"Gentlen."
"Ladies."
"Do you know what this ans?"
"In at most three years, when the first batch of children receiving education from Beidou grows up, we will widen the gap even more with them!"
Dr. A stood up, glanced around, and said in a low, serious tone, "Do you still think our achievents are impressive now?"
"We have not done nearly enough."
He gestured with his hand, and the scene before them changed rapidly, displaying one gathering place after another, countless faces flashing by like a slideshow. Dr. A said slowly, "Do you think what you see before you truly has the ability to save our civilization?"
"We are not the Genetics Faction."
"Those madn only think of changing everything through DNA!"
"But we cannot do that."
The eting room fell into a deathly silence.
Many people were plunged into deep thought by Dr. A’s words. A middle-aged woman, her expression sowhat hesitant, then said, "Do we have to popularize education?"
"With our current resources, it’s completely insufficient, and we cannot support so many children."
"Just promoting bionic transformation is already exhausting us."
Upon hearing this, Dr. A adjusted his rimless glasses on the bridge of his nose and said slowly, "Our resources are indeed not enough. But why can’t we take control of more resources from the Wasteland World?"
"Water alone takes up one-fifth of a normal person’s living expenses."
"How laughable!"
"The water purification device seems to be just an insignificant little invention in our lab, right? Its manufacturing cost is not even comparable to that of an ordinary bionic limb!"
"Yet it has beco a tool for those capitalists to amass wealth."
The atmosphere in the eting room suddenly turned icy, as many people realized that Dr. A wanted to take action against so of the Financial Tycoons’ Influence.
"But we have agreents with them," a slightly younger scholar said softly.
The Academy had always accepted sponsorship from the Financial Tycoons’ Influence, in exchange for limited research results to be handed over to those financial tycoons.
Dr. A squinted slightly at the young scholar, then said aningfully, "It’s ti to make a change!"
The eting quickly ended.
Dr. A sat alone in the empty eting room, as if contemplating sothing, and wrote a line on a white sheet of paper with a pen.
——"Capital is greedy."
Then, he smiled, as if speaking to himself, or perhaps to soone, "I’m not a capitalist, I’m just a scholar in pursuit of truth."
A cold electronic voice sounded: "Doctor."
"It’s best not to leave the institute for the ti being."
.........
The boundless Galactic Void.
When Su Ziyu’s figure returned to this familiar scene once more, he couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
During these three days, his hands were stained with blood, yet Su Ziyu didn’t feel uncomfortable; he only believed it was sothing he had to do. In the past, he dealt with mutated monsters, but this ti, his enemies were mainly humans. It was at this mont that Su Ziyu realized just how terrifying his destructive power was when dealing with ordinary people.
A stronghold with nurous ard personnel could be slaughtered in less than half an hour by him.
Invisibility.
Teleportation.
Spiritual Energy.
When Su Ziyu truly began to regard humans as his hypothetical enemies, he beca an unstoppable killing machine. Even those elite troops in Exoskeleton Power Armor appeared in his eyes as nothing more than lambs to be slaughtered. Indeed, if he wished, he could destroy a huge human settlent with his bare hands in half a day.
Of course, he would never do that.
He did not want to beco a cold-blooded butcher, an executioner, a ruthless killing machine.
The Hourglass of Ti was turning into an invisible bubble, carrying Su Ziyu as it drifted through the endless river of ti and space. With no new mission target in sight yet, he pondered for a mont and opened the coordinates of the worlds he had visited before.
Positioning authority is temporarily unavailable.
"Open world coordinates," Su Ziyu said calmly.
As the data stream surged, the waypoints of past worlds appeared in his mind like twinkling stars.
"Coordinate 1: Civilization Level 3, Energy Level 0, Modern Civilization, unable to enter." [Spiritual Energy Revival][Elental Tide]
"Coordinate 2: Civilization Level 4, Energy Level 2, Dinosaur Era, can be entered." [Unknown Mutation][Civilization Advancent]
"Coordinate 3: Civilization Level 1, Energy Level 1, Snake-man Civilization, can be entered."
"Coordinate 4: Civilization Level 1, Energy Level 2, dieval Civilization, can be entered."
"Coordinate 5: Civilization Level 3, Energy Level 1, Wasteland Apocalypse, can be entered."
"Coordinate 6: Civilization Level 1, Energy Level 3, Dream Plane, can be entered."
"Coordinate 7: Civilization Level 1, Energy Level 2, Demon Hunting Plane, can be entered."
"Coordinate 8: Civilization Level 3, Energy Level 1, Hundred Ghosts Plane, can be entered." [Marked Plane][Civilization Advancent]
Eh?
Su Ziyu glanced at the list and couldn’t help but frown slightly.
It seed that so changes had occurred in the planes he had previously experienced, with the most significant change in the Dinosaur Plane. If Su Ziyu rembered correctly, its original Civilization Level should have been 0, but now its Civilization Level had risen to 4!
What happened?
Civilization Level 4 is essentially the Interstellar Era, could it be that this plane has been turned into a colony by an alien advanced civilization?
The second change occurred in the Hundred Ghosts Plane.
Its Energy Level dropped to 1, while its Civilization Level increased directly to 3, aning it reached the standard of modern civilization.
What about Qing Ji?
The first thought that ca to Su Ziyu’s mind was Qing Ji. If it weren’t for the temporary unavailability of Positioning Authority, he would like to go back and take a look imdiately.
Why has the Authority Level increased for so long?
And yet unable to enter other planes at will?
Damn!
How can he truly control the Hourglass of Ti?
Su Ziyu attempted to connect with the Hourglass of Ti using his Spirit, and while there was no problem with the connection, he couldn’t control it at all. The Hourglass of Ti seed like a massive vortex, rapidly consuming whatever Energy he injected.
Civilization Level 3, but without mutation prompts, does that an this plane has entered the modern period?
Wouldn’t that an a thousand years have passed?
It’s over.
Will Qing Ji set him on fire the next ti they et?
Su Ziyu felt a bit uneasy.
While he was contemplating, the speed of drifting gradually slowed down, and then three dark red stars appeared before him.
——"Cyberpunk [Moderate Pollution]."
——"Fallen Dragon Kingdom [Deep Pollution]."
——"Dark Soul [Moderate Pollution]."
Why did three mission targets appear this ti?
The first mission target is ’Cyberpunk,’ a plane Su Ziyu had seen before. To be honest, technological planes don’t enhance him much, especially since he already possesses a nuclear bomb.
However, this plane might have so high-tech data, although Su Ziyu doesn’t urgently need it right now.
The second mission target is the ’Fallen Dragon Kingdom,’ which has also appeared before, but the previous prompt was ’Corrupted Dragon Kingdom,’ and now it has beco ’Fallen Dragon Kingdom.’
The last mission target is relatively unfamiliar, appearing for the first ti with a rather strange prompt: ’Dark Soul.’
Is this a spirit-driven plane?
Which one should he choose?
Su Ziyu fell into contemplation, the Cyberpunk Plane should be the first to be excluded, as he doesn’t want to enter the Technology Plane again.
That leaves a choice between two.
One is the deeply polluted Dragon Kingdom, and the other is the entirely unfamiliar Dark Soul. The forr is expected to be challenging, while the latter might be a bit easier.
Su Ziyu hesitated a bit.
Should he take a gamble this ti, or should he safely choose a manageable pollution difficulty?
Why does he have a feeling he’ll fall into a trap?
