Da Bao’s eyes stared fixedly at the sweet smile on Nuonuo’s face, his fists resting on his legs clenched and unclenched repeatedly.
Finally, after Nuonuo hung up the phone, Da Bao called out in a calm voice, "Nuonuo, co here!"
He patted the seat next to him with a serious expression, indicating for her to return to his side.
Nuonuo seed unaware of her brother’s unusual behavior and obediently returned to his side, climbing onto the sofa and curling up like a little kitten next to him.
As for Little Treasure, he seed to instantly sense the change in atmosphere. In a flash, he got up and bolted out of sight. He was smart enough to know it was best not to get involved in matters between Brother and Sister.
"Who is Si Jun?" Da Bao asked again, this ti in a much more severe tone than before.
It was only then that Nuonuo noticed her brother’s unusual behavior and gave him a strange look, "My new friend."

Seldom being questioned in such a manner, Nuonuo glanced at him aggrievedly, "Brother, why are you so fierce? He’s a new friend I t today during a charity performance at the orphanage!"
Da Bao felt a surge of pent-up frustration rise in his chest, "Fierce? Brother is worried about you! You silly girl!"
Nuonuo pouted, "I’m not a silly girl, I’m almost twelve. Brother, you don’t have to worry about everything for ."
Nuonuo’s tone wasn’t heavy, it even had a bit of a coquettish tone unique to young girls, but it sounded extrely harsh to Da Bao’s ears.
"Alright, you say he’s your new friend and that I don’t have to worry about you anymore. Then tell , how old is he? What kind of person is he? Is he reliable? Are you really sure he has no ulterior motives for being friends with you?"
Da Bao, sowhat exasperated, threw a series of questions at Nuonuo, though, in truth, the questions were far fewer than the number troubling him inside.
Nuonuo widened her eyes, staring at Da Bao incredulously.
When did her gentle and considerate Brother Dabao beco so fierce?
Although she felt this brother was unfamiliar, Nuonuo still tried to make him understand that her new friend really was a good boy.
"Brother, he’s thirteen, a very well-behaved boy with a good temper, and the director said he’s a good student and takes good care of the kids at the orphanage."

Da Bao has watched her grow into a graceful young girl from the day she was a month old and could not be said to not understand her.

"I’m wrong? I care about you, and that’s wrong?" Da Bao gritted his teeth and snorted, reaching a point where he was slightly confused by his anger, so much that he used a little more force than necessary.
Nuonuo had never been treated so harshly, especially by Da Bao, the person who had always cherished and protected her the most.
Her chin hurt terribly from being pinched, and tears unconsciously welled up in the corners of her eyes.
Yet, despite the pain in her chin, the little girl’s mouth was still stubborn. "Yes! You are wrong!"
"Ji Sihan, you’ve got guts! For a stinky boy, you’re even going to go against ?"
Da Bao saw the crystal tears appearing at the corners of Nuonuo’s eyes, knowing she was hurt, but his heart hurt more!
"Brother, I’m not!"
For the first ti, Da Bao realized that this girl Nuonuo was stubborn to a frightening extent. Even though the pain brought her to tears, she persisted in her viewpoint.
And most annoyingly, her persistence, her stubbornness, was for a stinky boy she had only known for a few hours!
