Su Ziyu proceeded along the rugged road, heading to a place called Shijue Mountain, where the Mountain Child was said to lurk. It was a small, unknown hill he hadn't heard of before.
He didn't encounter any demons along the way, perhaps because it wasn't dark yet.
Su Ziyu wasn't in much of a hurry; he casually found a hillside to sit and sip so sake, waiting for dusk to settle before continuing toward Shijue Mountain. Recently, this Mountain Child had grown quite arrogant, claiming the lives of at least a dozen rchants and their goods mysteriously disappeared. The wealthy families of Sanhe Province had hired so Yin Yang Masters to deal with it, but unfortunately, the civilian Yin Yang Masters were too weak, and those who ca were never seen again.

Su Ziyu frowned, observing the roasted object on the fire with slight discomfort. Then he drew the teor from his waist with a sharp clang, descending from the sky under the cloak of night, gliding swiftly using Spiritual Flight power. The teor flickered once by the fire in a stream of light.
These demons had so special tricks, so Su Ziyu didn't dare underestimate them. He struck decisively at vital points, first dealing with the nearby minions.

Accompanied by the ergence of bloodlight, the Iron Mouse beside the fire was directly skewered by Su Ziyu's sword, while a large humanoid toad next to it also had its head cleaved by him in a single stroke.

The seemingly intoxicated Mountain Child reacted extrely quickly, almost sensing sothing at the mont Su Ziyu struck. It swiftly grabbed the stone hamr beside it, and its skin turned into a rocky hue. A stone wall abruptly rose from the ground, shielding it from behind.
This wasn't an ordinary Mountain Child; even typical Mountain Children weren't this tall and muscular. Its crimson pupils resembled a demon. A mont ago, it was gnawing on a human leg.

The massive stone hamr swung down with a gust, forming a deep pit with a diater of over three ters on the ground. If Su Ziyu hadn't reacted quickly, he would've been smashed into pulp.
"Such strength in this demon!" Su Ziyu was stunned, retreating swiftly after revealing himself.
The Mountain Child possessed great strength and seed capable of manipulating rocks. Upon noticing Su Ziyu's presence, it imdiately pursued with the stone hamr, shouting, "Don't let him escape! Another one here to et his doom!"
Seven or eight mountain spirits and ghosts rushed out in pursuit.
However, to their surprise, Su Ziyu hadn't fled far; he stood outside waiting for them.

In the crackling electric light, a dazzling lightning bolt descended from the sky.
The Mountain Child reacted swiftly, trying to evade, but no matter how quick it was, it couldn't outrun lightning, getting struck instantly, its entire body appeared charred.
"Thunder Technique?!" The Mountain Child exclaid in shock.
The Spiritual Lightning ability had so inconveniences, like when Su Ziyu couldn't display it inside due to the need for expansive spaces, as Thunder Strike and Lightning Storm required the aid of natural energy. Using Thunder Strike inside would've been ineffective.
——"Ti Acceleration!"
After enduring a direct hit from Su Ziyu's Thunder Strike, the Mountain Child appeared severely injured, seemingly having shrunk markedly, with its feet sunk into the earth, attempting to escape using Earth Escape-like powers.
Su Ziyu wouldn't let it succeed; as everything around gradually froze, his figure flashed by, and with a sharp sweep of sword light, he decapitated the Mountain Child.
Whether it was his false perception or not, Su Ziyu realized that after Ti Acceleration reached LV6, he truly felt as if the world ca to a halt in that mont, with the fras slowing down and he seed to exist in a nearly static world.
