Su Ziyu’s spirituality slightly stirred.
His expression was slightly surprised as he looked at the cabin in front of him and thought to himself, "Spiritual Enhancent LV5?"
When the shriveled old man walked down, two soldiers in silver-gray exoskeleton power armor quickly followed him.
"Their equipnt is far more advanced than in the Wasteland World." Su Ziyu’s gaze fell on the electromagnetic rifles in the hands of those two soldiers.
The Tribe Chief no longer had the arrogant look he had initially. Instead, he nodded and bowed to the old man in front of him, full of flattery, saying, "Lord Steward."
"The stuff is over here."
"We spent more than half a month acquiring it, and many people died."
The shriveled old man known as the steward looked at a pile of tal parts next to him. Suddenly, a flash of red light appeared in his pupils, and a scanning beam skimd over the parts. He then nodded expressionlessly, "Just so junk from ancient ruins."
"But this pseudo-personality AI core has so value."
"With these slaves and rebels."
"Altogether, you can exchange them for 1200 Empire Contribution Points."
As he said this, the shriveled old man lifted his wrist, where a light blue tal bracelet on the back of his hand suspended a small silver-white tal piece. It then lit up slightly, and a 3D holographic display appeared in front of him.
"You are only a low-ranking knight of the Empire now."
"Currently, these are the items and technologies you can exchange for."
"Have a look yourself."
The shriveled old man waved to the soldiers behind him, who stepped forward and loaded the items into the cabin. Another soldier pulled out a tal collar, and with a press, over a dozen electromagnetic tal rings shot out, capturing the slaves in front of them.
The chieftain looked at the holographic display, a greedy look in his eyes, and flattered cautiously: "Lord Steward."
"The items inside are too mixed up."
"I don’t know what I should exchange for. Does Lord Steward have any advice?"
Hearing this, the shriveled old man had a slight sneer on his lips. But he still responded coldly, "Depends on what you want."
Sneeringly, he glanced around at the dirty and chaotic tribe in front of him and said slowly, "If you want to advance the level of civilization, then exchange for technical data and construction materials."
"The Empire’s basic knowledge should be enough to rapidly bring your tribe into a civilized society."
"If you want to continue being a powerful dictator."
The old man slightly moved his fingers, and a large item list appeared on the holographic display. He slightly lifted his chin and gestured, "These are nanoter neural injection training devices, including techniques for firearms, fighting, Swordsmanship, etc. Any one of them can make you an expert in a certain ability."
The item list in front of him rapidly flashed by, each page showing different exchange options.
"Bionic Transformation Surgery."
"Exoskeleton Power Armor."
"Dark Energy Field Shield."
"Electromagnetic Rifle."
"AI Intelligent Assistance Core (Implantation)."
"Plasma Light Saber."
"FZ-100 Shuttle."
"T1 Series Gene Transformation Liquid."
The item list contained a wide range, from cheap to expensive, covering almost all items, with tens of thousands of different options, so of which even made Su Ziyu’s heart move.
The old man’s gaze landed on the back of the other party’s head. After a scan, he said slowly, "Your Spiritual Amplifier is still the lowest level."
"Given your gains this ti, you might consider exchanging for the T1 series gene transformation."
"After completing the first step of brain domain enhancent, you should be able to install a more advanced Spiritual Amplifier."
The chieftain hesitated slightly upon hearing this. He looked at the expensive price of the T1 series gene transformation and, after hesitating for a mont, said, "Lord Steward."
"I think I’ll continue with the bionic transformation."
The shriveled old man nodded expressionlessly, "Okay."
"There’s a hibernation surgery pod inside."
As the two talked, Su Ziyu had already stealthily entered the cabin flying device using Invisibility.
The interior space was quite spacious, with more than ten silver-white tal boxes of various sizes on the floor. In the corner was a silver-gray hibernation pod. At that mont, the shriveled old man had brought the middle-aged chieftain inside, and after signaling for him to lie down, the old man casually opened one of the tal boxes with a fingerprint, retrieving a silver-gray bionic tal arm and a pair of light blue crystal eyeballs.
Beep beep.
The old man set sothing on the hibernation pod, and the next second a syringe erged, injecting so liquid into the chieftain’s body.
An infrared scanning beam passed over.
The chieftain’s body configuration imdiately appeared on the projector on the wall, and the old man tapped a few places on the arm and eyes.
Then, a precision surgical knife popped out, cutting off the chieftain’s arm with astonishing speed, and removing a pair of murky dark brown eyeballs. Several silver-white chanical hands picked up the tal bionic arm, then installed and connected it to the nerves. The whole process was seamless and took less than ten minutes in total for the chieftain’s bionic transformation surgery to be completed inside the hibernation pod.
Finally, so light blue liquid was injected into the hibernation pod, and after a few minutes, the chieftain opened his eyes with a slightly dazed and bewildered look and stood up.
A faint red glow appeared in his pupils.
Su Ziyu could even see so data flashing through his pupils, indicating that these bionic eyes seed to have so data analysis capabilities.
"The transformation is complete." The shriveled old man suddenly shuddered, then expressionlessly said, "You may leave."
The still sowhat dazed-looking chieftain was carried out by a soldier next to him.
The cabin of the flying device quickly closed, and then took off.
The two soldiers in exoskeleton power armor stood at the door like robots.
anwhile, the shriveled old man suddenly let out a groaning gasp of pain, panting heavily. Strange changes appeared on the exposed parts of his neck and head, his expression seed slightly ferocious, bulging blood vessels pulsing violently, his face almost turning purplish-red, temples pulsating.
"Damn Mind Whisper!..."
"Monster!"
"Get out of my head!..."
The shriveled old man quickly opened a box, took out a silver-white syringe, and inserted it into his neck. After that pale red liquid entered his body, his expression cald significantly, breathing heavily: "Return to the underground base imdiately."
The soldiers beside him showed no reaction, still standing like robots at the door.
However, the lights in the cabin’s cockpit flickered, and a cold chanical voice echoed: "Base coordinates determined."
"Returning."
Whew.
The shriveled old man sat on a sofa nearby, the symptoms he had just exhibited gradually disappeared. After his heartbeat stabilized, he actually reached out to open a small cabinet and took out a bottle of wine, leisurely pouring himself a glass.
The cabin flying device ascended for the return flight.
"Were his earlier symptoms ntal pollution?" Su Ziyu’s figure hovered ten centiters above the ground.
With his Spiritual Enhancent Level, he could completely shield the other’s perception.
It seed they were now preparing to return to their base camp, and Su Ziyu hesitated slightly, unsure whether to follow them to take a look or directly use ntal control on the shriveled old man to see if he could extract any useful information.
In the end.
He decided to wait a bit longer.
Although his understanding of this world was limited, the things that shriveled old man had just displayed were quite fascinating to him.
If possible, Su Ziyu still wanted to get hold of them.
He also wanted to explore the details of the Empire ntioned by the natives. Clearly, they already possessed such advanced technology, yet their system seed to be a feudal empire.
