The revised plan was submitted to Ji Rui the next day, and within a few days, the the park began operations according to the new marketing strategy.
The Ji Family evolved from the century-old Glory Group, a huge family business. In recent years, under Ji Rui’s leadership, the company has grown trendously, with ventures spanning a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, and even the popular film industry. However, this is the first ti the Ji Family has ventured into the parks focused on leisure and entertainnt.
This the park was initially built by Ji Rui as a special gift for Baobao. So, he did not insist on it generating significant economic benefits and was even prepared for losses. For a businessman, knowingly engaging in a non-profitable venture is a failure. But as a father who disregards gain and loss for his son’s happiness, it is undeniably a success.
To his surprise, the the park did not beco a burden to the Ji Family. On the contrary, it quickly beca a new force for the company, with performance continuously improving. The planning departnt has even started drafting proposals to make this the park a notable feature of the Ji Family, setting up branches in major cities across the country.
When Ji Rui ntioned the Planning Manager’s excitent over discussing this matter with him at the dining table, he couldn’t help but pinch Baobao’s chubby cheeks.
"Baobei, you’re Daddy’s lucky star!"
At that mont, Baobao was standing on a chair, stretching his neck, arching his body, and trying hard to reach the distant dish of plain chicken with his chopsticks. Hearing his dad praise him, he slightly lifted his chin and smugly snorted, "Hmph, of course, don’t you know who I am?!"
In the past few days, Baobao picked up the term "Young Master" from so TV drama he watched, thinking it sounded impressive, so he’s been using it all the ti.
Le Tong was amused by his smug look and playfully patted his butt, teasing him, "Yo! Let see who this young master is?"
She chuckled as she leaned in, stretching out both hands to gently rub Baobao’s cheeks.
"Tsk, I thought it was soone special, but it turns out to be the stinky and arrogant brat Ji Yu from the Ji Family!"
Baobao let Le Tong pinch and rub his cheeks, giggling as he picked up a chicken drumstick and handed it to Le Tong, "Mommy, the drumstick is for you!"
Le Tong twisted his chopsticks, placing the drumstick back in his bowl.
"Baobao, eat it. Mommy is on a diet."
Since being discharged from the hospital, Baobao’s diet had been strictly controlled, and he hadn’t been allowed to eat greasy foods. It wasn’t until yesterday’s checkup, when Doctor Dong lifted the restriction, that fatty foods appeared on the dining table.
This little glutton had been craving for months. Now, seeing the at, his eyes sparkled, and he plopped back onto the chair, grabbing the drumstick and tearing into it greedily.
"Eat slowly, be careful not to choke..." Le Tong shook her head helplessly, wiping the grease off his chin with a napkin.
"What do you think?"
While attending to Baobao, Le Tong glanced over at the man smiling at their son from across the table.
"I think his idea is pretty good. Specifically, we’ll evaluate and decide when the proposal is submitted."
"Otherwise, if you think it’s valuable, maybe you can have the planning departnt temporarily form a small group of two or three people to investigate various cities before drafting a feasible plan. What do you think?"
Le Tong’s suggestion seed good to Ji Rui, so he asked her to get on it as soon as possible.
For this matter, Le Tong returned to the Ji Family the next morning and went straight to the planning departnt. Lawyer Fan arrived shortly after Ji Rui sat down and was rather curious to see only Ji Rui in the spacious office.
"Mr. Ji, where’s Miss Le?"
"Hmm?!" Ji Rui raised an eyebrow at him, not quite understanding what he ant.
"Is Miss Le going back ho to be a full-ti housewife?"
Having been here several tis without seeing Le Tong, he couldn’t help but assu that the well-pampered Le Tong had gone ho to peacefully embrace her role as a lady of leisure.
"I wish! But unfortunately, she won’t agree! She’s in a eting with the planning departnt, are you looking for her?"
Regarding Le Tong’s work enthusiasm, which rivals his own, Ji Rui is conflicted, feeling both love and hate, extrely torn.
Of course, he loves the current situation of conquering challenges side by side with Le Tong, but whenever he sees her slender figure, he can’t help but feel a mysterious heartache.
"No, I was just curious."
Ji Rui’s conflicted and disappointed expression was as astonishing as seeing a UFO for Lawyer Fan.
This man, who is imnsely powerful and capable in everyone’s eyes, was having such a day, feeling conflicted and lost over a woman, and surprisingly, the opponent of his conflict wasn’t even a person, but work.
"Any progress?"
Obviously, Ji Rui had no interest in satisfying his curiosity. He closed the file in his hand, stood up, and led him into the lounge.
"Would you like so water?" Ji Rui wanted so water himself, and with Le Tong absent, he had to fend for himself, grabbing a cup and inviting Lawyer Fan.
Lawyer Fan beca sowhat flustered, quickly stood up, and grabbed his cup, "Mr. Ji, please have a seat. I can handle this little matter."
Lawyer Fan was fairly familiar with Ji Rui and the layout of his office. Skillfully, he walked to the cabinet to pour water for Ji Rui, but Ji Rui suddenly said sothing from behind.
"Lawyer Fan, can you brew tea?"
Lawyer Fan was a bit taken aback, but he answered honestly, "Ah? Yes, but only at an amateur level."
"On the top shelf of the display rack, there’s a box of premium Da Hong Pao. Brew a pot and try it."
Lawyer Fan grew increasingly curious. Many people knew Ji Rui preferred coffee to tea. However, it wasn’t his place to question further, so he obediently followed Ji Rui’s instructions, bringing over the tea leaves and tea set.
Ji Rui was leaning back on the sofa, flipping through the docunts Lawyer Fan had brought along, "You brew, I’ll take a look first."
Ji Rui didn’t lift his head as he instructed, and Lawyer Fan dared not delay. Though he’d never brewed tea for anyone before, doing so for Ji Rui didn’t seem excessive.
"Sure, but Mr. Ji, lower your expectations since my tea-brewing skills aren’t the best."
Lawyer Fan offered a disclair, in case President Ji got disappointed later.
"No problem, tasting tea is like tasting wine, it’s all about the state of mind. If the mind is right, the tea will taste good." Ji Rui shared so misguided wisdom or perhaps his own whimsical realization.
Lawyer Fan stared at him for quite a while before Ji Rui seed to notice his gaze, lifting an eyelid to glance at him indifferently, "What?"
Lawyer Fan shook his head, "Nothing, I just..."
He paused, unsure if he should say it.
"Just what?" Ji Rui looked at him curiously again.
"I just feel... Mr. Ji, haven’t you changed?"
