Although the man was in a coma, his dry lips felt an occasional chill, instinctively, he slightly opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue to lick.

She placed the basin on the chair, speaking while wringing out the towel.
"You can’t take a shower these couple of days, let Xiao Li help wipe you down later."
Saying this, the warm, damp towel was already placed on Ji Rui’s face.
"You help wipe down, no need to trouble Xiao Li." Ji Rui looked straight at her, as if having her take care of him wasn’t a bother.
Le Tong thought he didn’t rember last night’s events. Although she felt a bit embarrassed, she remained adamant.
"n and won shouldn’t touch; let Xiao Li do it for you." She tried hard to maintain a serious face.
Nevertheless, the man on the bed didn’t care about her deliberate façade at all, smiling softly.
"Is that so? Then who was it that wiped down last night?" His voice, hoarse and deep from having a fever all night, unexpectedly sounded very seductive. His murmured words were like a delicate feather tickling in Le Tong’s heart, making her heart itch terribly.
"Definitely not !" Le Tong insisted, but the blush on her face blatantly betrayed her.
Ji Rui didn’t expose her lie, instead, feeling pleased, he followed her movents willingly, raising his chin slightly to let her wipe his neck.
Ji Rui tilted his head a bit, his gaze never leaving her face.
Le Tong seed aware of his intense gaze, yet said nothing, only giving him a slight glare, then gently supporting his head with one hand, while the other guided the towel along his hairline to clean the back of his neck.
Ji Rui acted like an obedient child, allowing her to take care of him as she pleased.
Yet, soone usually slow when it ca to emotions, Ji Rui unexpectedly sensed her change. From the way she seed to scold him with her eyes tinged with annoyance and concern, added to the tenderness of her movents even while reprimanding him, he perceived her transformation keenly.
"Le Tong, have you made up your mind?"
After asking, Ji Rui disregarded the pain from his wound, lifting his hand to cover Le Tong’s hand that was on his neck.
Le Tong didn’t answer him, instead, she lowered her eyes, and Ji Rui noticed her long, lowered eyelashes fluttering gently, causing his heart to tremble along with them.
Just when he thought Le Tong would co up with another excuse to brush him off, her dark and long lashes lifted, her bright and shiny eyes filled with a tenderness that made him wish he could drown in them.
"Mm!" Le Tong nodded decisively, but before Ji Rui could say anything, she mocked herself with a laugh, "Am I really stupid?"
Baobao often called his daddy an idiot, so it turns out, as a mommy, she was just an idiot too!
The man curled his lips, blinked, and lifted himself up abruptly, his slightly dry lips brushing lightly against hers like a dragonfly skimming the water, "Stupid, maybe a bit, but an idiot pairs well with an idiot, just right!"
