"R University is quite far from here, where do you plan to live during your internship?"
Zhu Qianyu was a bit surprised that the other person would ask about this, but she still answered quite decisively. "I’m staying in the school dormitory!"
Tian Fang slightly furrowed her eyebrows; she knew better than anyone how far Xinying was from R University. After all, just a year ago, she often had to drive Si Han back and forth between R University and Xinying. This drive takes about an hour; using public transportation would likely take much longer.
"What ti did you leave ho this morning?"
"Seven o’clock!"
Exactly as Tian Fang expected. "Thinking about it, you’ll have to spend four hours commuting every day from now on, right?"
Moreover, what Tian Fang didn’t ntion was that she couldn’t drive out from Xinying every day to pick up Zhu Qianyu from the station. After all, she didn’t have much ti to spend at the company.
Zhu Qianyu was taken aback for a mont, she hadn’t really considered this problem.
From the mont she received the interview notice, she was just busy being happy.
"Then... if it really doesn’t work out, maybe I could rent a place nearby?" Zhu Qianyu quickly thought it through and imdiately made a decision.
Although, her original intention was to work and earn money to alleviate her sister’s burden. But now, her thought has changed. To be able to intern at a company like Xinying, even if it ans spending her own money, she is willing.
It’s now the end of June, and there are two and a half months until school starts in mid-September. The rent around here shouldn’t be too expensive. Talking to Mom, asking her for so money shouldn’t be too difficult.
"Renting a place..." Tian Fang seed to be talking to herself, or considering sothing.
"Yes, Sister Fang, I can rent a place nearby." Zhu Qianyu was already determined.
Tian Fang didn’t respond to her, contemplating for a while before turning to look at her, "Would it be a problem for you to live with the company’s new artists?"
For a mont, Zhu Qianyu couldn’t react, "Ah?!"
"The company has artist dormitories nearby. If you don’t mind staying with the artists, I can arrange for you."
"Really? That’s great! Thank you, Sister Fang!" Zhu Qianyu’s excitent was evident, she almost wanted to give Tian Fang a hug to express her gratitude.
Tian Fang glanced at the girl smiling from ear to ear, "Of course it’s true, do I look like soone who doesn’t keep their word?"
The key reason she’s able to navigate society decently is because she knows how to read her boss’s mood.
The young master from Ji Family sent her here, how could she dare neglect even a bit?
Who knows, maybe the person beside her will beco her benefactor in the future. If she doesn’t seize the opportunity now, it might be gone forever.
"Thank you, Sister Fang!" Zhu Qianyu thanked sweetly once more.
Seeing her sweet smile in the rearview mirror, Tian Fang thought it was a pity. With her many years of experience, she could tell that with Zhu Qianyu’s face, becoming popular would be a matter of minutes.
"I told you, no need to be polite with . Why not go to the studio tomorrow, for now, I’ll take you to see the dorm first. If you’re okay with it, you can pack your things at school later and bring them over this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Does that sound good?"
Zhu Qianyu was willing to do anything to stay at Xinying, and Tian Fang was also trying her best to keep her stay.
Both had different intentions, yet the outco was the sa.
"Sure, it’s not even ten o’clock yet, I can go back to pack up, and return this afternoon."
"Never mind, I’ll pick you up at R University tomorrow morning. It’s inconvenient to carry luggage all the way."
Tian Fang decided to be kind to the end, after all, the favor she gives now will soon be returned by the young master.
Zhu Qianyu, overwheld with gratitude, tried to refuse repeatedly, but Tian Fang insisted on her suggestion, and in the end, Zhu Qianyu had to accept her kindness.
Xinying’s artist dormitory is just two blocks behind Xinying’s office. From the outside, it shares the sa layout as the office’s bungalows.
Using such a place for artist dormitories, Xinying’s boss is truly generous.
Tian Fang led Zhu Qianyu into one of these bungalows, inside, the layout was not residential but still the office setup.
A woman in her forties hurried up to greet Tian Fang as she entered, "Director Tian, recruiting new artists again?"
Speaking, she gave Zhu Qianyu a curious once-over.
"She’s not a new artist, she’s the new intern. Sister Zhang, could you check which dorm room is vacant?"
Indeed, Sister Zhang is the head supervisor of the artist dormitory.
"C8 still has a room available, would that be okay?"
Tian Fang only then rembered that the dormitories here were two-bedroom, shared by two people.
"Who’s living in C8 now?" Although the company artists generally have decent personalities, so have quirky temperants. She had to ensure Zhu Qianyu’s roommate would be soone easy to get along with.
"Wang ngng."
This artist, actually brought in by Tian Fang herself, is a newly graduated student from a music academy. She possesses a heavenly voice and is undergoing a series of professional training, likely debuting officially early next year.
"Okay, C8 then."
Wang ngng has a good temperant, and since she is close to Zhu Qianyu in age, they should get along.
"Alright, I’ll take you to have a look."
What Sister Zhang referred to as C8 wasn’t far from her office; just a few bungalows away, and they arrived.
Sister Zhang opened the door for Tian Fang to lead Zhu Qianyu inside, where the layout was simple and comfortable, a standard two-bedroom with good lighting in the living room. Apart from necessary furnishings like the sofa and TV, there wasn’t any extra furniture.
The two bedrooms were small, roughly ten square ters each, but they each had their own bathroom, allowing for relatively independent space.
"How is it, are you satisfied?"
Tian Fang showed Zhu Qianyu around the entire house, and Zhu Qianyu nodded repeatedly, "Satisfied, very satisfied. A house like this, with a front and back yard and en-suite bathrooms, would cost at least several thousand if rented."
Tian Fang certainly knew this.
That’s why she always told others Ji Yu was a very generous boss, making artist dormitories resemble vacation villas.
"Since you’re satisfied, we’ll set it here. I’ll pick you up tomorrow and give you the key."
This interview journey for Zhu Qianyu, starting with nervousness and ending with delight.
Returning to school just in ti for lunch, Zhu Qianyu bought so food from the cafeteria to eat in her dorm room.
She originally planned to call Ji Huan to thank him after eating.
The al box hadn’t been opened, the phone rang, and it was indeed Ji Huan.
"Hello, Mr. Ji, thank you, I passed the interview!" As soon as the call was connected, Zhu Qianyu couldn’t wait to express her gratitude.
"How is it, are you satisfied?"
Zhu Qianyu found Ji Huan’s question odd. After all, she went for the interview, she was the one being chosen. Typically, it’s about whether the interview unit is satisfied with her as the interviewee, not her being satisfied.
