The door suddenly swung open.
Zhang Shaoqing, who was in the middle of expressing ‘concern’ about his teammates' family ntal health, glanced over and saw Ning Chu walk in with a blank expression.
“Wen Yang’s gone?” he asked.
“Mm.” Ning Chu nodded.
His screen turned gray, and while furiously typing away, Zhang Shaoqing asked, “Are you going to stay in the girls’ dorm for the next few days?”
“Yes.”
“You’re not actually a girl, are you?”
Ning Chu froze mid-step. “How could that be possible?”
Zhang Shaoqing didn’t think much of it and surrendered in his ga. Leaning back in his chair, he turned to scrutinize Ning Chu, who was visibly in low spirits.
She was packing up her laptop and putting so small items into a bag. Her deanor exuded a cold, "keep your distance" vibe, and her wary eyes darted around constantly. Her movents were quick and deliberate, like a skittish cat in an unfamiliar environnt.
Noticing Zhang Shaoqing’s gaze, Ning Chu frowned and t his eyes. “What are you staring at?”
“You look like…” Zhang Shaoqing scratched his head. “You’re not running away after committing a cri, are you?”
“?”
Ning Chu was full of question marks.
“It’s okay if you accidentally broke the law. Confess early, and you’ll get a lighter sentence. Resist, and it’ll be worse.”
“Are you ntally unwell?”
“Then why do you look like you’ve killed soone and are planning your escape?”
Her expression turned complicated. She was montarily stunned by Zhang Shaoqing’s bizarre train of thought.
Wang Jie burst out laughing. “Shaoqing, have you been watching too many cri dramas lately?”
“Hey, Ning Chu! Tell about life in the girls’ dorm!” Zhang Shaoqing, sensing his comnt was ridiculous, quickly changed the subject. “Is it true that girls don’t wear bras to bed?”
“Is it really as ssy and dirty as they say?”
“I heard so girls don’t wash their hair for a week and just tie it up or wear a hat when it gets greasy?”
Who knew where he’d heard such rumors.
Naturally, Ning Chu wouldn’t spill the private lives of Yan Xinya and the others to this pervert. She finished packing quickly and left the dorm in a rush.
“I’m leaving!” she shouted.
The door slamd shut behind her, leaving Zhang Shaoqing and Wang Jie staring at each other.
“Why does it feel like Ning Chu is acting weird now that Wen Yang’s gone?” Zhang Shaoqing muttered.
“The dorm feels so empty with two people gone,” Wang Jie sighed.
Zhang Shaoqing nodded in agreent. “At least before, we had a little cross-dresser for so eye candy. Now I’m stuck looking at you, a shut-in nerd.”
He paused, then grumbled regretfully, “I should’ve asked during that hypnosis session if Ning Chu was packing or not…”
Though he always felt Ning Chu seed like a girl, he never had any concrete evidence.
