Ji Rui hadn’t been back to the Ji Family for over a month. As he left Le Tong’s house and reached the stairway, Xiao Li, following behind him, spoke.
"President, Special Assistant Yang just called and said to wait for him at the company for half an hour; he has sothing important to discuss with you."
Ji Rui nodded to show he understood, then walked down the dim and narrow staircase, unable to help frowning again.
During the more than half a year that Le Tong worked at the Ji Family, she often worked late until nine or ten at night. Coming back so late, walking alone in this dark stairway, wasn’t she afraid?

Le Tong rubbed his head affectionately, "Thank you, baby. If you’re not tired, you can help Mommy."
This aspect brought Le Tong much comfort.
For a child like Baby, who was pampered since little, to understand and empathize with her, proactively offering to share her chores was truly surprising at first.

Le Tong awkwardly smiled, "Manager Chen, you’ve misunderstood. I’m not married to Mr. Ji; I’m just Baby’s mommy and have nothing to do with Mr. Ji."
Manager Chen looked puzzled until he set the takeaway on the coffee table and finally had a realization.
