The head maid, Tinax, is obviously a reliable guide. She led Su Ziyu onto a silver-blue Light Shuttle that swiftly sped through the city along a pale purple crystal conduit. Along the way, Su Ziyu saw so of the local inhabitants.
There's no denying that the world is full of wonders.
Humans here constitute less than one-third of the population. He saw relatively ordinary beings like giants, dragon people, elves, and dwarves, among others. But aside from that, Su Ziyu also saw beings resembling mythical creatures: lower bodies spiraled in clouds, suspected intelligent ant-like beings moving in swarms, and what appeared to be pure rock elental life forms, among others.
"They are Wizards of the Tower." Tinax pointed ahead at those who had either undergone Elentalization, had long plant-like green hair, or their bodies transford into spiraling lightning and cloud, and she softly explained, "The Five-Ring Tower leads to the Star Gate of Crescent Moon."
The Light Shuttle continued moving forward.
A magnificent marble palace erged ahead, with sculptures at the entrance towering hundreds of ters high, resembling ancient Titan giants.
Su Ziyu stared intently at the colossal statue ahead; he could feel a residual Divine Power upon it. However, unlike other divine statues, it was a completely different energy, rely brushing against it felt like encountering a belief and strength, a sacred, pure, benign force.
It is the statue of an ascetic.
He possessed a gleaming bald head, handso facial features, peaceful deanor, and eyes that seed to see through everything.
"This is the Hall of Heroes." The head maid Tinax slightly bowed to the statue, respectfully saying, "The statue is of the Savior, Master Xu."
"He is the only [Enlightened]. A Saint who once walked the earth."
"One of the Guardians of Crescent Moon."
"He was also Lord Stephen's close friend. Lord Stephen once said that Master Xu was the person who influenced him most. If not for Master Xu, he might not have embarked on his current path, nor beco the Space-Ti Guardian."
"Inside the Hall of Heroes are warriors who sacrificed themselves to fight against the Star of Death On."
The Star of Death On?
Su Ziyu frowned as he listened to the na, and rely hearing it made him feel a huge malice.
As those words fell.
Suddenly, beams of light descended from the heavens, landing directly on the giant square in front of the Hall of Heroes. Imdiately, figures began to erge within the light beams, led by a Wizard enwrapped in chains, whose body was ablaze with flas. His bare chest showed cracked skin, from which flowed hot, pure Elental Power, as if he were a subdued, ever-ready-to-erupt apocalyptic volcano.
Behind this Wizard was a well-equipped legion, ranging from highly technologic construct life forms to ascetics clad in simplistic garnts, from Demon Hunters in dieval attire with Crossbows to dwarves armored in Magic Energy Power Armor. Su Ziyu saw warriors of all sorts; their sole commonality was exceptional strength, each absurdly powerful, with even the weakest being legendary figures.
"The Guardians are back."
The head maid Tinax spoke in a tone of reverence: "They are Lord Stephen's legion, responsible for handling Outer Realms and other Planes' pollution sources, monitoring sealed ancient evils, and patrolling the cosmic drifting corpses of Ancient Gods."
"So of them ca from the Wizard's Tower, so from Crow's Nest, and the Outer Plane."
Ranks of warriors divided in the middle.
The Guardians on the square stood silently and solemnly, watching a group of people carry so crystal coffins containing sealed bodies into the grand Hall of Heroes.
Golden light gently fell, forming two rows of Valkyries in front of the Hall of Heroes, clad in golden Armor, holding long spears, spreading snowy white wings. They knelt on one knee, welcoming these warriors' remains into the majestic Hall of Heroes.
"Sacrifice is inevitable." The head maid's tone was slightly somber.
Not sure whether it was an illusion or not.
At that mont, Su Ziyu seed to glimpse a blurred figure: handso and amiable, with a clearly bald head, barefooted, clad in ordinary clothes washed to a dull whiteness. Upon eting his gaze, the figure smiled, nodded kindly, and slowly disappeared from the range of perception.
The Space-Ti Monitor System showed no reaction.
This was an existence beyond the system's detection; if Su Ziyu wasn't certain he couldn't hallucinate, he would have doubted experiencing a visual delusion.
"Was that just now a spatial transference?" Su Ziyu slowly asked.
"Yes." The head maid answered with a smile, radiating pride from within: "Sixteen thousand two hundred and fifty Star Gate nodes have been arranged on Crescent Moon, working with the Rainbow Bridge to conduct hyperspatial transference to any planet and Plane within the current Crystal Wall Elent."
"If necessary."
"Crescent Moon itself can undergo spatial transference as well!"
Can this planet also transfer?
Su Ziyu's expression showed disbelief, thinking she might be exaggerating, but her earnest look suggested otherwise.
"Crescent Moon comprises a hundred and eight ring cities." The head maid Tinax softly explained, "You can regard them as small Floating Cities, and they are the satellites of Crescent Moon."
"However, Lord Stephen has already dispatched all of them."
"It seems to be executing orders from that Death God. When you co next ti, there will be three ring cities in the nearby skies."
"They serve as central nodes, Space Beacons of Crescent Moon."
"Responsible for commanding the legions stationed in the Star Realm and assisting the maintenance of other Space-Ti Guardians' communication networks."
The extraordinary, incredible power witnessed by Su Ziyu told him how formidable Lord Stephen, the Space-Ti Guardian known to possess unparalleled influence.
The Light Shuttle did not halt.
In Su Ziyu's view, soon appeared a giant concave crater, shielded by a light green mbrane, the ground revealing many buildings resembling ant nests. Through the light mbrane, Su Ziyu could observe nurous ant-like life forms.
"Crescent Moon Wound." The head maid quietly added: "A festering sore left by the Star of Death On back then; the Fomi Ant Race is purifying these sores."
"This vast project has continued for over three hundred years."
Hearing this, Su Ziyu hesitated, pausing before speaking, "Was this once a planet?"
"Hmm." The head maid nodded with a smile.
Su Ziyu continued, "Was the Star of Death On once on this planet?"
The head maid nodded again, softly affird, "Or, at that ti, the Star of Death On was this planet. We paid an enormous cost to save it."
"Many people sacrificed for it."
