A lee fight was not as easy as a ranged one, where his safety was mostly guaranteed.
Fortunately, Soren was not soone who would take a simple failure to heart.
Rather, he was soone who would do anything to turn the situation around and co out on top. Besides, he was just training right now.

In an instant, he agilely spun his entire body around the Bloodhorn Boar before reappearing at its back and unleashing a series of rapid, overlapping strikes.
Compared to his attack before, it was multiple tis more powerful in every way.
But if it could not land, it was nothing after all.
And looking at the inhuman reflex of the boar in front, already turning around rapidly despite its massive size, it seed this attack would be futile, too.
Not to ntion, Soren might get attacked instead since he was in the air.

Fortunately, Soren was not as unprepared as before, as he imdiately began to use his concept.

The mont he condensed an invisible thread, he wrapped it directly around one of the monster’s legs, instantly tightening it with precision.
And sure enough, although the thread snapped under its sheer weight, the Bloodhorn Boar’s footing still faltered ever so slightly.
But in a fight at this level, that was everything.

Finally, his Drakefang found its mark, directly sinking into the boar’s back and piercing through its condensed force field before cutting into its hardened flesh.

The Drakefang was so strong that, despite its tough hide, the boar was injured in an instant, its body bloodied and trembling as pain rippled through its fra.

But the pain almost directly caused it to enter its berserk state as a blood-red aura exploded outward in all directions.
Even Soren was caught off guard as he was swept away by the force, landing heavily against a tree.
Fortunately, his body did not suffer much, with that tallic sheen protecting him.

But this attack truly enraged the beast beyond anything, as before Soren could even react, he saw a massive boar charging toward him at the speed of sound, its blood-red horn aid to pierce him.
Its nacing aura was so strong that, without using a counter skill, it alone could induce fear in anyone.
Fortunately, Soren was immune to anything related to aura.
"Tch... it seems to be healing its wound."
Soren clicked his tongue at the behemoth charging in front and vanished again, weaving through the storm of rage as the boar began to rampage blindly, each strike becoming faster and heavier.

And yet he shifted between steps, narrowly evading crushing charges while slipping in precise counterattacks, each opening lasting less than a heartbeat.
A cut here.
A stab there.
Never staying in one place long enough to be caught, always appearing at blind angles, always forcing the boar to turn too late.
But every ti he struck, the boar’s fury only grew.
The battlefield quickly turned into a blur of violence with Soren darting like a shadow between lethal swings, landing one heavy blow after another, steadily carving into the Bloodhorn Boar while surviving by nothing but timing, instinct, and pure execution.
As the fight progressed, Soren grew more and more adept, while a strange exhilaration began to take over his mind.
Before, while he was acting as an archer, all he was doing was killing monsters from afar with absolute power.
Although it was still an impressive feat, he had never truly experienced real combat before.
A ranger had a very different fighting style than a rogue after all.
Although a rogue was still not a true lee fighter, Soren found that it suited him more, at least for now.
*Roar!*
At least for now, when he could appear and disappear rapidly with extre agility, inflicting one damage after another on the behemoth while dodging one fatal strike after another smoothly.
Not to ntion the continuous notifications ringing in his ears as the fight progressed,

Soren now truly knew how high his luck was, as every other attack of his began to activate Critical Hit.
In fact, it was so frequent that in no ti at all, the Berserk Boar found itself extrely injured and covered in blood.
The gash in its body was so deep that one could see bone, and it was only alive because Soren was showing rcy, or rather, playing with it like a toy.
What should have been a ruthless battle of power quickly turned into monsters’ agony as Soren’s cheat activated again and again, until...

...the boar could take no more and sprawled on the ground, injured beyond what it could tolerate.

For one, he already knew that his strength seed a bit low to use lee attacks effectively.
Although he did pierce the boar’s hide and injure it, it was mainly because of the high rank of the Drakefang, not his strength.
In fact, if not for the consecutive Critical Hits just now, Soren was sure he would take far longer to kill it.

However, before he could react, a loud howl echoed through the forest, reverberating through the trees, followed by the heavy footsteps of multiple monsters rushing straight toward him.
In an instant, he found that he was surrounded.
