The indigenous creatures of this world are quite strong.
To the south, there are traces that might indicate the presence of giants, and to the north, there are nurous undead.
On both the east and west sides, there are encounters with elental beings, as well as traces of sub-dragon species activity. The red dragon seen initially was also flying to the west, possibly to its dragon nest.
Su Ziyu has yet to see a single human.
He suspects that this world lacks human inhabitants, and that ordinary people would struggle to contend with the creatures here.
The weakest monsters encountered so far are the Holy Beetles, but even they can easily handle a couple of human militian. The situation with the undead is not yet clear, though he has seen skeletons resurrected from human bones. If these bones were not animated by magic, then it implies that humans once existed here but were wiped out.
Abyssal Blood Pool.
After Su Ziyu retreated, he first drew a simple map.
"From what it looks like now."
"The easiest to deal with are those insects, followed by the elental beings," Su Ziyu muttered as he stood up, "It would be great to encounter a batch of Abyssal Worms."
He thought for a mont and simply sent the Abyssal Lurker out.
"Go explore the west." These demons possess a certain intelligence, but currently, the Enchanting Demon seems to be the smartest.
There's a giant dragon in the west.
The Abyssal Lurker can burrow underground, so Su Ziyu wouldn't be too upset if it were to die.
Su Ziyu left the Enchanting Demon and small demons to collect exposed minerals while he took five Frenzy Demons directly to the territory of the Insect Race.
Currently lacking strength, he could only pick off the weaker enemies first.
He led the five Frenzy Demons to a place where he initially encountered the Holy Beetles, and after exploring the surroundings a bit, Su Ziyu quickly discovered an underground cave.
"Could it be an insect nest under there?" Su Ziyu conjured up a ball of fla in his palm.
He pondered slightly, and a huge fireball ford between his hands, which he promptly hurled inside.

A dull explosion resonated.
The subsequent sensation was akin to blasting an ant nest, as a swarm of Holy Beetles poured out from the underground cave. The insects asured about 30 centiters in length, and more than a hundred ca rushing forth, so of which were larger Holy Beetles with black shells and bodies nearly half a ter long.
"Slaughter them all!" Su Ziyu finally issued the attack command.
The Frenzy Demons were already raring to go.
The demonic nature in them craved slaughter. These five Frenzy Demons charged into the mass of Holy Beetles, like small giants, crashing through the swarming insects, indifferent to the ones that clambered onto them.
"Demons are truly battle-hungry!" Su Ziyu began preparing to cast his magic.
A storm of flaming winds arose.
Frenzied flas consud the Holy Beetles, the battlefield engulfed in the scent of charred insects, which oddly stirred up a hunger.
"Gained 1250 points of Power of Slaughter."
"Gained 100 points of Soul Value."
"Discovered mutated Insect Race gene!..."
After eliminating the Holy Beetles in sight, the mutated Insect Race gene Su Ziyu acquired was enough to unlock the next type of unit.

It seed that less intelligent demons generally had higher morale, while the smarter the demon, the more ordinary its morale seed.
Was it possible that when they were originally created, all the attribute points were not added to intelligence?

After annihilating a significant number of Holy Beetles, Su Ziyu led the Frenzy Demons into the underground cave ahead.
Inside, there were hardly any insects left.

The broodmother unleashed a weak ntal shock towards Su Ziyu, but it was virtually useless against the demons. He initially intended to kill the broodmother, but realized it could be transford instead.

The Holy Beetle Broodmother before Su Ziyu only possessed these three unit types, likely due to gene mutations being limited to this extent.

Su Ziyu glanced at the data displayed in the auxiliary system. The demonized Holy Beetle was only slightly larger than those outside. The Fire-spitting Insect was sowhat interesting, but the Giant Shell Beetle's resource consumption for hatching was high, requiring about a five to six-ter-long insect.
"Take it back," Su Ziyu ordered in a deep voice.
Demons are not a race known for creativity; they are more enamored with slaughter and destruction.
However, they possess so very peculiar abilities—for instance, demons are adept at enslaving other races, their bloodline possessing a potent corrosive power, allowing almost all races to be transford into half-demon beings.
In other words, they can enslave a multitude of vassal races.
"Capture vassal race."
"Unlocking related building unit."
"Note! If the Holy Beetle Broodmother dies, the vassal race will gradually disappear!..."
The harvest was greater than expected.
Su Ziyu ordered two Frenzy Demons to carry the Holy Beetle Broodmother back, imdiately commanding it to begin incubation. After undergoing demonization modifications, the broodmother quickly laid nurous eggs, and shortly thereafter, young Holy Beetles began hatching.
They only need to drink the liquid from the Abyssal Blood Pool to rapidly transform into a mature Holy Beetle.
