On Monday, Le Tong routinely placed the coffee in front of Ji Rui.
Ji Rui, breaking from his usual self, looked up at Le Tong after she set down the coffee and said, "Thank you!"
Le Tong was a bit stunned, staring at Ji Rui, wondering if President Ji had been possessed by so strange creature.

Ji Rui said, shifting his gaze from Le Tong’s smiling face back to his screen, feeling perhaps a bit better than he did in the morning.
