Gu Chengyu sternly pointed at Yang Laosan, speaking righteously.
"What? Why is there talk of execution now? Yang Laosan, don’t drag everyone down!" The crowd that initially wanted to divide the Silver imdiately retreated, isolating Yang Laosan for fear of being associated with him.
Lin Lize looked deeply at Gu Chengyu. This Gu Chengyu didn’t ntion Silver at all but rather focused on Yang Laosan’s mistake, scaring away those who initially stood with Yang Laosan. Ignorant villagers only heard about capital punishnt and forgot about the Silver. Now only Yang Laosan was left, unable to stir up trouble.
"Ahem! Fifth son of the Gu Family! Yang Laosan is just a farr, not understanding these things. Why make it a big deal with him?"

Yang Laosan, frightened by Gu Chengyu, felt his legs go weak and knelt to the ground, "Chief, you must vouch for ! I don’t understand all that talk about disloyalty. I have no such treacherous thoughts!"
