Everything around instantly turned into a slow-motion movie, fra by fra. Su Ziyu could clearly see the true form of the Eldritch creature. In the lower half of Gwendolin, a huge worm-like creature made of black viscous matter was surrounded by corrosive negative energy. So cracked parts were still flickering with sparks, likely remnants of ashes left by a once mighty Lord of Cinder.
However, the Eldritch creature was different from other Lords of Cinder. Its flesh was still intact within its body, and traces of embers were minimal. It’s uncertain whether this was because it replenished itself by devouring Gwendolin or if it was simply unique in this way.
This man-eating monster is fad in this plane!
For a long ti, the royal family used it to deal with the Undead. Those swallowed by the Eldritch creature would completely disappear. There was a path of sacrificial victims dedicated to transporting food for it.
Unlike other Lords of Cinder, its power was filthy and evil.
It was an extrely dark negative energy that Su Ziyu’s Spiritual Protection Field could not resist. He could only rely on his body to withstand it, yet still felt his life force rapidly draining away.

Su Ziyu roared, gripping the Sinful Greatsword with both hands, slashing toward the area below Gwendolin’s waist. There was an incongruous fusion mark there, like a worm’s mouth biting below Gwendolin’s waist. Shadow Sun - Gwendolin was, after all, the heir of Sun King - Gwyn. His power when alive was evidently strong, and it took the Eldritch creature so long to digest his lower half.

The real difficulty in digestion likely wasn’t Gwendolin’s body, but the divinity value he possessed.
A crimson fla instantly erupted!
The first attribute of the Sinful Greatsword was ignoring armor. The fla directly pierced through the black keratin surface of the Eldritch creature, then adhered to the remaining flesh and husk of this Lord of Cinder. The sparks on its body suddenly intensified, as if fully ignited, and a large amount of flesh burned to ashes in the fla.

The worm-like body of the Eldritch creature, over ten ters long, shivered. Its residual fla form appeared more prominent, but its flesh withered very quickly.
The attack was effective!
Su Ziyu’s slash made the Eldritch creature convulse all over, charring the part connected to Gwendolin’s body. Yet the Fire of Sin did not spread to Gwendolin’s corpse, perhaps because he was already a lifeless body.
The rumored Fire of Sin seemingly only burns the living.
The living Undead alike.
Su Ziyu swung six swords in rapid succession, the Sinful Greatsword nearly cleaving the Eldritch creature’s body in half. But the enemy did not die, rely convulsing as it attempted to burrow underground again.
This was the first ti Ti Acceleration couldn’t directly end an opponent.

Su Ziyu wouldn’t let the Eldritch creature escape. He reached out, grasping the Dragon-Hunting Spear lodged in its lower limb, and summoned lightning without pulling the spear out. In the crackling electric light, golden bolts exploded open, not only engulfing the Eldritch creature but enveloping him entirely.
"Alarm! Alarm!"
"Suffering lightning damage!...Entering Lightning Overload state!..."
Snakes of electricity leapt along the surface of Su Ziyu’s body.
He roughly understood what Lightning Overload entailed. Simply put, any lightning damage he suffered would partially linger in his body, about 20% to 30% of the damage he endured. Then, in his next lightning attack, he could convert this overload damage into power.
Theoretically.
If Su Ziyu’s life force was completely sufficient and his constitution was high enough, he could strike himself with lightning before attacking, resulting in a significant power amplification in his next attack.
But the cost of this was injuring himself and entering a negative Lightning Overload state, which reduced control over Spiritual Lightning.
He has yet to test the upper limit of Lightning Overload.

"Don’t worry about !" Su Ziyu pushed Nun Fried away with a hand, panting, "It isn’t dead yet!"

The Eldritch creature wasn’t dead yet. In its scattered flesh remnants, a pool of eerie black sludge was writhing and beginning to regroup.
