Gu Chengyu confird his suspicions and chuckled, "It’s unclear whether they’re blaming him, but they’re certainly trying to drag the Third Prince down."
Yin Kun was imdiately intrigued upon hearing this. He got up and took a few steps in the room, pointing at Gu Chengyu, "Oh? Tell more about it."
He knew Gu Chengyu was quick-witted. Upon returning to the mansion, he thought of calling soone to invite Gu Chengyu to discuss this matter.
Unexpectedly, Gu Chengyu acted faster and was already waiting at his place.
The carriage arrived at Duke Zhen’s Mansion but didn’t stop; instead, it passed straight through the corner gate.
After about a quarter of an hour, the carriage halted. Doctor Li took a deep breath, picked up the dical box, and was about to get off the carriage when Steward Sun stopped him.

The woman stepped forward, instructing the two maidservants in the room to gently hold out a jade-like hand from behind the bed curtain.

After a while, the woman and two maidservants anxiously glanced at Doctor Li, but dared not to disturb him.
Doctor Li closed his eyes slightly, frowning deeply, before releasing his hand after a considerable pause.
"Doctor, what is the condition of our young lady?" The woman hurriedly approached Doctor Li as he remained silent for a long ti.
"Your young lady likely caught a cold a few days ago and has been in a dazed state ever since. She may have had a high fever before, which has subsided sowhat in the past two days, but she hasn’t woken up yet."
Doctor Li hesitated a bit, only stating about half of it.
"Indeed, that’s what happened. Our young lady fell into the water and developed a high fever that night. Though we invited doctors and gave her dicine, she hasn’t improved and remains dazed. But yesterday, she wouldn’t wake up at all, yet when I touched her forehead, it wasn’t as hot as before. Please, doctor, explain why that is!"
The woman was extrely anxious. Seeing her red-rimd eyes, Doctor Li presud the loyalty between them was deep.
"Your young lady suffers from excessive thoughts and frail constitution. When well cared for, her frailty doesn’t show. This ti falling into the water has slowed her recovery compared to others."
Doctor Li paused, showing a hesitant expression.

Gu Chengyu took a sip from his tea bowl before speaking, "The Assistant Leader’s return to his hotown was too coincidental; I suspect this was also calculated by whoever is behind the scenes."
"But the person scheming isn’t You Yuan’s master, the Third Prince; there should be another perpetrator. Investigating why the Assistant Leader returned ho might reveal the truth."
Yin Kun listened, utterly confused, "Explain it clearly!"
Gu Chengyu shook his head and laughed, "These are rely my guesses, and not necessarily the truth. If you are misled, it’s not my fault."
Gu Chengyu wasn’t an Immortal, and without direct evidence, he could only piece together a potentially incorrect answer from Yin Kun’s few words.
He raised two fingers, "I have two speculations. Firstly, this Assistant Leader nad You Yuan might have been set up by the mastermind, possibly due to a family issue, prompting him to request leave to return ho. Secondly, the person he truly serves might not be the Third Prince, but soone else entirely."
Yin Kun contemplated for a long ti, "Both seem plausible, but they don’t entirely prove the Third Prince’s innocence in this affair."
Gu Chengyu nodded, "That’s why I asked earlier who spread the story."
Yin Kun seed to be in thought, feeling he had grasped sothing, yet couldn’t fully understand it.
"If You Yuan had another purpose, seeking to absolve the Third Prince, there would be no need to implicate himself. This would rely appear excessively coincidental, exposing the Third Prince to the public. Nobody is foolish; suspecting the Third Prince was already probable; why wouldn’t others guess he’s acting counter to intentions?"
