was your sister-in-law who looked after .” Even if the daughter-in-law had many faults, at least she would take care of her in such situations.

On the other hand, Li Juan, who was supposed to be the thoughtful little cotton-padded jacket, would often drop by when nothing was happening at ho and take things from the house, claiming she had no money because their earnings went to the household account.

But if one doesn’t have money, it’s okay; taking care of her would be okay, but Li Juan would always just talk, saying how much she couldn’t bear to part with them, yet she never took any action.

Thinking of this, Li Mu decided that no matter how nice her daughter spoke, she absolutely couldn’t be fooled.

Li Juan couldn’t believe it, even when she was so pitiful, her own mother turned a blind eye, “Mom, how can you be like this.”

“I was still young then, I didn’t understand these things.” Li Juan cursed and muttered internally.

She really couldn’t understand why, as biological parents, Wei Dazhi would fight for his daughter Wei Xuan, but when it ca to her own mother, she could say such cruel words—it was really hateful.

Li Juan looked at the undisguised look of disgust on Li Mu’s face. The latter noticed as well and was quite frightened.

Li Mu didn’t understand, even though she didn’t do her best, why she still had discontent against her. Li Mu knew she had spoiled her, letting her have her way in everything, otherwise she would claim others were at fault.

Looking at the displeased Li Juan, Li Mu felt she didn’t understand this daughter well, or perhaps the well-behaved and sensible daughter she always thought she was, wasn’t like what she imagined at all.

“Your clothes are all washed by your mother-in-law; you can’t cook or do laundry. What else can you do?”

“Shopping for clothes?”

“Eating good food and wearing good clothes.” Li Mu always thought finding a family with average conditions for her daughter ant her marriage would be fine.

But now Li Mu increasingly feels that no matter how good a plan she makes for her daughter, it can’t stop soone from wanting to ruin it themselves.

With such a disposition, if she continues like this without any improvent, Li Mu truly fears problems will arise in her relationship with her son-in-law sooner or later.

Li Mu wanted to give her so guidance, but seeing Li Juan’s long face, she imdiately lost the desire to educate her.

Forget it, even if she educates her again, it can’t stop soone from wanting to ruin things themselves. “It’s getting late, you should go back to work.”

“And since we’ve divided the family, do so things at ho and let the son-in-law do so as well.”

“After all, the reason you’re living apart is because of your own issues.” After all, she is her own daughter, and Li Mu can’t completely ignore her.

Li Juan liked hearing her mother say this, “Yes, Mom, things shouldn’t be done just by ; we should do them together.”

Li Juan had thought it over. When the ti ca, she would apply for the night shift. She had always worked the day shift because working nights was too tiring. Initially, it was fine; she could shop and buy things during the day and rest at night when there was nothing to do.

But the hospital has patients at night too. Occasionally, soone would co in, and there was no way to rest well. After getting married and having a child, she worked the day shift.

Now knowing there are piles of household chores waiting for her to do, Li Juan decided she wouldn’t tolerate it anymore and should consider more for herself. She refused to beco a housewife.

Li Mu thought that she had pointed Li Juan in the right direction. As long as she thinks straight, she should know what to do.

She didn’t realize at all that Li Juan was playing both sides, trying to make Wei He do more housework under the guise of work.

Zhang Yu didn’t know about Li Juan’s plan. She noticed the clothes hastily placed at the door of the eldest family’s house. Feng Xia was just soone always helping her brother, always feeling her parents and brother had it hard, and the brother was going through difficulties.

Whenever there was sothing good at ho, she would take it back to her family. It’s a wonder the two children didn’t grow up malnourished, all thanks to the original owner. What a pity.

Yesterday, she jumped up and insisted on driving the family of the third brother out, not sure if she frightened Feng Xia enough not to let her brother-in-law have her job.

If she didn’t let him co, she wouldn’t be able to watch the nonsense of the eldest family. After all, once they caused a scene, Zhang Yu had already planned out how to deal with it.

Yes, exactly like that, without any politeness, just straightforwardly throw them out. But unfortunately, Zhang Yu sighed unhappily once again.

“Mom, Mom.” Wei Xuan walked to the door with a weary face, saw Zhang Yu sitting inside, lost in her thoughts, greeted her, and unsurprisingly saw the third brother’s clothes placed just outside the bedroom door. Happily, she put her own clothes down nearby.

No need to look up, Zhang Yu knew the original owner’s careless daughter-in-law had co ho, and then, without any surprise, saw her put a pile of clothes next to Wei He’s clothes.

“Wei Xuan, these past few days, I’ve divided the family, completely divided the family. Starting tomorrow, your brother and his family will cook their own food, and all their household matters are their own business.”

“Including their laundry, they wash it themselves.” Considering this daughter, even though she works in the street office and is not considered stupid, at her family, especially with the original owner, she really acts dumb and foolish.

“Since yesterday, their clothes have been washed by themselves. I haven’t been helping them with their laundry, and your clothes, you wash them yourself.” Speaking straightforwardly.

“Your sister-in-law didn’t believe it yesterday, and those clothes weren’t washed. Today, the clothes changed are still there.”
