Wen Yang lay back in bed, trying to catch up on so sleep, but as soon as he closed his eyes, Ning Chu’s image filled his mind.
A succubus, huh?
There weren’t many Succubus at school. The only one he was sowhat familiar with was Lily, who was introverted and quiet, so he knew very little about them.
It was said that Succubus had so-called silver patterns on their lower abdon.
It was said that Succubus beca stronger the longer they ‘fought’, and most n weren’t their match.
So Succubus were even said to have tails that acted like a steering wheel, but Ning Chu didn’t seem to have a tail at all.
Curious, Wen Yang peeked toward Ning Chu sitting at the desk below. Her soft, delicate face looked no older than a middle schooler’s. Just from her appearance, he couldn’t imagine that this sa Ning Chu could twist her waist and, with a face full of desire, actively try to seduce him.
Sensing Wen Yang’s gaze, Ning Chu looked up and t his eyes. Her face instantly flushed red, and she hurriedly dropped her head again in a fluster.
Ning Chu let out a heavy sigh.
If she could, she wouldn’t want Wen Yang to know she was a succubus.
But yesterday’s incident needed an explanation to prevent Wen Yang from overthinking things and to help her feel a little less awkward in front of him.
Besides, her condition was worsening. If Wen Yang knew, he would surely do his best to help cover for her in the dorm, preventing a scenario where she really ended up fighting three people at once.
Fortunately, he wasn’t dumb. He’d managed to figure it out with just a little probing.
Otherwise, she might’ve had to lift her shirt and pull down her pants to show him the silver markings on her lower abdon... That would’ve been way too shaless!
The morning was still early, and Ning Chu idly played on her computer for a while before yawning and preparing to go back to bed.
But just as her hands gripped the ladder and one foot stepped onto it, she suddenly froze.
When had she started trusting Wen Yang so much?
He was the male protagonist—the very person she needed to be most cautious about!
And yet, she had actively revealed her greatest secret and weakness to him?
Before this, she had been determined to hide the fact that she was a succubus, lest Wen Yang use it to tease her body.
“Why are you just hanging there?”
Zhang Shaoqing had woken up and, upon opening his eyes, saw Ning Chu frozen halfway up the ladder.
“I was thinking about sothing.”
Ning Chu quickly climbed up, flopped onto her bed, and buried herself under the blanket.
So many annoying problems.
Since she’d transmigrated, there hadn’t been a single peaceful day in these past two months.
Now, on top of her physical issues, the problem with her parents lood over her... She could only hope that her mother was also a succubus and already knew about her situation.
Otherwise, turning their son into a succubus daughter was sothing most parents wouldn’t be able to accept.
What kind of person was her father in this world...?
Having gotten up too early, Ning Chu’s brain grew hazy as soon as she lay down. Her thoughts andered aimlessly until she gradually drifted into a light sleep.
But not long after, the dorm began to stir noisily again.
Zhang Shaoqing washed his hair every morning, standing under Ning Chu’s bed while the hair dryer whirred noisily throughout the room. Wang Jie’s keyboard and mouse clattered loudly as he played gas, and Wen Yang tossed and turned restlessly in his bed, shaking the entire bed fra.
“Why are you packing up so early?”
“Since I don’t have a match today, I’m going ho.” Zhang Shaoqing packed up his things and stood in front of the mirror, styling his hair with gel. “Wanna co with ? Otherwise, I’ll be bored to death at ho alone.”
“No thanks.”
“My mom’s really nice, you know.”
“Still no...”
Wang Jie got dragged along by Zhang Shaoqing nearly every week, poor guy. He was more of a hobody who preferred staying in the dorm.
“Tch, fine then. I’m off.”
The dorm finally quieted down a little, but by then, Ning Chu had already been woken up by the conversation.
She weakly glanced at the clock. Although it felt like she’d only slept for a mont, it was already past nine.
Ning Chu peered down at Wang Jie and Wen Yang from her bed. She paused for a mont before asking, “Wen Yang, did you apply dicine to your wound today?”
“Yeah, it’s almost healed. Don’t worry.”
“You still need to be careful,” Ning Chu said, then turned her head toward Wang Jie. “So you’re not going out with Zhang Shaoqing this weekend?”
“We were planning to go play a murder mystery ga with you guys, but you said you were busy,” Wang Jie replied, turning his head to glance at Ning Chu, whose ssy hair looked like a bird’s nest.
“Oh…”
Ning Chu’s eyes suddenly lit up.
Wait, what?! If you guys don’t leave, how am I supposed to do my ‘bad deeds’ in the dorm?!
She had been counting on the dorm being empty over the weekend so she could finally release all the pent-up energy she’d been suppressing.
She had everything planned out: wear Wen Yang’s clothes to borrow a bit of his protagonist halo and avoid spawning so weirdo or tentacle monster in the dorm. She even intended to confirm Wen Yang’s schedule beforehand to make sure he was at ho teaching classes, thus avoiding any embarrassing plot triggers.
Her brain spun quickly as she thought of a solution to the problem. In an attempt to persuade Wang Jie, she coaxed, “Wang Jie, you don’t have a match today, right? Why don’t you go see your girlfriend? It’s the weekend—you could spend three whole days with her!”
Wang Jie grumbled with a troubled expression, “But I just visited her…”
“How are you this indifferent to your girlfriend?!” Ning Chu accused the hobody with righteous indignation. “You have to spend more ti with her if you’re free! You guys are in a long-distance relationship! Don’t you worry she’ll find soone else if you don’t nurture the relationship?”
Wen Yang nodded in agreent. “Yeah, I’ve noticed you don’t even call her that often. Long-distance relationships need effort to maintain.”
“Hmm… That makes sense,” Wang Jie muttered, looking hesitant but still glued to his computer screen.
This guy is hopeless.
How did soone like him even manage to find a girlfriend in the first place?!
Ning Chu rolled her eyes, but then she noticed Wen Yang holding out breakfast for her.
“I’ll eat later. Just leave it on the desk.”
“Alright.”
Then there was Zhang Shaoqing…
That guy had gone ho early on Friday, so he would definitely spend the weekend in the dorm.
Ning Chu pressed her lips together, but then noticed Wen Yang’s gaze drifting toward her lower abdon.
Her face, already thin-skinned, flushed red instantly. Annoyed and embarrassed, she shot him a glare. “What the hell are you looking at?!”
“…” Wen Yang shifted his gaze nonchalantly. “By the way, the counselor asked to help out on the field this afternoon.”
“Help out?”
“Yeah, it’s the last day of the sports festival. We need to pack up the sun umbrellas and chairs we set up on the field.”
“No way!”
Ning Chu rejected him without hesitation. Wen Yang was not allowed to leave the dorm today, not even for a step!
Only by keeping him in the dorm could she ensure that he wouldn’t be approached by any scheming won and inadvertently trigger a plot event, which might result in her spiraling out of control again.
Wen Yang looked puzzled. “If anyone tries to flirt with , I’ll just do what I did yesterday at lunch…”
“Even worse!”
What do you an ‘handle it like yesterday’?! You’re breaking the plot left and right! My brain’s going to explode from the stress!
“I’m a class committee mber…” Wen Yang started, but when he saw her glaring at him with an angry, pouty expression, he sighed helplessly and nodded. “Fine, I’ll just tell them my foot still isn’t healed.”
“Exactly!”
Ning Chu shivered at the sight of Wen Yang’s indulgent smile.
Why is it that, even when I make completely unreasonable demands, I can never seem to make him dislike ?
