Hearing that delicate voice, Ning Chu's mind went blank.
In the dim room, she stared at the silhouette pressed against her and realized what it was.
It was a person!
A little girl, no less!
For a mont, her brain couldn't process this. She almost thought it was a dream, but the weight on her body felt too real to be imagined.
She t the gaze of those erald-green eyes, glowing with a feline intensity, and found herself speechless.
This was impossible!
It didn't fit the story at all!
"Mom!"
Another cry made Ning Chu's mind spin even more.
In a daze, she responded absently, "Huh~"
Then she suddenly ca to her senses.
I'm still a virgin! A pure, untouched maiden! How did I beco a mother?!
"Y-you should get off first," she said, her voice unsteady.
Only after the figure on top of her moved aside did she sit up, scoot to the edge of the bed, and turn on the light.
The glaring white light made Ning Chu's eyes hurt. After squinting for a mont to adjust, she finally looked at the girl curled up under the blanket.
The girl appeared to be around ten years old. She had shoulder-length hair, with a pair of black cat ears perched atop her head. Behind her, a fluffy tail lay neatly coiled in front of her body.
Notably, the girl was completely naked. Her pale skin glowed under the lamplight, leaving Ning Chu with an unobstructed view of her figure.
Hmm, a flat chest and no hips to speak of...
Ning Chu instinctively pulled the blanket over the girl's body.
But in doing so, she exposed herself to the cold air.
Shivering from the chill, she hastily grabbed the nightgown from the bedside table and pulled it on before turning back to the suddenly appeared cat girl.

She had initially thought that after transforming into a cat girl, Black Bean might need ti to learn human behavior and manners. But due to the book's setting, the cat girl before her was no different from any ordinary child.

"Black Bean! There's a treat after brushing your teeth."
Now the little cat ca bouncing over eagerly.
This feline girl stood just over a ter tall, even shorter than a typical ten-year-old girl, and a full head shorter than Ning Chu.
Ning Chu took out a new toothbrush and handed it to Black Bean. "Do you know how to use this?"
"Yes!"
She watched Black Bean struggle with the toothbrush. The cat clearly knew the concept but found the tool awkward to handle.
Adaptation would be key - after all, Black Bean had never brushed her teeth before.
"Ah~"
Ning Chu checked the ti. It was barely past five.
"Buy extra breakfast and bring it over when you wake up."
"Get three portions, with extra at. There's bad news..."
"Eh!"
She suddenly tensed, her body going limp as she braced her hands against the sink. Turning back, she saw Black Bean reaching out to swat at her accidentally swishing tail, treating it like a cat toy.
"Don't touch it!"
"Oh~"
Black Bean responded, but her eyes remained fixed on the tail with unmistakable interest.
Ning Chu reluctantly tucked her tail into her nightgown, coiling it around her thigh.
After another night of interrupted sleep, her tail had grown noticeably thicker and longer. Delicate heart shapes now adorned the tip, making it look both more appealing and... more suitable for use as a cat toy.
Ning Chu wiped her face with a towel before turning to Black Bean, whose mouth was frosted with toothpaste foam.
"Rinse."
"Spit it out."
She pressed the towel against Black Bean's face, scrubbing vigorously despite the cat's struggles. With her sharp claws and teeth removed, Black Bean couldn't hurt her even if she tried.
Cleaning herself while simultaneously tidying up after Black Bean left Ning Chu feeling utterly drained, like a single mother raising a child.
Everything will be easier once Wen Yang arrives...
"Black Bean, do you rember what happened before?"
"I rember."
"Like what?"
"Mommy used to be Daddy!"
"Forget it imdiately!"
