There has been no news from Mr. Ji for several days, and Yang Sheng, who was left in Beijing by Ji Rui, has also delayed his return due to personal matters.

These things, Ji Rui never ntioned to Le Tong. He didn’t even tell Le Tong that he almost had a fallout with Mr. Ji that day. He kept going to work and coming ho as before, but he took Baobao and Le Tong wherever he went now.

Le Tong, on the other hand, cleverly guessed the gist of what was happening from Ji Rui’s various unusual behaviors.

People outside had already heard about Le Tong, who climbed from being a forr secretary to soone important, so when they saw Ji Rui taking Le Tong to various important etings and negotiation venues, they didn’t show any surprise.

Instead, it was Baobao, a kid just a few years old, who always carried his own handheld computer and participated in various work events with his parents. The people around, intimidated by Ji Rui’s authority, didn’t dare say anything, but Baobao wasn’t bored at all, being as calm and content as if he were an indispensable assistant by Ji Rui’s side.

Regarding this, Le Tong had protested to Ji Rui, "Ji Rui, Baobao is still young, you shouldn’t take him to occasions that are as cruel as battlefields, even if there’s no smoke."

Ji Rui, however, carelessly threw this issue to Baobao, "Baby, you decide for yourself whether to stay at ho with a few bodyguards or go with daddy and mommy."

Baobao was indeed different from usual children. He first kissed Le Tong as a comfort, then calmly gave Le Tong an answer.

"Baobao wants to be with daddy and mommy; besides, it’s quite fun!"

Le Tong couldn’t figure out what was fun about those confrontational and scheming situations, but when Baobao said it was fun, the light of curiosity in his eyes was genuine.

Since the father and son had already reached a consensus on this matter, Le Tong had nothing more to say, only allowing Ji Rui to carry his baby son around like a super daddy to various important and unimportant work venues.

Ji Rui’s injury had mostly healed, and he didn’t need to take dicine anymore. Doctor Fan, who used to visit twice a day, hadn’t co for the past couple of days. Le Tong spent a whole night packing her things, and conveniently, the next day was Sunday. She got up early to make breakfast, and when father and son finished freshening up and sat at the dining table, Le Tong ladled out a bowl of congee for each of them, then served herself and sat down.

"I’m moving out later."

Le Tong’s words were spoken very casually, but they were like a bombshell to the big and small man at the dining table who had grown accustod to enjoying familial warmth.

Both father and son froze their hands holding the spoon in mid-air. Baobao opened his mouth, wanting to say sothing, but ultimately said nothing and instead looked at Ji Rui’s face.

He seed to understand clearly that if mommy moved out, he could move with her, but daddy had no reason to move together.

Ji Rui didn’t look at Baobao but wrinkled his brow and stared at Le Tong. Seeing that she didn’t intend to continue speaking, Ji Rui, sowhat vexed, put his spoon on the table and asked.

"Why are you moving out?"

Le Tong was taken aback; it was a question that sounded very strange to her.

This wasn’t her ho, and even though she and he were a couple, they had never agreed to live together.

Compared to staying in his spacious apartnt, she preferred her own small apartnt.

"This is your ho!" Le Tong’s tone was very flat, but she used a definitive tone.

Ji Rui ground his teeth; the bright and joyful mood he had for spending a sunny Sunday with Le Tong and Baobao was easily shattered by Le Tong’s simple few words.

"It can be your ho too." Ji Rui raised his eyebrows. In fact, he’d always considered this place as the ho for him, Le Tong, and Baobao.

"Ji Rui, you know it’s different."

Having experienced Ji Rui’s stubbornness many tis, Le Tong tried patiently to convince him.

"What’s different, say it!" Ji Rui straightforwardly propped his hand on his cheek, his erald green eyes staring directly at Le Tong.

Le Tong felt quite overwheld; moving in initially was to take care of his injuries, but little did she realize this place was actually a den of wolves. Moving in was easy, moving out seed difficult.

"Ji Rui, don’t play word gas with . This is your ho, not my ho; it’s clearly an ownership issue and doesn’t need to be questioned!"

Le Tong was slightly angry; the man shouldn’t think that when she moved in to take care of him, she was actually sticking herself to him?

Ji Rui stared at Le Tong’s face, being sowhat amused by her now not-so-calm manner. After a mont, as if suddenly reminded of sothing good, he smiled slightly at Le Tong, "Are you reminding that I should add your na to the ownership of this apartnt?"

Le Tong never knew that the normally stern and cold President Ji had such a good imagination. A straightforward matter sohow twisted into another focus when he talked about it.

"Ji Rui, don’t be ridiculous! After breakfast, have soone help move my luggage back to my place. If you’re not willing to help, I’ll find soone myself."

Le Tong didn’t want to talk nonsense with Ji Rui anymore; getting tangled with him like this, she truly feared accidentally getting ensnared.

In the end, even though President Ji was extrely unwilling, he still couldn’t resist Le Tong and obediently let bodyguards help Le Tong move her luggage back to the rented apartnt in the alley.

A good Sunday was wholly spent by Le Tong on cleaning the apartnt and organizing her luggage, which made Ji Rui quite depressed.

Fortunately, although Le Tong insisted on moving back to her own apartnt, she didn’t prevent Ji Rui and Baobao from following her back; however, after dinner, Le Tong rcilessly issued an eviction order to Ji Rui.

"Ji Rui, you should go back."

Having finally coaxed Baobao to sleep, Le Tong gently closed the bedroom door behind her. Looking at Ji Rui sitting on the sofa typing on his laptop, she said.

"I’m sleeping here tonight!" Ji Rui didn’t even lift his head, acting like this was his territory, as if he were the one in charge of everything.

This man’s thick-skinned deanor had long been known to Le Tong.

"Ji Rui, it’s just a few minutes back ho." Le Tong kindly reminded the man who was pretending to be oblivious.

"I know, but I feel it’s more convenient to live here. You’re here, Baobao’s here too." Ji Rui raised his head to et Le Tong’s gaze.

Le Tong couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him; she didn’t want to dredge up and debate the issue of whose ho this really was, which had already been discussed that morning.

Le Tong walked over, sat beside Ji Rui, and looked seriously into his eyes, "Ji Rui, don’t force , okay?"

Seeing a slight change in the man’s expression, Le Tong leaned over, gently kissed his lips, and coaxed softly, "Let’s take it slow, shall we?"
